My baby was four months too when we started creche so I will answer according to my knowledge.

1. Regular shorts and shirts were what I wore her and I put two clothe changes.

2. I packed 5feeding bottles, I feeding bottle for water, 5bibs and 5 handkerchiefs, one for each fees so nobody is washing and reusing anything for her. It's stressful washing these everyday but at least you know that what they are using for her is neat.

3. I sterilize the bottles everyday by myself. Creche only rinse the bottles so the smell of milk does not stay in them. I wash Every Thing and sterilize when I get home.

1. What is the appropriate wear for creche for a 4months old? Is bodysuit okay? Or regular shorts and shirts i.e. outing clothes? How many changes of clothes should be packed?

2. How many feeding bottles can I pack? Since they'll make the formula when he needs it? Right now we do 150ml formula after morning bath then breastfeeding through out the day on demand .. how many formula feeding do I pack until 5pm?

3. I sterilize using Milton tablet in a bucket of water; how can dat work with creche? Except I remove the bottles from the water and keep unsterilized in his diaper bag?

Symptoms of teething? I don't know sha o. I don't know if my baby presented any symptoms though. Was cleaning her mouth one day and felt something sharp and two days later, see teeth then people started saying that the severe stooling she had few weeks before was because of teething but me no believe sha. Anyways, I did not give anything sha. My mom bought teething powder, gbomoro and Piccan which are all cooling in my baby's wardrobe. We have not taken anything whatsoever for teething and she is doing perfectly fine.

Put it on her bib or around where she puts her head. Not directly on her body. You can also use it to steam her before her bath

Happymama,yes i used 2 bottles of spirit first then chlorxy gel for a period of 20 daysoo but the chord didnt fall off.last last on the 21st day we went back to the hospital and a matron brought close up toothpaste(specialist hospital),rubbed on it and 3 hrs later while i wanted to change his diaper ,the cord fell out.

Yes i was dumbfounded cos i refused at first but when i confirmed from some mamas here i told her to go ahead.

Apparently,my son is one of the small% with thick unflinching chords

I am not saying spirit is not effective and safe. I am just saying what i was told at the hospital and it worked for me and baby never got an infection.
When i was told this, i had to talk to my sis who is a medical doctor and a mother of 4 and she told me they use methylated spirit and was laughing saying all this oyinbo and the way they do there things self and ask me to do as i was told and showed at the hospital.
I also went to google and saw that they are dispensing the use of spirit and that was when i was calm about it.
I did as i was told and like i said earlier, it healed very well and no infection as long as u keep the place dry and clean it during every diaper change.
I just got this from babycenter "Don't use alcohol to clean the stump. The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) used to recommend cleaning the base of the stump daily with a cotton swab dipped in rubbing alcohol. But researchers have found that untreated cords heal faster than alcohol-swabbed cords and carry no more risk of infection, so the AAP changed its recommendation"

For the yoruba mothers here, does "eela" (I don't know the English word) cause babies not to grow, loosing weight. I mean the eela that has been in the baby body for long without the parent noticing.?

Well I pack 2 extra although he typically uses 1. The other one is incase of poo/food accidents

For the expressed milk only put the quantity he can finish at once in a bottle. If that 250ml is 2 feeds then separate it. You want to ensure as minimal contact with your baby's food as possible

My Dr told me to wait till a year if I wanted a VBAC, I will suggest you call your Dr if you still have his /her contact to confirm ok.

When I used it for my baby, it made the blocked nostrils more severe. Maybe I poured plenty, I don't know sha. Just be careful with the quantity you pour.
