The True Nature Of God And Universe(s) by WetinConsignMe: 2:33pm On Oct 08, 2017 |
Scientists have shown through quantum mechanics how and why the universe(s) very likely came from nothing. God exists outside our human reality and understanding. It is like asking where a circle began. God does not need us to worship Him. We are the ones who need to worship God. We instinctively know it is good for us. God is not bound by rules including the rule of not changing. He can change ten times a day if He wishes. He is also not bound by the rule of having only one nature or one religion. He can have as many natures as He wishes. He can also have as many religions as He wishes. We choose our perspective and relationship to God. For example, we choose to refer to God as "He". It is our choice and has nothing to do with God's true nature. 2 Likes |

God itself means "power" and it is You and I. God is the hidden part of us that dwells in every possible dimensions. Knowing God is knowing yourself, knowing that you are powerful. Worshiping God is an act of self appreciation we have misunderstood as worshiping a man in the sky. We will continue to go in cycle until we realise that we are all God experiencing existence from unlimited/ trillions of eyes 12 Likes 1 Share |

ifenes: I beg to differ. We are all gods in a sense. But there is also God who set up this our reality and who exists outside it. That is the only way to explain various supernatural phenomena that are forever placed beyond our comprehension, science, logic, and natural laws of cause ans effect. 1 Like |

WetinConsignMe: Your reality is your creation, no one can set that up for you. I know religion created a different God to control the lives of the many. But that's totally up to individuals to accept whether they are their own God or to accept another God created by the few in control. God as known by religion is the God of the matrix......the matrix isn't real, you are. You are God and the universe is inside of you. 4 Likes 1 Share |

ifenes: How can u possibly believe that? You don't even have any way of knowing your true nature. You could be just an imaterial brain wave or a brain in a jar. You have no hand in deciding how, when, or where you were born or even how your brain works. Which means you actually have no true free will. Some God! |
Re: The True Nature Of God And Universe(s) by ifenes(m): 3:33pm On Oct 08, 2017 |
WetinConsignMe: Free will is our true nature which we are exercising all the time. Being on this physical plane of existence is a choice we made, all the illusions are choices. My true nature is unconditional love, my brain is only an antenna to my much higher self, the part of me that knows it all, the same part which religion calls God. Taping into that part of me means I will have to eliminate my ego mind which is my false self. Our thoughts create what we experience, train your thoughts and you will experience stuff that are totally different. We are Masters of the Universe but many do not know that. 3 Likes |

ifenes: Once again u have no way of knowing your true nature or the true nature of reality. You can say anything, as u just did, but that is the FACT. All indication is that this reality is set up by someone outside it. That is the only way to explain things being foretold and they happen exactly as foretold, sometimes hundreds of years later. If people had true free eill that wouldn't be possible. Environment u were born into, biology, above all else, how your brain works, determine your choices yet u never chose any of those things. If u were born with a predisposition to drugs into a drug-infested area u have almost 100% chance of becomming a drug addict. Also, consider this: We know that changes to brain chemistry can alter behavior—otherwise neither alcohol nor antipsychotics would have their desired effects. The same holds true for brain structure: Cases of ordinary adults becoming murderers or pedophiles after developing a brain tumor demonstrate how dependent we are on the physical properties of our gray stuff. Many scientists believe that the American physiologist Benjamin Libet demonstrated in the 1980s that we have no free will. It was already known that electrical activity builds up in a person’s brain before she, for example, moves her hand; Libet showed that this buildup occurs before the person consciously makes a decision to move. The conscious experience of deciding to act, which we usually associate with free will, appears to be an add-on, a post hoc reconstruction of events that occurs after the brain has already set the act in motion. Re: The True Nature Of God And Universe(s) by ifenes(m): 4:48pm On Oct 08, 2017 |
And your trust a book to tell you about your true nature about yourself ? A book tells you a God created you and yet cannot produce the location of this god ? Well it happens that the God is lost in itself. Otherwise if we say God created other Gods, God itself must have a creator and it will be endless. But instead of trying to figure out who created the man in the mirror, touch yourself and you will realise the man in the mirror is only a reflection of you. 4 Likes |

WetinConsignMe:Joke? Where is the joke? What is the purpose of existence of any living or non living things? That's a straightforward question! |

ABBkelvin: Well, here is the answer. Having nothing in existence is unsustainable. Ssientists have demonstrated that "nothing" is a highly unstable state to sustain for any substantial length of time. So there has to be something. We are that something. Does that.answer your question? |
Re: The True Nature Of God And Universe(s) by WetinConsignMe: 5:23pm On Oct 08, 2017 |
ifenes: Who said anything about any book here. What u r witnessing is pure common sense and basic reasoning at work. This our reality seems too contrived to have not been set up by someone. And Mr. Free will, when did u choose what dream to have last night? Infact why didn't u stay awake and choose not to sleep for a month? |

WetinConsignMe: I know that there's something sir, the question is; what's the purpose of the something that started everything? |
Re: The True Nature Of God And Universe(s) by ABBkelvin(m): 5:26pm On Oct 08, 2017 |
WetinConsignMe:I guess there will never be an answer to this new type of question you and I are raising on this thread for now, at least not in this our world. |
Re: The True Nature Of God And Universe(s) by WetinConsignMe: 5:43pm On Oct 08, 2017 |
ABBkelvin: That's the purpose: there has to be something because there being nothing is unsustainable. That something happens to be us. You may ask why us in particular. That will be an entirely different quedtion |

ifenes: I don't think u read the op properly. Here is part of it: God exists outside our human reality and understanding. Yet u r trying to figure Him out based on human reality and undersranding. If we perceived reality as it truly is everything would make sense including God, but we don't. I supect in reality everthing is "circular" including time and space. No begining, no end. 2 Likes |

WetinConsignMe: You are trying very hard to distance yourself from your responciblity here. Dreams are subconscious Astra travel into parallel universes. When your body sleeps, your brain is no longer in control, hence your witness other energy bubbles you exist in.sleep is the most advance and natural form of meditation. Sleep is a reminder to us that we beyond space and time etc. Im sorry what I'm trying to inform guys on this nairaland is too advance. You are your creator, no other person is. The creation and creation are one and the same. The paintings of a painter defines him and his state of mind. You are God means you are powerful. Being a God doesn't only mean you must do positive stuff, it also means you can use your creative powers negatively. Mind creates realities, so a poor person creates his reality too. We are all creators, all God. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Same with your nails. * choose not to sleep for a month * tell your cells to stop aging * tell yourself to become younger * tell your heart to skip.just one beat * all the processes going on.within you, tell them to stop.for one second. These are things going on WITHIN YOU that you have absolutely no control over. Some god! |

ifenes: My friend, like I told u, u can say anything as long as you don't have to offer a shred of proof. The FACT remains that u have no way of knowing your true nature or the true nature of reality Ok, Mr. god, do the following (which should be child's play for a god) *tell your hair (not even another person's, your own!) to stop growing. WetinConsignMe: Okay since you feel you have a god somewhere, who is it ? I doubt the idea of god you think is your god can do any of the points you mentioned. If your body stops working you will die because that's part of the illusion. But do you think you will stop existing? No I can see your mind is fixed on the religious ideology of what a god is. The one that says you are powerless....good luck with that. Peace 2 Likes 1 Share |

ifenes: Bros, like I told u, this discussion, this thread, is meant to be based on pure reasoning, common sense, not some esoteric, philosophical garbage u read somewhere. U r the one saying god, god, god, everybody is god. When I have shown u scientific proof that, not only are u not god, even the free will u think u have is an illusion. My only assertion, based on pure reasoning, is that this our existence seems too contrived to not have been set up by someone/something outside it. |
Re: The True Nature Of God And Universe(s) by WetinConsignMe: 3:57pm On Oct 10, 2017 |
NairalandSARS: Oh, examples abound. You can google "predictions or prophecies that came true". The problem with answering this type of question is that the questioner can always find an angle through which to doubt whatever u say, forgetting that just about everything we think we know can be doubted, including our very existence. Where do I start? Let me start with things I'm 100% sure about: All through my growing up, my entire extended family had our eyes on two particular people, an aunt and an uncle. It was known to us all that a random fortune teller told them when they were little that my aunt would be like a big tree who would provide shade to many peope, while my uncle would be like a bird trying to get off the ground but couldn't and finally stayed on the ground. Fast forward to today, my aunt is a wealthy woman, with many employees and many people dependent on her for their livlihood. My uncle, on the other hand, after several heroic but unsuccessful efforts to make it in the city, has stayed poor and has finally settled permanently in the village. HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE!!!! Within the answer to that question lies the secret to the true nature of our existence. ifenes, sir, emphatically, u r not god. |

ifenes: U can't because u r not. A god is at the very least in control of processes within himself. U r not even in control of your own thoughts and can easily be made to form to form a habit you'd be powerless to.break. If I feed u certain drugs for sometime you'd become powerlessly addicted to them. Guaranteed. Some god! |
