You nailed it. I dont like defensive game at all!!!!. But imagine if we manage to get a 1-1 away draw at Barca in the semi-finals of the UCL. Mourinho can comfortably get a home 0-0 to advance. A mourihno team can never take a 5-3 lead to Monaco and crash out at the end.

When you count the number of top games Jose has won with 30% possession or less, it will be obvious that the team with more possession made more errors.

Bayern and Barca are not more successful in Cl than Liverpool, All 4 CL wins by Liverpool prior to 2005 was done with a total defensive set up. Their last triumph (2005) was done by Benitez who is not known for champagne football.

If you remove their match against group whipping boys D.kiev.
