Confidence is more important, because it can't be imbibed in a day, but recklessness is easier to overcome or guard against, so I'll go for Ezenwa.

As long he doesn't cause another lose of points unnecessary. grin

You must be very studpid to address me in such manners. who is waiting to read your comments btw? Check the title of the thread and tell me if you are not stupid to assume 5 page discussion on Roy Keane and his Legendary status is not derailing the thread.
sorry about this Mr Napoleon. i will go modify it asap. one love

CR7 is not a football, a goalscoring genius yes but not a football genius. Come on, apart from posting astronomical goal scoring returns, what else can Ronaldo do with the ball that.....Hazard cannot better? His goalscoring ability is at a genius level but generally he is not a footballing genius

Dude! What did I hear you say? grin

Walahi, you no dey stop to surprise me. grin

they r all genius in d game, these guys creat chances from no where,or score from impossible angles and tight situations. why do some score freekicks and some can't?
I agree to some on your list but not all. However all the players mentioned are top notch.

You beat me to this.

CR7 is NOT A FOOTBALL GENIUS. He is just a fantastic athlete who happen to be a great goal scorer. An Inzaghi on steroid. Iniesta, Ronaldinho, Zidane etc all have better claims of being football geniuses than CR7.
I wanted to say these oo but didn't want to court unnecessary controversy. If you've seen them Baggio, Van Basten, Ronaldo, Bergkamp you will have perspective on this issues

There is a difference between agree to disagree and blatant denial of pure facts which baffles me. Imagine Rooney saying Roy Keane passes well and someone here is trying to look for an excuse to show he knows more than Rooney. Nwannem I do not know how to agree that.

Someone trying to play down the DMF role because he wants to taint Mikel's impact is a no, no for me. I do not know how to agree to disagree.

Nobody was lying anywhere. The fact that you didn't play organised football might have skewed your thinking about certain aspects of the game that only those who played could relate to.

Look, back when we played Street football/monkey post. The street bullies usually looked better than they are because we avoided squaring up against them. You give those sort of players an arms length, this translated to them bullies looking rather good..

This was the same case with Roy Keane. People avoided squaring up against him. When Viera took it upon himself to go toe to toe with him, all hell broke loose. Each time Man Utd played Arsenal, Viera swallowed him, imagine if all the teams in the Premiership had fearless guys like Viera, Keane would have been forced into an early retirement.

To forumites complaining, my apologies for contributing to spamming the thread. I was just replying my mentions, never knew this arguement stretched into pages. These things are bound to happen in a male dominated football thread.
Peace out

all those guys you mentioned are playmakers, naturally playmakers are artistes ala Pirlo okocha etc, how can you even compare inzaghi and Ronaldo they are world's apart in style and position on the field
don't mind him jare, I'm sure he will mention ibrahimovic, Luiz Suarez as footballing genius
Cr7 has the highest assists in league for Madrid for the past 25 years and if we remove half of his goals from Madrid total goals since he got tell me how successful they will be

I don't know why some people are always bent on discrediting his contributions and achievements as a footballer

Now thats more like it. At least we can understand you from this angle. We should all try to pass across our points without recourse to insults or verbal abuse. Lets bear in mind that different people have different tolerance levels. In other words, lets measure what we say to people before actually posting.
That said, I am proud of you my brother for your sense of handling. Big ups and keep the flag flying. UP Super Eagles!!!

Onazi-Etebo-Mickel also did well against Algeria, the key ingredient here is Mickel, but l know the coach would go with the usual Onazi-Ndidi-Mickel which is fine anyway.
