Good evening: lalaazo, Royal54, and kamotisha. You guys are just too much abeg. Thanks very much for your candid feedback. I truly appreciate your swift response to my enquiry and with so much humour lol.

Your comments are definitely on point...and I concur! However, I understand that the next opportunity for NSE registration is January and the qualifying exam is about late Q1. Yet, I want to start my application in earnest. I'd investigate other opportunities for closing that potential gap....I mean the "packaging" lol.

Have a great week!

@Segunwamiri,

Fill the correct information with supporting documents. If asked later about the discrepancy, you can explain in details how the agent added unauthorised information to the previous application.

Hello guys, trust our weekend is coming up well.

I've got a little concern and I need your input on this. I understand that Form 1023 can be used to correct wrong answers provided in one's visa application while it is still in progress. What about after decision (negative) has been made? About a year ago, a visa agent gave some wrong information about me in a SC 600 application he made on my behalf.... In my times of ignorance/desperation/impatience.. Smiles...Can this be corrected just before one puts in another application with the accurate information?

Fill in the right info this time around. But later CO might contact you about it then you can provide a detailed explanation of what happened the last time.

Providing false information or bogus documents whether by yourself or agents on your behalf during your visa application could attract visa or citizenship refusal or cancellation and consequently be banned from Australia,so you have to be careful.

In your own case, the agent acted on your behalf so you cannot claim ignorance of the law because you signed form 956; your agent should know better. What you need to do is to declare your previous visa refusal and the reason for it in form 80. Provide right information and you should be fine.

People need to be careful of the information they provide. You must be very truthful on information you provide. Don't forge documents. It is called "bogus document" . The law can catch up with you.

Hello e-Fam kindly take a look at my case.

I do hope my OND will count in terms of the total number of years in line with the 5yrs requirement for all Engineering courses? Just want to be sure because I went through direct entry route for my Bachelor degree. And I am wondering if it will fly.

Can I be assessed as a professional Engineer with these qualifications?

OND = Biomedical Engineering Technology 2yrs

Bachelor of Chemical Engineering (Direct Entry) 4yrs.

In addition to what as been said; In your reason for refusal if not stated in your visa refusal document from DIBP ; you can state that you submitted Insubstantial documentation, otherwise be has truthful as possible to state what is on your refusal document.
***Remember they ave you on the system already so use grammar wisely.

Yes, your OND counts towards the degree since it is what you used to be admitted through DE.

When a post is missed, you should either repost it or call attention to it, not throwing accusation.

Posts can be easily missed while reading through and in addition, I don't have answer to every question, that's why it is a forum free for all to answer the questions.

Mcslize; please don't be offended I'm sure someone with the best suitable answer would tend to your question soon so as not to mislead you.

But if you on the clock; you can consult VETASSESS for document checking service for AUD$110 including GST(even though your assessing with EA).That being said:3 years degree proramme is normally rated as Engineering Technologist( The required academic qualification is an Australian 3 year bachelor of technology degree in engineering following 12 years of schooling or equivalent, source of info MSA booklet). Yes you used direct entry via diploma;which is OND and not a two year degree foundation programme. As such you are at the discretion of EA.

@babylove01

You hit the point clearly I appreciate, I want ur opinion & others opinion too on this.
I have 3yrs relevant experience after my HND(civil engineering) before I gain admission into the University thru direct entry to obtained my BEng(civil engineering),which after i obtained my BEng I've gained just 1yr plus relevant experience.
I read from EA website that one can only claim work experience on experience gained after the completion of the qualification u're applying with, my question is since I have just 1yr plus experience after my degree, will it not affect my chances of getting positive assessment(I'm nominating civil engineering draftperson).
All my work experience are in civil engineering
Thank you

If u re nominating civil engineering draftsperson, then you HND would be sufficient hence u can claim points for work experience before your degree

Thanks a lot @ NNBB2012 and lalaazo.

The below was the reason for Refusal

"You have provided no acceptable documentation to support your claims of travel to Australia temporarily for business purposes. You have provided no evidence of funds to support your proposed stay in Australia or evidence of credentials or employment, invitation etc. or have you demonstrated strong enough incentive to return to your home country.

I therefore have strong concerns regarding the genuineness of your claimed intention to visit
Australia temporarily for business reasons or that you will abide by the visa conditions"

All these was simply because the crook didn't declare my travel history, didn't list my wife and child as family members (in fact, he listed ONLY a younger sister's name that does not exist) and didn't upload neither did he ask me for any proof of fund.

Good morning afternoon guys, now my assessor keeps acknowledging I have sound knowledge in structural and/or civil engineering but always looking for a reason to make me accept "engineering technologist" as an assessment outcome. My concern now is, can I send a feedback insinuating that I can accept the structural engineer role which is a specialist area under civil engineer since that's where most of my work are covered, though I applied as a civil engineer?
The assessor is proving difficult to placate oh.
I'm submitting another episode to address the new "integrating into system of projects undertaken on behalf of stakeholders and synthesising overall approaches to complex problems" reason. Can anyone gimme a hint?

I hope to scale through this time

You shouldn't have accepted the Engineering Technologist to start with.

You're usually given advance notice of of decision, an given the opportunity to change the decision by submitting a new career episode or providing additional documents. This would have been your best chance.

I'm not sure you can reassess t last outcome. However, you can reapply i.e. submit a fresh an stronger application which means paying the full assessment fee.

Others who have different idea as to how to go about it would reply t you soon. But before that, you should put your mind on the worst case of applying for a fresh assessment which me writing fresh career episodes an providing stronger supporting documents.

Best wishes
