Preach! cheesy

Joebie:
When Kelechi was banging the goals at City was he revered above England youth players by the English press? No!

Think my brother. Let each one hold on to their stats and blow their own trumpets.

But don't forget this thread is dedicated to the Super Eagles, and Kelechi is King here because he already has 7 goals for us. Any other performance by the special lad na jara.

@bolded That's just it. That's the big problem!!! grin

TheSuperNerd:
Sir Joebie... I bet you that if Rashford was the one with Kelechi-like scoring stats The Man U and EPL fanboys will swing it like a double-edge sword and put it up our throats and shove it in our faces.... looollll

Even when it comes to International goals, Nacho trumps Rashford and here they are avoiding that route also.... Hahahahahahahahaha... bunch of Wailing dollopheads...... sorry I mean wailing Red devilheads... grin

P.S: Make no mistake about it... I got no EPL or European Club... so this is not hate. I even have a few favorite players in Man utd... I said that earlier to a certain Dope or something... what is his moniker again? (will check and modify)

I just hate it when Euro Club apologists cannot see past their club allegiances... lol... really myopic and irritating in soccer analysis.

He also needs a Copa America.... he hasn't won that. And The real Madrid fanboys of the European section will use that as a huge stick in any argument against Barca Fanboys because Ronaldo has won the Euros.... looolll

I just know how these things roll... people choosing what angle to analyse from... and turning blind eyes to the rest... Hahahahahahahahaha....

Joebie:
haha Messi may not have won the world cup, but he's had quite a successful international career compared to many. But yet, at the same time, he does not feel he has achieved internationally. That even supports my argument. If there is anything that Messi needs badly, it is the World Cup trophy with Argentina.

Hmmmmm... another quote on this rashford ish... seems I hurt. a lot of man Utd fans today... loll... na wa ooo.. make una calm down naa... cheesy

Last time it was Mikel that brought scores of monikers to this thread now, it is Nacho and rashford... Hahahahahahahahaha.... I see a trend... wink

Anyway....

But he made The Top 10 in the Golden boy awards last year... wink

He made the UK Telegraph's prestigious list of world's best 50 young players U-21... a list topped by Mbappe and Donnarumma.

He also makes the Top 3 of the EPL's deadliest forwards in terms of Clinical scoring ratios.

And yes I saw that interview by CR7... good for him... I didn't read or see him mention Gabby Jesus, Paul Pogba, Harry Kane, Paulo Dybala, or even Marco Veratti or Isco... does it mean they are sh**ty too? cheesy
Recall Rinaldo also said "and some others"..

Ohhh it is because he mentioned Rashford huh? Same Ronaldo who went to man mark Iheanacho himself for a last minute cornerkick for Man City in the 2015/2016 UCL semi 2nd leg in the same period that Nacho was commanding stats which made him the Deadliest and most clinical forward in Europe... lol

Oga... tell me something else.

Guardiola was the worst thing that ever happened to Nacho.

If Pelligrini was still at City, we won't be having this conversation.

God bless Pelligrini wherever he is.

Im not downgrading him. My argument is centred at the moment back to last 12 months.
I'm his fan tho.
If he start banging goals as he did earlier in his career and this kind of argument pops out, i will give him 100% support.

Iheanacho's record internationally will continue to dwarf Rashford's. We can start from the U17s if you will, until now.

See you at the end of the current EPL season. Because even on that basis, we will have the last laugh.

about the international stats, that 7goals is padded with penalties not to mention that Nacho is almost always our top striker while Rashford plays out wide while more emphasis is playing through the middle with Alli and Kane. Now I am not trying to rubbish Nacho's international stats but I am saying that a wide midfielder who has scored 2goals in 11 games is not bad at all IMHO

If you are truly a fan, you will stand by the player. Even you sef suppose know say coaches have their preferences. Did we expect Nacho to bench Aguero? no. But didn't even Gabriel bench Aguero?

Have no fears. Iheanacho is even deadlier now. Time will vindicate us.

Abeg, this kelechi issue with rashford shld stop pls, cos I dont see nacho scoring much goals in Leicester this season owing to their playing pattern, am afraid he wont live up to expectations, yes he will start scoring but not much goals, I wont leave the fact that his breakthrough season was far better than rashfords, but I believe rashford will score more goals this season than him cos of the quality of teammates he has and d playing pattern, we cant compare the quality of a grade A team and grade C team.

Rashford will surpass KC this season but I still believe KC is a better clinical player than Rash.

People don't understand part of the huge reasons why Pele is Still the greatest are the Three Fifa World cups he led Brazil to win. He scored goals... yes... he won club titles mostly in Brazil and South America... yes.... He even won two copa America I believe (been a while I read about his achievements)... but he is the greatest because of his ultimate achievement of three world cups... he just trumps everyone else.

And If anyone doubts how skillful Pele was... Hahahaha... I will drop a video on request proving that most of the skills players use today from Messi to Ronaldinho to Okocha and To C.Ronaldo... Pele had already perfectly executed then times without number in his illustrious playing career.

Pele remains the best of all time. And the international achievements are what gives him the major edge. Period!

without putting sentiments, if you were the coach going to a world cup and you have one spot left and you have two players, one is currently a regular in a top Epl club, versatile as hell, he can play the Striker role, the SS role, the attacking midfield role and can play out wide too. The other one is a deadly striker who isn't as versatile as the other and on top of that he hasn't been in top form recently who would you choose?

This is why I prefer Messi to Ronaldo. Rashford can have a bad day in front of goal but he can stil be the man of the match because he has a lot more to his game. The Iheanacho of 2013 could do that but we have to agree right now that if he doesn't score he hardly(HARDLY) influences play in anyother way. So in this Iheanacho vs Rashford comparison, the only thing Iheanacho has going for him is goals, if we come to chances created, Rashford, dribbles? Rashford, assists? Rashford, take-ons? Rashford? Just about everything else? Rashford. I pray for Nacho's liberation but currently he isn't close to Rashford.

They can come for my head now

Pele is the greatest, and no propaganda will ever change that.

Sometime ago, i said I'm a madrid fan but I'm not too blind to know that messi is better than Ronaldo.

Same things goes to nacho, av watched over and over again same as Gabriel. Gab is better than nacho in almost all department.

I always wish and pray for his success cos it gives me joy seeing him celebrating goals

He only scored as a no.9 against Cameroun and Togo from open play..... he only scored a penalty against Senegal and Corsica.... so how is his goals stats padded with penalties??

Nacho scored most of his international goals as a no.10 mister!!! why are you lying naa??

Against Tanzania... Against Zambia... Against Luxembourg... Even against Mali... all as a player behind the striker... haba Mickeal!!!!! this goal-posts shifting is too much abeg.... Hahahahahahahahaha...

does this mean you don't know the meaning of 'almost always'? You only named 4 games where he played behind a main striker(I was waiting for you to mention either Togo or Corsica because of Kayode let me catch you red-handed but moving on), so that means that out of 11 games he has played 7games as a striker, I ask again what is the meaning of 'almost always'?

Kayode chanters are silent now, na KC dem dey face, he hasnt scored an offside sef this season whats wrong?, I dont want to here that coach did ojoro when zambia match list is out, cos desser, dennis, onyekuru and awoniyi is waiting in the corner.

KC and Simon mosses shld seat up cos that attacking front is more competitive now, even Iwobi position is not gauranteed.

that guy onuachu is starting to make a name, netted a hatrick this week if am not wrong.

he has already scored 2goals in the only game he started for Girona(a friendly IIRC), so yeah he is still banging even at a new club. Plus he got a penalty for his team that was missed this past matchday so are you still looking for him? Go to youtube
