elpriest: The issue of traveling with your spouse is obviously an error. The main reason for the refusal is your bank account statement. The ECO discovered that as at 20/11/2017 your account balance was as low as stated, but rises to N1.9M in just 16 days given that you submitted your application on 6 Dec 2017. This is unexplainable since your salary is about N165K per month. Did you explained in a cover note any lodgement that might have been suspicious? |

@Justwise we don't share the profit, its acccumulating and growin the business more.. dats y i choose to use the account as sponsor... as u av said dat this cant be used.. can i go ahead and use a different statement frm anoda sponsor? |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by justwise(m): 5:31pm On Jan 07, 2018 |
Afolayanbdn: The ability to sponsor the trip personally gives you a stronger tie to Nigeria, so the moment you get a 3rd party involved as a sponsor you are basically saying that you don't have money for the holiday which makes it difficult for you to get a visa |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by justwise(m): 5:33pm On Jan 07, 2018 |
Graceland123: There is nothing you can do about this, it's not even a month since you made the application, I think you are panicking too soon. |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by elpriest: 7:40am On Jan 08, 2018 |
ekpotek: Yes significant amount or suspicious payment was made into the account and the reason was quite explained. It was the rent payment from our family estate, alongside the payment receipt. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by elpriest: 7:51am On Jan 08, 2018 |
justwise: 1. I can't remember the figure now please. Meanwhile the money I planned spending on the trip is basically from the rent received 2. Yes I made a significant pay into the account. The sum of N2m was paid as the rent payment from our family estate 3. Yes , rent from our family estate. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by ekpotek: 8:21am On Jan 08, 2018 |
elpriest: Okay. Did you provide documentation concerning the family estate such as the land documents, agreements that rent should paid into your account etc. The evidence of rent payment receipts and the explaination was not enough. If you are collecting rent on any landed property, you need to provide documentation to show the owner of property and even the value. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by elpriest: 9:33am On Jan 08, 2018 |
ekpotek: Well the things I did was that i provided the evidence of the payment, because the estate is for the family. After they have collected the rent, every member of the family gets share. So I provided evidence of my share. I m not in custody of the documents. |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by ekpotek: 11:56am On Jan 08, 2018 |
elpriest: There is no way an eagle eyed ECO will believed your explanation and mere rent receipts in the absence of the property documents. To re apply and convinvce the ECO. Include the house documents, or documents of your share of inheritance with regarding the estate dully notarize, letter of authorization from other family members that rent should be paid to your account. These documents will serve as support for any explaining to the ECO and clear all the doubts. |

I have refuse your application for a ten day visit visa i am not satisfied that you meet the requirements of paragraphs v4.2(a) and (c) of appendix v: immigration rules for visitors because: 1. You have applied for a visa to visit the United Kingdom as a visitor for a ten days tourism. 2. You state that you are employed by ************ in ***department where you earn NGN 220,000 (£453 at the oanda rate) per month net of tax and that you have no other income. 2. In support of your application, you have provided two bank statements: a UBA bank statement showing a balance NGN 201,106 (£414) on 20/11/17 and Gtbank statement for account number *******6 showing your salary deposits and a balance of NGN 12,276,764 on 27/11/17. 3. You state that your holiday budget is 3,125. That sum is equal to your salary for over six months a. It is not credible that you would consider spending such an amount on no more than a ten day visit to the UK traveling alone and where you state that you know no one. 4. Given the foregoing, I am not satisfied that you are genuinely seeking entry to the UK for a limited period as stated by you, not exceeding six months. Your application has therefore been refused under paragraph v4.2(a)&(c) of appendix V of the immigrant ion rules. Future application Any future UK visa applications you make will be considered on their individual merits, however you are likely to be refused unless the circumstances of your application change. In relation to this decision there is no right to appeal or high to administration review. Pls guys take a good look at this matter and give your verdict.... there so called paragraphs 4.2(a)&(c) state as follow: V 4.2 The applicant must satisfy the decision maker that they are a genuine visitor. This means that the applicant: (a) will leave the UK at the end of their visit; and (c) is genuinely seeking entry for a purpose that is permitted by the visitor routes (these are listed in Appendices 3, 4 and 5); and The main reason I’m posting this is to let you guys know that: they think everyone applying for an entry to their country will not leave..I have no intention to stay in UK. I have my marriage coming up in April here in Nigeria. Why do they think someone like me will leave my country Nigeria and stay over there and will be hiding from immigrantion officer when I have freedom to move to anywhere in my country and west africa country without stress. You guys should leave UK Embasy alone.. they are just accumulating your money. Very soon they will be begging Nigerians to apply for free.. God bless Nigeria and Africa. 3 Likes 1 Share |

elpriest: It is not as simple as you think it is,if care is not taken you might have been banned for documents falsification,if truly your account balance at the point of confirmation reads #1,324 as been alluded to by you here and there is no evidence that bulk of that money moved from your account.....it is no longer an issue of opinion,it is a matter of fact been backed u with evidence on their side. if all the reasons mentioned for denial are just their own fabrication, you have a right to address that Asap before your name is blacklist |

Good day house and happy new year to every one. Well my wife's application was refused and she has no right to appeal nor request for an administrative review. It is also stated that her circumstances must change or she will be refused if we reapply. My question is how do they expect it to change? She stopped working years ago and has been a home maker ever since with some small small side business. Is she now expected to go get a job even though I can sponsor her? The kids British Passports(copies) and documents from their school were sent forward for their perusal yet they say she did'nt state what the kids are doing there. Our gurus, please take a look at the refusal letter and advise abeg!!

@Justwise, happy New year. Been mentioning your name on the spouse thread uk not knowing you were active here. Please I have the following questions: I am applying for my one year old child, do I have to make a separate application for her? Secondly how do I link our applications together as a group? Checked tls website but couldn't find it. Thirdly, for a tier 2 visa, how do I pay for priority in Lagos ? Anybody with information should let me know please. Thanks |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by justwise(m): 9:03pm On Jan 08, 2018 |
cindylee: Yes you apply separately and submit both at the same time because I don't think you can link it. Check the embassy website for info about how to pay priority service 1 Like |

Goodmorning. Pls is it advisable to book an hostel or shared bathroom for 5day visit? Won't this make a negative impression on the VO? 2. Does US share data with UK. The question in the form where it's asked if you have been denied visa to any country. My friend feels it's not necessary to say she hasn't been denied. I feel it's right to say the truth that she has been denied. 3. The question: do you have another income or any saving, my friend has another small business apart ftom her constant salary. its not registered and money isn't constant and the closing balance can't even be up to 100k. Can she answer this as savings or other income? Pls help. @justwise |
