elfmann:I have a Bachelor degree in statistics, no Masters, exactly 1 year work experience excluding internship experience both as an accountant, no family in Canada, I haven't taken an ielts yet(I plan to, I just want to be sure I stand a chance), not a lot of savings.. Do I stand a chance of getting this? |

CassieV:Perhaps only because many more skilled workers in Nigeria are married. The application itself does not discriminate between married & single applicants 2 Likes |

Omodadi2: Okay thanks for that internship and nysc tip, I was beginning to get scared for that part too. Also pls ehn, now that I read that the proof of fund can’t be money borrowed or something like that, what if I have a sponsor cos the money in my account can’t fund the process? Can that pass for that requirement? Also shey when I get my PR eventually, then I can start thinking of registering with pebc for the licensing exams et al? Or I must have registered in the EE process? |

Sugaro: Were you officially informed you couldn't do another one or you are just assuming? Whats d reason for d 1st unsuccessful medical? Pease educate us. Since you are applying under a different prgram there's no reason why u cant walk in for a new medical. I could be wrong though. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Please my question is out of curiosity. What medical condition can render ones medical inadmissible? Someone here gave a full list awhile back but he or she stated the list was their opinion and nothing official. |

Obi1conte: An applicant may be refused on health grounds – if their condition: * is likely to be a danger to public health or public safety, or * might reasonably be expected to cause excessive demand on health or social services Conditions that are likely to be a danger to public health Active Pulmonary Tuberculosis (TB) and untreated Syphilis are considered a danger to public health. If the foreign national has either or both of these conditions, they will likely be found inadmissible on the grounds of danger to public safety, unless the foreign national is treated according to Canadian standards. Although the Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) is not considered a danger to public health, CIC is committed to public health risk mitigation, and provides foreign nationals with HIV with important information that can reduce the risk of transmission. Conditions that are likely to be a danger to public safety Health conditions that are likely to cause a danger to public safety include serious uncontrolled and/or uncontrollable mental health problems such as: * certain impulsive sociopathic behaviour disorders; * some aberrant sexual disorders such as pedophilia; * certain paranoid states or some organic brain syndromes associated with violence or risk of harm to others; * applicants with substance abuse leading to antisocial behaviours such as violence, and impaired driving; and * other types of hostile, disruptive behaviour. Hello Everyone, Compliments of the season. A Sister needs your help here. After 2 PGD programmes, my spouse and children have tried visiting during my programmes but was denied. I am tired of living without my family. I have a 3yrs work permit running but my visa has expired. I want to renew my visa and if possible apply for them. Please what do I apply for ? 1. Work permit for spouse +visiting my son.+ Visiting for myself. 2. Visiting for all. 3.visiting for self and my son and later work permit for spouse. 4, PR straight for myself or for all . Kindly advise Thanks for your prompt response and God bless you. |
