Thank you @justwise for the response but unfortunately I can not sit for the correct test because without my passport which I submitted with the application I cannot write the test. The only option is the UK NARIC. To get transcript is a problem because schools only forward the transcripts to schools not individuals and I need the transcripts for upload on the UK Naric site for them to process it. I just don't know what to do now whether to apply with statement of results only?

Apart from your transcript, UK NARIC will also ask for letter of proficiency in English from your school Registrar's office.

Morning,
please when reapplying for a spousal visa after an initial refusal.
do I tick yes for the question below
'
"Have you made an application to the Home Office to remain in the UK in the last 10 years?"

Also please when reapplying, apart from updating bank statements and payslips. can i just resubmit the same documents? such as letter from landlords and employer even though they are dated August?

Thank you

I did on 17th of August too as the applicant. But I think you have to count the working days which won't be up to 11 week. I hope Saturdays and Sundays is inclusive.
you're on your 10th week today which is day 50, I just checked the working day calculator. And no, weekends aren't included when counting

You need to act fast, without paying the NHS health charge you are likely to be refused.

Should I wait for them to send the link to me to pay as I stated in the letter or go directly to the website and pay?

Thanks for the response. Please how long did it take to receive the transcript? And how much?
You mentioned that I have to follow up with my institution! How do I go about that? Do I have to call or go to my school again after paying them to get the transcript?
r
well mine took like 3 weeks due to followup on my part this online guys will just collect your money and make application to the school and forget it,you have to do the extra work of going to your school get in touch with this exams and record people
then you will also have to collect a letter from the school that all your learning was done in english.
that all you need then you can register and upload all this with your certificate to Naric

Thanks so much I really appreciate I will get on with this now and ask questions later and do I need to take d English test? So I can get that out of the way before the application is ready.. or what do u suggest.

I did a master’s in the uk, so I don’t need to take the test, but the test is very important. You can go the NARIC way if you have a Nigerian degree or take the IeLts life test (I think it’s called). Please scroll back 3 pages and read from there someone mentioned the tests and another mentioned the method with NARIC. Some gentle man even posted a way to get your transcrip faster if you scroll up my response a bit.

I would implore you to go back at least 10 pages from this, to see what you can gather.

Feel free to post questions, even if I might not be of much help, someone will.

Pls house, my wife is British and I plan on relocating there, does that make my application a settlement husband or is it the settlement wife pls. It's better to ask silly questions that make silly mistakes.

2) do I confirm my application after I have filled the online portal form or how do I proceed from the confirmation of my application thanks.

Re: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by Osinachi1290: 4:56pm On Oct 27, 2017
I don't think that article applies to applications from outside the UK. The British child is already settled outside the UK. Article 8 applies to families already living together that could be separated. For instance, your second stage visa application from the UK.

I can only help with your first question. The correct test for the spouse settlement visa is life skills A1. Can be taken only in Lagos and Abuja. You can register and pay online.

Remember to chose settlement - Husband or Wife
Actually we all learnt through reading up because of different circumstances relating to each applicant.
For starters as the applicant, you will need your sponsor to be earning £18600/annum if you are without child or if your child is a British citizen.
With a child it increases to £22,400 and additional £2400 for subsequent child.
Docs from Sponsor and needed by Applicant
P60 of that year
Six months account statement
Payslips
Letter from the employer on letter head signed stating the year of employment, Remuneration
Utility bills e.g.Council tax, energy
Letter from Landlord /Receipts of payment stating he/she is domiciled at the residence and permitted to live with the spouse.
Communication Proof (Phone records from service provider , WhatsApp conversations, Facebook chats, IMO e.t.c.
Original Marriage certificate (Not Nigerian local govt) Federal Marriage Registry or UK recognised.
English language Proficiency (Either IELTS life skills A or if you have a UK degree or You can process a UK NARIC assessment of your Nigerian Degree taught in English)
Original Tuberculosis Test (You can do this at IOM i.e. International Organisation for Migration)
Lots of pictures at every meeting point, marriage pictures etc.
Copies of visas stamp for all travelling to meet.
Letter from Applicants employer if employed
Bank statement( just to show you have a life)

All docs is original.
Lest I forget, docs from self employed sponsor differs a little.

The applicant doesn't need to add his or her own bank statement or letter from employer, the sponsor needs to submit all that.

Tenancy agreement is enough you don't need to add receipt of rent payment.

If you are renting 1 or two bedroom flat you don't need a letter from your landlord allowing your wife or husband to live with you, show me where that is mentioned as a requirement. You only need a letter from landlord in the case of multiple occupation accommodation
