komekn:I have asked you to list 2 DM players who you think should have been invited in his stead... rather you gave name of a winger...I want a Defensive midfielder who you think is playing better than him....and is eligible to play for us.... please....I respect you much.but your present cry...makes no sense... football is not sum of filty unrealistic theories you always use to ridicule this players and their clubs.... mind you even the English or better still brazil don't go wit this watery postulations you put up here...there are mainly illusions that don't go wit the round leather game... the guy plays regularly for his club and he is among the first and best 11 in that team... even though the league is not of top quality but he is playing and playing well.... you think every player is privilege to possess a British passport to play in the epl....late Rashidi yekini was still playing in the portuguess 2nd tier league...when he began to paint our football wit goals... you're always quick to judge this players...and that's not good...I expect much from you.... 7 Likes |

MilitaryControl: I find it incomprehensible. Although I don't think his touch is shocking but could be a lot better and his very left footed bias an issue. He spent a considerable time at Manchester City esteemed football academy. he should have learned a lot add that to the DRILLS some have mentioned the infallible Pep has been giving him. 6 Likes |

Humility017: I can make a joke out of anything, like when theGoodJoe suddenly forgot that he used to say that a coach isn't always the 'all-knowing', does that mean anything? The joke about him being on the bench was because Mujtahida assumed he started the game.....why am I going this long, Oga if you do not understand the difference between a joke and a serious comment then just face your lane and leave those who understand a joke to laugh about it. Then about Okazaki, read through the comments, there were PEOPLE saying he should start ahead of Okazaki, I don't know why you are now assuming a defensive position, I don't even know how you entered this argument now |

Humility017: Is he better than Hope Akpan, Chuks Aneke, Tega Onomah, Seyi Ojo, to start with I could have added Oviemuno Ejaria but he is undecided as far as I am concerned. But could be convinced. That's just a few in England. 2 Likes |

komekn:the later two you named...are not eligible to play for US..... they're British players... and for hope and chuks... please tell me their achievements this season....and their contributions to their team success.... we are talking of a player here wit good defensive qualities and offensive threat of good shots... let me say this without mincing words...currently he is better than both...don't forget the young man is a man city player and the reason why he is not playing in England is because of work permit rules..... 5 Likes |

komekn:This is the problem. When they say mention and you come up with British born Nigerians whose allegiance to Nigeria is either non existent or hanging by whiskers it frustrates me. Nwakali has been invited. Pronto he'd be in camp come when camp opens. If Seyi, Tega, Ejaria are invited today will it be smooth sailing? You know that saying na: a bird in hand..... 8 Likes 1 Share |

Humility017: I have no problem with you quoting me or arguing with me, where I have a problem is you jumping into something you don't understand, or you making erroneous inferences without following the argument properly. For the record I didn't say Iheanacho was bad, just that his performance today does not merit a starting shirt ahead of Okazaki, did I lie? 2 Likes |

Mickael2:who is saying you said nacho was bad...nah...probably you decoded my quote wrongly... I only added your earlier words on nacho...now being a bench warmer which you just replied to be a joke. and for your question....okazaki deserve a starting berth...and besides nacho is nt doing badly... 3 Likes |

Mujtahida: Hope Akpan has already played for Nigeria. Chuks Aneke has already indicative his desire for Nigeria. Seyi will say yes but he's recovering from injury. Onomah deh wait just like Iorfa. Ejaria is still in the infancy stage of his career I actually think he has more to learn. My first choice of all them is Chuks Aneke, is an enigma as big as he is 6.5 he's still quite fast. Technically very good Arsene Wenger likened him to Yaya Toure. |

edi287: That's not true. Playing as a AM gets you headlines however, I have watched him play DM. Very good distributor of the ball too and commands the air. Did you know that Ibe played right back at Liverpool under Brendan quite often. Yobo played his first ever game as a defender at RB for Nigeria. He was a RW at Marseille. Not all players can be pigeonholed some are equally proficient in two or three roles. |

komekn:He's too slow to play as a DM. I watched him constantly when he was on loan at Crewe. He scored 16 goals that season playing as a AM. Arsenal let him leave because they was too much competition at the AM spot and he was too slow to play as a DM. 3 Likes |

My 35. Only players who have agreed to commit to Nigeria included. i.e Dessers, Beyreuther. and Otigba. For injury concerns I MAY have to consider Azeez for J. Obi, Iorfa for Nura Modified Etebo for Kalu

Man City Loanee Kayode May Get Eleventh-Hour Call-Up To Nigeria Squad Manchester City loanee Olanrewaju Kayode may be called up to the Nigerian national team at the eleventh hour following the injuries suffered by three players initially named to the 24-man roster. Ex-Watford star Odion Ighalo has withdrawn from the squad after spraining his knee, while Gent winger Moses Simon and Trabzonspor midfielder Eddy Onazi might also be lost to injuries. Since making his competitive debut against South Africa in June, Kayode was omitted from the pool that faced Cameroon and Zambia, and was not even placed on standby for the games against Algeria and Argentina. ''Kayode may now replace Ighalo more so that Moses Simon and Onazi are huge injury doubts,'' a Super Eagles official told SCORENigeria.com.ng. After an indifferent start to his career in Spain with Girona, Kayode has impressed in his last two matches in the Spanish top-flight against Deportivo de La Coruña and Real Madrid. The former Golden Eaglets and Flying Eagles star has made ten appearances in La Liga, and has two assists to his name. Igho Kingsley source: ANS 2 Likes
