Eterna nah 'Eternal' journeyooo. You need patience and courage. It will get there, but it becomes unsettling when you see 'useless' stocks climbing while Eterna is dancing one step forward one and half steps backward, standstill, backward and then suddenly forward grin. Normal stock dancing pattern, though.

It doesn't work that way, a stock may be good but yet the price may not fly.

The most important thing is to know how to value a stock or a company and then give room for margin of safety.
According to Peter Lynch, a 10 bagger may not enjoy price movement in 2 years and by the time market focuses and discovers the latent value in the company. A 10 bagger could be achieved in 2 months.

10 bagger occurs when the price of a stock increases 1000% within a year or less.

i thought X bagger simply means X times within any time frame

@ Pa Wumi, can you please spill the beans on the process you go through before selecting your baggers. You mention value and margin of safety?

I don't think I know how to break things down.

You can read" Beating the street" by Peter Lynch.

"One up on Walls Street" by Peter Lynch. And Google books on value investing.

You can do your analysis and yet a value stock may not move, but if the stock is giving regular dividends and the managers are retaining earnings, increasing shareholders funds , reducing costs ,expanding market share and increasing profitability. The 5 bagger or 10 bagger can happen when you least expected. Patience with the right stock selling at a discount and honest corporate managers is the secret to bountiful harvest from the stock market.

Okay, I will refresh my memory. It has been a while since I read Peter Lynch's book.
But 10 baggers were achieved in lesser time during the dot.com boom in the US.

You are right, and I am also right. A good stock selling at a discount may not increase in price for up to 5 years, but the managers are quietly creating value in the company and for the shareholders.
When the market finally identify the hidden value in the stock, it is possible to achieve a 5 bagger in 5 months from a stock that was stagnant for 5 years.

Still studying Eterna oil.

instead of trying to divert the conversation towards how to treat me, why dont you provide the evidence of purchase and prove me wrong?

you wont because you are fake. all your talk is lies.

you be like a government official wey dey catch abacha loot but when ppl say where the evidence dem keep quiet and change conversation to confuse them.

typical attitude of a political person.

divert attention towards something else while not answering the question been asked.

Mr Toyota ie owner of Elizabeth Motors. Chief Ade Ojo is a major shareholder in Eterna, Custodian and allied insurance, Meristem group and a lot of unquoted companies.

He is an honest old man, Eterna oil can be a 3 bagger or more when the coast is clear. The coast is gradually becoming clearer.
