cheesy cheesy cheesy

Hmm, I'd say the only clue is the phase of the market we currently are. We have reached the end of earnings releases and there's nothing to excite the markets. JIJO positions are extremely risky at the moment. Only take positions for medium to long term now. In fact, just keep watching for new supports and then watch again if they hold. I expect further downsides till only God knows when (days/weeks?)

My opinion

Opinion is fine. Noting to excite the market. Down side should be expected. Only very few that are seriously undervalued can make tiny movement now. Why a lot will go south as presented waiting for new support. School fee bear also join.

We all need patience at this point and watch like an eagle for new supports. Long-timers will continue holding to their choice stocks provided it is not already over heated.

.

This is surely getting messier and sweet grin grin grin grin

this story tie in the recent Intels Court Judgment of N4b against Oando (Atiku own substantial / controling interest in intels and that is his cash cow / war money machine).

its also potrays the italian guy i mentioned earlier (Volpi) as not on the side of Wale (which cld be disastrous for Wale) though i doubt this story as he (the italian) has a kind of Cross shares in O and O which is Wales major vehicle in Oando and the fact that this story from independent story hinted of a court case in UK (possibly instituted by Ansbury i.e. Mangal baby) forbiding the italian from voting in upcoming AGM

as said earlier Mangal is brutal and has ethnic alignment in his favour

what i sense is that Oando is about to turn profitable as partly evidenced by recent reports and signs oil prices has finally bottomed (between lower 40s and lower 50s) hence it is about to become a cash cow hence d dirty fight for control.

The decider wld be whose side the italian guy eventually takes.

Wale is about to have the fight of his life (this fight would eventually welcome him into the comity of men if he survives it,unfortunately this set of pple are not ojora's / unipetrol board that he rode roughshod over way back)

As said earlier my prayer is that they fight dirty on the stock exchange, so that we commoners / retailers can reap some benefit from the War.

N.B whenever the war spill over to market it might first be in form of dumping (a la Dangote Vs Otedola AP/ Forte oil war of recent memory) before it would eventually turn to bidding war (a la same AP/Forte oil rise back to abt 300 or as experienced in Caphotel i.e. the Ibru.

N.B im very heavy here and ready for any eventuality (up or down) cos most of the cost had been provisioned for on my balance sheet so whoever reads this might want to exercise caution

We are waiting. I really hope that the Company can at least return some profit back to its shareholders.

FO (then AP) was in this kind of crises that crashed it to about N10 some years back. Oando's situation appears to be worse though especially with the allegation of result cooking.
We keep watching how things unfold.

NOT A RECOMMENDATION TO BUY WATCH

Are you one of the stockbroker, all am saying is for brokers to cut down their commission. Better still, have uniform commission.
Can't you open an account with Morgan capital?

When trading with stockbrokers that charges higher, like 3% in both buying and selling one will end up making money for that firm.

Morgan capital charges is 1.5% in both buying and selling put together. How I wish that other stockbrokers like CSL will cut down their commission like Morgan.

Did your know that when a particular stock gain 2.99%, one will be on the win side of 1.49% gain with a firm that charges 1.5 %, but with stockbroker that charges 3%, you are still on the loosing side.

SEC should better do something, most especially now we are into real time online trading.

Most stockbrokers commission are equivalent to broad day light robbery.

I have said it long time ago that their charges are outrageous. It needs to be looked into!

All I'm saying is that they can't just cut it down like that because the commissions are competitive enough already (for most brokers). Let market competition drive that. Don't use Morgan as reference for your uniform rate. grin
If they can go lower and still remain profitable with excellent services, I would appreciate though. Lol.

Tinubu is believed to be neck deep in Oando’s financial and investment crisis. Our SEC source stated that Tinubu’s stake in the company fell to a minuscule one percent after he secured funds from Volpi, Atiku, and Mangal.

Very bad...this cant happen in the USA without him facing JUSTICES

The AGM in Akwa-Ibom will be charged for sure. Just not sure of the appropriateness of discussing matters before SEC at the AGM. The board will not want to comment on matters raised before SEC and the courts. That's the matters arising as far as shareholders are concerned. cheesy

You bought at N1.14 last week, it closed at N1.12 today (1.75% drop) - and "e b like trailer jam me"? you are definitely in the wrong business. If you are really serious, then i submit to you that stock trading/investment is definitely not for you. Do not cause yourself unnecessary HBP

We don't have the facts yet but I suspect the source is referring to direct holdings. His indirect holdings via Ocean and Oil (I think), will still be very much intact. Ocean and Oil holds nothing less than 30% most likely.
That would be the vehicle used for all the alleged fleecing going on.

Disclaimer: My comment is based on unverified information already in the public domain. Hence you might need to do your own independent verification.

based on 2016 audited result

OOIL Ocean and Oil Investment own 1.33% of Oando (this coy is owned by Wale and Boyo)

OODP Ocean and Oil Development Partners Limited owns 55.96% of Oando ( Wale own 22.38 of OODP while Boyo own 11.19, it wasnt stated who own the rest of OODP but it was stated that Francescco Cuzzocrea was a former director of OODP who resigned from the board of OODP in February 2016).

no mention was made of Gabriel Volpi (the italian guy who eventually salvaged the conocophillips deal) at all on Oando but i guess his front is Francescco Cuzzocrea an italian investment banker who use to be also on the board of Heritage bank.

of interest is also that the Gabriel Volpi tie in with Atiku as per intel ownership

so as siad earlier the person who would decide the winner between Mangal and Wale is the italians.

i guess the War has moved to media while the regulator angle continue to burn.

i pray they shld move to the market next

But it closes @ #1.12 after tested #1.08 today, if you want, your can still jump out tomorrow @#1.14 or above with just stockbroker commission lose.

Note, it might test #1 in coming month before finding support.

Hi dear,

You need to develop a trading plan. Are you a short, medium or long term trader? Cutting losses, being patient and diversifying are qualities needed in different scenarios.

Also, get a trading journal and record your successes and mistakes. I call mine lessons learned. Over time you will be able to draw a pattern as to why you make losses or make profit.

It will not be a bad idea to learn how to read and analyse charts and financials.

You seem to be very uncomfortable taking a loss of 2%. Hmmm, if you cannot take a loss of 30% on a single position without developing HBP, the market may not be for you.

Having said this, start by taking small positions and always buy in tranches until you are comfortable trading larger positions.

For this particular issue, if you bought a little quantity, you can wait to see if will fall to sub 1.00 and buy more (always buy in tranches).

Otherwise, if you use Morgan, check to see your breakeven, put it up for sale at breakeven at 10.15am and wait to buy lower (if you still think you want to buy FCMB).

Also, always ask questions. Remember that final decision, risk and profit is yours.

Goodluck!
