Hello, Please i need some clarifications from you. I want to do qualification assessment for my wife. I'm the principal applicant, but i need her assessment to gain more points. She has BSc in Accounting from Usman Danfodiyo University Sokoto, she's a recent graduate with no work experience. My questions are as follows: 1. Does CPA assess qualification alone, and how much do they charge for that? 2. She's a student of ICAN but not a member of any professional accounting body, does she stand any chance of getting a positive assessment? 3. Aside from her BSc transcripts, is there any other documents to be attached? Thank you in advance for your prompt response @toslad @Hephzibah @40manlappy. okdee: |

Hello, My BSc in Accounting from from Lead City university was assessed to be equivalent to an Australian Associate Degree. 1. Same price i believe $473 (AUD) 2. She will be assessed based on what she has in relation to the occupation she's assessing for. 3. I sent scanned copy of full academic transcript (4years) and certificate. Shiism1: |

I truly never knew there is an Australian Immigration thread here. You guys are doing a wonderful job.Pls, i am nw into this and got some questions: 1. If i decide to do an online certificate program been offered by an Australian Institution while still in Nigeria to boost my score; does it count? Is it recognised? 2. What is australian HND marine engineering equivalent? How much point can this fetch me? Which body does the evaluation and how do i pay. 3. I have a city & guilds certificate and also a welding cert. locally, do i need to evaluate these too? 4. Do I need to pay before submitting EOI? Thanks all. |

felinco87: I don't think your online program will give you an additional point. You must have live in Australia for the duration of the program and the program should be at least for two years. What's the title of your city and guilds certificate, is it a diploma and in what course? |

Re: General Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa Through Skilled Migration. by zibe(m): 11:07am On Nov 26, 2017 |
uchey: See below link on how to get your ICAN transcript. I'm yet to do mine though, so I'm not sure if that's how it really works. You can also place a call to them I guess. http://icanig.org/ican/article.php?id=27 |

Engineers Australia now accepts PTE-A for assessment, minimum score of 50 in each of the 4 modules. I think that's great news for those that haven't taken IELTS.

Oz18: I think you should be careful assessing for ICT Security except your work experience is in that line and you can get reference letter from work to back it up. In addition to that, since ACS will likely assess your degree to be equivalent to Australia associate degree, you will be required to have at least 4years experience to get a good outcome. I'd advice you read the requirements of that occupation well before you go ahead with it. But if your work experience is related to IT support, hardwares and installations and you are single too , you can check out Hardware Technician assessed by TRA, you will likely get your 15points for education from them, at least I'm a witness of this. Best. |

Cottyekundayo: Hmm, are you saying writing is the most difficult part of IELTS? I've written 3 mock PTE tests and my average results are: S 62 W 88 R 73 L 81. I'm confident about my writing. Please advise. |
