Senior colleagues in the house and other gurus who got positive assessment from a tier 2 university should help with the questions below. I have a BSc. in Accounting from Lagos State University as well as having over 3 years work experience in the profession. I worked for more than a year in an audit firm as an auditor and the rest as been as an accountant in the industry. My questions: a. Should I assess with VETASSES as an internal auditor? Do I have a chance of getting a positive outcome based on the fact that I attended a state university and not having ICAN? How can you guide me on the process? b. Should i assess with either ICAA or CPA as an accountant or external auditor as no one is sure of what may happen to our profession in the with the very high cut off points. Will I get a positive outcome with my BSc and detailed syllabus with transcripts despite not having ICAN? Kindly help me to address these issues in order to determine my next move. Thank you. 1 Like |

[Good question. Your really should consider the listed factors. I live in Tassie and job opportunities are not easy to come by compared to the mainland cities. Those of us in Tassie are considering relocating. So guys, do your home work meticulously. Professions in high demand are the medical practitioners certified in australia as well. quote author=koleefem05 post=61768593] Lotta questions to be answered...not just jumping to any and every states. What’s life like in Tasmania? (Un)Employment rate? Cost of living? Etc. It’s a welcome development, however insight into the state will be important too. My thought only. [/quote] 1 Like |

Hello E-fam, started from page 0 last week, thank God I made it to here! I actually was on the student visa route before I decided to heed to oga Bellong's advice and go through PR.. But I have a little problem.. I have B. Eng in Petroleum Engr. Graduated 2015 and i don't have any experience. Having gone through this thread and seeing that Pet eng is not on 189 and is neither sponsored by any state.. I want to nominate chemical engineering. Will i be assessed positively by EA if i write a strong CDR. Please seniors, help me I already have Toefl for assessment but will write PTE and ace 20pts.. |

charlie111: Yes, it's very possible to have positive outcome using chemical engineering with a good CDR ask Kamotisha or majiouk 2002 Use the links below for study materials, then contact me for gold mock test before writing the real test. 20 points is possible! https://drive.google.com/drive/u/0/folders/0B1AAAk8zTJxWMXhDY2FUS1RiWUU https://drive.google.com/drive/u/0/folders/0B1AAAk8zTJxWMXhDY2FUS1RiWUU 1 Like |

My response to your PM failed sorry. Please go with either ICAA or CPA as either Accountant or External Auditor (I assessed as both) and go very far away from vetassess. Calculate your points and aim for 20 points in English though I dont know how old you are. I hope this helps a little. quote author=area74 post=61788936]Senior colleagues |
