My own case, i did assessment of my work experience with EA to actually know my fate, because i combined Chemical Engineering & Cost Estimating Experience. All years was recognized by EA. Lesson learnt is that always align your job description with the ANZCO code.

Pls what documents exactly did you submitted for work experience. Thanks.

I look forward to your response.

How do I know points I will be claiming when submitting my EOI if EA does not do work experience assessment?
I am sure of less cost of assessment but dont understand better chances at maximum work points.
Is DIBP also involved in Skill assessment thereby giving me choices to select from the options of EA or DIBP?
Help clarify these questions Sir.
Thanks Sir.

I do wonder how y'all get to Page 460

As long as you have valid credentials to prove all the years of experience you have, then go ahead and claim it. DIBP will still vet your documents to validate your claims regardless of the verdict of any assessing body on your claim.

Hello Fam!

Just realized that it is HARD to get recent job adverts for Engineering technologist since it is a requirement for Tasmania state sponsorship to provide at least 5 recent job adverts on the occupation within the last 6 weeks. Any help available? I have combed some popular Australian job engines but to no avail.

Good day everyone, I'm new here. I got a positive skills assessment from EA as an engineering technologist on 31st August 2017. I can claim 55points as my Age is 30 which gives me 30points. I also have more than 5years experience in a relevant occupation which gives me 10points and my bachelor's degree gives me 15points.
I saw my new ielts result today and I'm unable to make 7 in all sections so I can't claim any point in the English test(this has made me heartbroken). How can I get a state sponsored 190visa to Australia or even 489 working visa. I would be glad to get useful tips here. Thanks

I have a positive skills assessment from EA as an engineering technologist. My points equal 55.
30years-30points
Degree-15points
Work experience (over 5years)-10points
How can I get an invitation to apply for 489visa or 190 state sponsored visa.
Re: General Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa Through Skilled Migration. by Hephziebah(f): 12:56pm On Oct 13, 2017
I think your ACCA qualification should suffice as the Australian bachelor's equivalent. If you did the Oxford Brookes thing, even better. You have a choice of writing either IELTS or PTE Academic, after which you can go ahead and assess your qualifications and work experience.

Hello House,

Kindly help assess the below:

Age 32.
Professional experience (currently Finance Mgr) - 9 years
Cert/Qual. - OND (accounting), ACCA member.
IELTS - to be booked (upon your assessment)

Any hope for me?

Lastly, please help me out, i think am lost on the process. Upon writing the above exam, do i just go ahead and apply for the EOI or there're other steps to complete?

Thanks you all.

Experts in the house, i await your response. Pls help

So sorry Abt ur ielts results.u fortunately ur field is very competitive.if u desire to be invited in d next invitation round,u don't actually need 10 point but 20 points,to bring ur point to 75.my advice, try doing pte academic. It's objective.if u read well,n know d technique involved, cos it's technical,u shall ace d desired score..

@Hepziebah Thanks so much for your response.

Where I have a challenge is how to proceed to go ahead and complete the assessment. Will i complete the assessment via filling a form online or other means? is the assessment same as completing the EOI online form (i think i have the link to that)?

Lastly, Is there any requirement to convert current qualification to Australian standard (similar to WES of Canadian skilled program) ?

Thanks so much once again.

Has anyone had a positive assessment with EA without a payslips? The companies I've worked for declined to give me but indicated they will outlined it on the reference letter. Please what am I to do, is there a solution to this situation?

In my opinion, it's better to be safe than sorry. Most people are refused visas because they overclaimed points...especially when a deduction in your years of experience will reduce your points below 60. That been said, it's safer to assess your work experience with EA. When the outcome comes, you can calculate your points clearly and know your chances. It might cost more but you will not be left in suspense. That's what I did and it worked for me.
All the best

if your occupation is not listed in the picture attached, that means 65 is the current minimum point for such occupation and they are called non pro rata

This is a dicey one. How were you paid? If they paid into your bank account, print out your statement of account and use a highlight pen to highlight your salary coming in.
I have over 7 years experience but i didnt have payslips for the first 10 months. Out of the 10 months, I was paid by hand for 6 months and paid into acct for the remaining 4 months. I submitted my statement of account for the 4 months and it was counted. The 6 months which I was paid by hand wasn't counted as I had no proof. Luckily for me, the deduction didn't have an effect on my points.
So you can do same. Hope this helps...

thanks for your reply.

We were paid with Cheque and the amount wasn't that convincing.
Can cheque photocopies or the books(I know they have a copy) serve the purpose.
I've an Engineering firm registered, up to 1.6 years now, should I use this firm documents, get a tax clearance to substitute this incase I don't get a payslip or if it below what they consider professional fee?

Thanks again.
