If these things are the only things to be proud of as a Nigerian, then i sorry for Naija. Please delete it here and ask GTB to take theirs down too before the world sees it and mocks us for life.

Our deformity overwhelmingly outshines whatever good memories we have.

* Epileptic power supply

* Deathtrap roads

* Tribal restiveness

* Comatose economy

* Cancellation of Hosting Miss world due to Islamic fundamentalism.

* Fuel importation despite local production

Nigeria is in dire need of major surgery.

Very fugly somebody, where you not the shēmale that posted your fugly birthday pictures on nairaland, you should be very ashamed of yourself. it's either you are still a kid suffering from juvenile delinquency or you were not brought up properly by your parents.

Really?
Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe was born in 1904 and so at Independence was 56, and had become a relevant figure several years before then, having being involved in the nationalist movement and fight for independence. Chief Obafemi Awolowo and Sir Ahmadu Bello were born in 1909 and 1909 respectively and were 51 and 50 respectively at independence, and had also become relevant figures several years before. This three were the first premiers of the then three regions, and at independence wielded enormous power - with Zik becoming President and Sir Ahmadu Bello electing not to abdicate his role as the Sadauna of Sokoto to become the Prime Minister but instead made space for Sir Abubakar Tafawa Belewa, who was born on the 1st of October, 1912 and so was 48 year old?
So when did we now resolved that we are going to be comfortable with senile, old, expired and recycle leaders of 'yester' years play "ten-ten" with our future? How could you have expected anything good from them? How can men who got opportunities created by these great leaders I had mentioned above, and even became relevant in much younger age, now come back to you in their 70s, 80s, and 90s, and you were busy stupidly shouting "Sai Baba". See where your Sai Baba has landed you.
Who told you that at 30, 40 and 50 you are too you to rule or be relevant in running the affairs of your country? Who told you that you are only fit to go and stand for hours under the scorching sun to cast your vote and start lamenting afterwards? Can't you see your fault in all of these too?
Well, at this time of our nationhood, when everything is gone haywire, my question to you today's is: Read More

Make anyone no make person vex o.. which pride are u talking about?

No better job for graduates, better jobs are extremely few and govt jobs are left for the most connected politicians..

I decided to hustle on my own via internet to make a living legally and this same stupid country keeps frustrating me with poor electricity and internet connection. I spend a lot on fuel with stupid internet connection where telecom firms cheat Nigerians any how.

Do u know how annoying it is to be a Nigerian? The last time I traveled, most federal govt roads were so bad that i wept. I wept because my stomach suffered from various pot holes and frustrating and avoidable traffic..

Abeg, abeg, the last time I checked, students of LAUTECH are still on strike! My brother, forget pretense, there is absolutely nothing to be proud of..

This country is a killer.

The moments that would make you regret your Nigerian citizenship far outweigh the moments that would make you proud of it.
If you don't like something, you CHANGE it. If you're in a bad situation that displeases you, you TURN IT AROUND.

But most of the people condemning our selfish leaders and the rotten system are bad, selfish scum themselves, who only look out for themselves and their family, and fvck everyone else. They would fvck others over for their own gain - same as the animals at the top. Yet they condemn them and blame all of Nigeria's woes on them alone, when most of the people playing this blame game are equally culpable.

It's just depressing.

They would rather leave the country than do something to help it. As if they would have had any place to run to had the people of the nation they're migrating to acted and thought like them.

Well, I'm currently in the GTBANK now along mile 2 and they don't have network to enable withdrawal both on their ATM and inside the bank. Guy/girl....I'm sorry but there is absolutely nothing to be proud of in this country. The enumerated list are old glories, do you have new ones to be proud of Education-BAD, Health-BAD, Roads-BAD, Security-BAD, Infrastructures-BAD....Ministers,Senators....-Clueless and Selfish.... Please, what else functions normally in tbis country!
