Misoke: Does it read anywhere that.......... The following after May 2010 (or any date) is considered to equate work at an appropriately skilled level and relevant to you ANZSCO? |

Bimpkus1:My mail hasn't been pushing out info for a while. As per that, Lautech is equivalent to AQF1, meaning it is equivalent to Oz degree. That been said, you may still need to assess your qualification with vetasses to see if it will equate it. Please, make it clearer to the gurus here so that they can help you more than I will do, most especially Bellong and sujydee to help you out. mctowel01, I sight you, goan sleep or are you stalking me ni ![]() 1 Like |

ZoeW: no didnt see that oh.. it reads- thank you for your ict skills assessment which was received on (date)...( iam abbreviating tho) your ict skills have been assessed as not meeting the req. for professional i.t experience of 4 years in a field closely related to ur nominated skilled occup. your qual is assessed as ff: your b.eng in elect/comp eng from ...has been assessed as comparable to an aqf bach deg.with major in computing your work exp has been calculated on the basis of full time emp. of at least 20hrs /week then they wrote the dates of my last two employments episodes and scored me 0years for them |

ZoeW: im not understanding...its strange to see the degree is fine but not experience in nominated anzsco, and i aligned my employer ref shows my JD is aligned to the nominated anzcso..dont know if its to appeal the assessment or nominate another occupation say computer network eng since my earlier role was NOC engineer for them to review...totally confusing. |

Good afternoon everyone, Thanks Bellong for setting up the trend. I have just been going through the trends and there are a lot of pages to go through. I am seeking advice on the skilled migration scheme to Australia. Here is my current situation, I have a BSc in Bioscience and MSc in Biomedical Science (2013) from universities in the UK. However, I have 3 years work experience in the UK as an Ambulance technician. Then relocated to Nigeria for NYSC and post NYSC seeking opportunities abroad. However going through the skills list, I have not seen a need for my educational background. So can someone please advise on what to do? Can I apply for the skilled migrate or what other options do I have based on my educational background? Reading through the official Border website, the process is to first get the IETLS done then the skills assessment and after that will I be able to start an application. I started the application for the independent skill migrant 189, it was only the New Zealand 189 that was listed and the application will not proceed if you're not a citizen of New Zealand. So I don't know what to do. I just need clarity on this and will appreciate your help. |

Kenade91:Goan check Ambulance tech on MLTSL, I've seen something like that being assessed by vetasses somewhere before, than read the conditions attached to it. It should be pure for you. |
