Hello beautiful peeps, Am about to apply online for my student visa after getting admission to Humber. The thing is am confused about the TRV thing, under optional documents I noticed upload TRV from, do I also need to apply and upload dis too or no need to apply for this as it comes with a student visa. someone kindly help clear this, pls. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by Austinpee4: 1:40pm On Sep 05, 2017 |
someborry:Not needed. Upload the compulsory documents. When your study permit is approved, a TRV will at the same time be issued. You do not need a seperate application for that. You may upload your SOP in the letter of explanation tab. |

abiriba:You will have to withdraw your application as well as you cannot withdraw your passport alone. Send an email to accra.immigration@international.gc.ca requesting that your APPLICATION be withdrawn. Include your passport number, full name and your VFS tracking number. If you have or know your UCI/application number, include them. If you don't, proceed with the first details. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by Austinpee4: 1:48pm On Sep 05, 2017 |
Arebo:Both will undergo standard processing time of 30days as stipulated by their law. The difference in these two is the cost. Having someone in canada makes it cheaper. |

Are TRVs still being approved? My resumption don pass. I want to defer admission if no reply by week ending! |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by Mysine: 2:45pm On Sep 05, 2017 |
McOsheBaba: I'll say you ask the school for last day of resumption where you still have full school fees. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by Mysine: 2:48pm On Sep 05, 2017 |
Austinpee4: Except you really need the passport. I'll say, please don't withdraw your application yet. Keep the faith alive. Just ask school for last day of registration where your fees will still be intact. |

My people my people. I can tell you that all the stress we went through towards getting this trv is worth it. I flew egyptair from lag. There was no tension in lag airport when checking in and my load was way over the allowed kg but spoke my way through. No return ticket was asked cz I showed them the payment advice to my school. Lag to Cairo was smooth as we were served a meal within 2hrs of takeoff and light refreshment like an hour to landing. On getting to Cairo my luggage was checked (please don't carry anything seafood or kilish). The flight from cairo to Toronto took us 11hrs and it was smooth and we were served 2 meals(the first was within an hour of take off and the second was 2hrs to landing). We were given vip treatment all through the flight and on getting to pearson international airport where I am currently giving this update,I was treated like king... everything went smoothly and I wasn't asked anything except my school admission letter. Also.... I was able to carry a backpack with a mini travelling box as hand luggage. Will update the house later once I get settled in regina. Regards. 32 Likes 1 Share |

Good day folks, I look forward to applying to university of Alberta, mechanical engineering, Jan 2017 intake. I intend to kick off the application by sending my transcript, CV and cover letter once my transcript is ready by OCTOBER. Is this achievable considering the time interval. Thanks. |

Good day everyone, please I have a question, is it possible for someone to apply for Masters admission to two or three schools just to be on the safe side. you know masters admissions can be very competitive. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by Austinpee4: 6:48pm On Sep 05, 2017 |
ayodeji481: Your target should be sept 2018 and beyond as most schools would have closed applications for international applicants for the winter 2018 term. |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by Austinpee4: 6:56pm On Sep 05, 2017 |
osento:Add it up with the funds you have in your account. Convert it to Canadian dollars and make the input. All the funds you have access to are your funds available be it in Canada or in your dom account. Main thing should be that it meet IRCC's requirement for funds available for atleast the first year. |

Arebo: Definitely having someone order it for you from there. From here it takes about 40 days while over there it takes 30 days or less. |
