Good evening house and I would like to thank you all for the work you are doing here. I have read this thread to a reasonable stage and I have decided to ask few questions. This is my younger's brother profile Ond, hnd mechanical engineering. No nysc but he did one year IT. Ielts lswr 7,6.5,7,7 I wanted him to go and study more in Australia until I saw this thread and discover that he can actually get pr. My questions is as follow Can he get professional engineer or technologist if he can write a good CDR looking at his degree? If possible suggest any possible occupation to nominate please. Thanks |

zuriel234:Yes. Go to engineer australia website and get the details needed for assessment as an engineer. |
Re: General Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa Through Skilled Migration. by bellong: 10:21pm On Sep 11, 2017 |
zuriel234: You are over-qualified sef... Go to Engineer Australia website and read the process for assessment and how to write a CDR. @justicr, Does your brother have any work experience apart from IT? No, he cannot get a professional engineer assessment because of his qualification. Alternative is to assess as a motor mechanic if he has experience in that field. @everg, Write English test before assessment is dependent on your assessing body and your preference. If it is a requirement for your assessment, you must write it first and if it is not, then it is up to you to write or not. |

@SESE10, Since your husband has additional programming certification and more experience, he should be the principal applicant. However, if you have enough money and requires additional points, you also can assess for 5 points. Read the thread for details about the process. Alphadoor, Azy123, Zoew are the sons of ACS. You can always ask your question here and I am sure they will respond. @KayodeDavid, Could you ask your question here? I am sorry, I don't entertain side emails. Thanks for the understanding. 3 Likes |

jagaban17: I guess someone already answered you. My addition is that you should try very hard to hit a 20point score in your English test to be able to get invitation faster. Your possible point breakdown is below. Qualification. 15 Age. 30 Experience. 5 English. 10 0r 20? You either have 60 or 70 points depending on your performance in English. Your chances are in your hands bro. Goodluck. @Omojaiyejaiye, What did you study prior to the direct entry? |

@ bellong, TRA is the assessing authority of motor machanic. Is there anyone who have successfully gotten positive assessment from them? The requirement seems difficult to come by, In Nigeria, most motor mechanic is road side how will he prove employment evidence and 90 days for assessment outcome Any advise please? |

Rooneyboy: Am so sorry for late response.. The advantage of the mock test is to avoid to wasting 52k trying to pass the pte exam. So if you get this, you will be able to practice and write the test like you are writing the real pte exam and there are two exams in this package. After writing, you will get your score within 24hrs. It is marked by Pearson. They use Pearson Marking Scheme.. Congratulations greeneophyte. |

Justicr: I asked if he has experience in automobile which he can substitute for motor mechanic. The requirements are easy if he has experience in it. His qualification meets the requirements. The experience is what should be the contention. |

go4value: The instructions on TRA website are easy to understand and straightforward. What level is your city and guild's qualification? If you follow TRA's booklet, you shouldn't have any issues. SallyAUS: In addition to uploading the documents, attach them to the email they sent to you and send back to them. |
