You be goat,to criticize naija players no dey hard una,how many match ihenancho has played that you want him to prove him self?someone that doesn't leave the bench at times?how you take dey watch your ball, abeg guy you too mumu,in this current market you call 25 million high price tag,I don't think you watch football but rugby, ihenancho wey most of him games na 10 min and 5 min,you want make him use am score goals, morata wey dem buy 75 million has he prove him self or lukaku? See salah wey dey cheaper dey bang goals anyhow, you guys should stop the jealousy on iheanacho and get a life

I am quite certain you can address him without the insults.

Do you know why Chelsea spent big money on Morata? Because he scored up to 10league goals for Madrid almost exclusively from the bench. How many african players are worth more than 20million? Ndidi wasn't even close to that so relatively it is big money, and for a club like Leicester, it is super big money.

What does it mean to take your chances? Not too long ago Traore would enter games with 10mins left(for Chelsea) and make enough impact, seasons later he is at Marsielle, easily one of their best players. You don't always get 90mins or even 45mins to prove yourself and it isn't exclusive to Iheanacho alone. He needs to be work hard to the point that even when he gets 10mins he would put in enough that would convince them to give him 20mins the next weekend, from 20 we get to 30 and so on and so forth, that's the progress we need in the Epl

Omo, I don't recall ever saying that Nacho is better than Suarez. And there's no way I would say that ... Luis Suarez may be having a slump, by his very high standard, but he's a world class striker.

As concerns to Nacho vs Vardy. Yes, Nacho brings more to the table than Vardy. Vardy is all speed and nothing else. He can hardly dribble to save his life and how old is he again? 33?? 'nuff said!

O pari

Mickael2:

so Nacho is better than Vardy? Then again you were also the same guy that said that Nacho can be starting for Barca because he is better than Suarez right?

Mr sentiment Mr iheanacho hater,Good point, morata scored 10 Laliga goals from the bench, and he also started some games, getting into the games from the bench around 60 min or 65,Chelsea over paid for morata because he is a Madrid player and they see him as world class and he is average,But you have forgotten so soon who has the best minute goal ratio in the premier league is iheanacho getting into games mostly 80 minute, iheanacho played 46 premier league games and got 12 goals for mancity, you have no clue man you are a hater quit hating, iheanacho has played only 9 premier league games and only 1 start then the rest are few minute sub and you want him to score goals ? You are the biggest joke I have ever seen ,so many kids here on nairaland ,lol betrand traore 10 premier league games and 2 goals in 3 seasons,I repeat my self you are a joke and you know nothing all you in you is hate,it seems you are a Chelsea fan,if so you are a plastic fan with sentiment

What matters is that he keeps working hard in training. He can not force himself on the coach and there is no guarantee the next club will guarantee playing time because it is a loan deal.

Puel confirmed Nacho is working hard and I saw improvements in the last game Nacho played.

As long as he keeps himself in top condition, he will be okay. He might work his way into the team of Leicester City.

https://www.nairaland.com/3018619/super-eagles-thread-russia-2018/2452#63634009

My comment in 26th December for those trying to spread a false idea that I was against Nacho staying at Leicester City. The comment shows my stance. I am against a rushed loan deal just for playing time but will wholeheartedly support a move to Bristol City. My support is because the manager of Bristol City stands for attacking football which will suit the ability of Nacho.

Finito.

Dont be surprised, almost all referees in Nigeria are educated.

And it's a must you have a job before you can be a ref in Nigeria. Minimum is to be a student.

Lastly, we have doctors, lawyers, politicians, teachers, lecturers, pastors, fathers, police men.and.women, naval officers, soldiers etc as referees in naija.

They are not people suffering.

it baffles me how you talk sometimes...
making reference to traore is quite funny...
can you compare goal scoring chances created by Chelsea in a match to that of leicester?
moreover when nancho was in a team that creates better goal scoring opportunities he scored even more goals and created a record in the epl as a player wit highest number of goals by per minutes ratio...a record troare never dare creates despite the huge goal scoring opportunities Chelsea creates...in his time...

in his sojourn in Ajax now Marseille he has never been short of game time...so why won't he deliver....?
even the Manchester prodigy who left for Lyon have been profilic in the French League likewise the erstwhile Chelsea (falcao) and man city (balotelli)

I congratulated Funke. In fact, when some were trying to play down on its achievement at the time, I had to remind them that Avengers:Infinity war will be one of 2018's best and most profitable movies financially at the box office, so being part of a project like that even as a cameo background character is quite an attainment.

But now you speak of Nacho - Kayode.... please who castigated Kayode because of Nacho's performance yesterday? I think I only saw one moniker who did so.... Realpoacher. The guy is one that I know mentioned Kayode and to me, I was like... "not again sad "

But who else Elder Kog45 because I fear your accusation on guys who stand up for Nacho is totally misplaced.

Iheanacho is the most vilified and most castigated player on this thread and in NL as a whole. The boy is almost always being put down by a host of people who feel he can easily be replaced despite his good run of form and records for the Super Eagles.

And please don't forget where all this nacho-kayode comparison began. It began with Egbon Forgiveness... (Ehmmmm... Egbon Sir Forgiveness... abeg no vex... I just wan make point okay. Hope say u dey okay. I never see you for a while now sef.)

Now, Egbon Forgiveness started it as a way of showing all that Nacho can be replaced and by who? Well , he brought up Solanke and then later Kayode as better options upfront.

Now before this, There was no issues with anyone being tribalistic as regards showing support and love to one of Nigeria's Golden boys , Kelechi Iheanacho (take or leave it, you know he is one of Nigeria's most beloved players thus must also have the highest no. of critics).

But when Egbon Forgiveness brought up this issue and was always persistent with it as regards Nacho being trash upfront and brimimg up Kayode or solanke (way back then) as a better option, that was when people like me had to step in and try to balance things by saying that he should not rubbish Nacho just because he wants to make a case for Kayode or any other. That it is not fair and it is unhealthy.

Others got into the mix of the arguments too and as usual a mentality was formed for most. Someone even called Nacho useless as a no.9 (Sir Goldfish80 to be precise). Sir Goldfish80 also went on to make the bold prediction that Kayode will soon bang his first LA liga goal soon enough based on his attitude and dare. He said that as a way of saying Kayode will even get a league goal in Spain before Nacho. Look... guys, I don't forget things oooo... I watch and I take note.

Now because of all these... it is not surprising to see someone like Realpoacher always on Goldfish80's and Mickael2's cases... but I must use this opportunity to finally call him out. Omo Sir Realpoacher... Abeg. even if you must tackle or oppose their views, don't do it in a manner that defames their character biko. Those guys are valuable members of the thread and have been here long enough before you showed up. So please accord them that respect even if you must oppose okay. Thanks man. smiley

Now back to the matter of tribalism.... elder kog 45.

It is not as if anyone wants Kayode to fail just to prove a point. Nope... because from all I have observed so far, na only Realpoacher call out Kayode and obviously becos Kayode is always being used by Egbon Forgiveness and the other Nacho critics to run down Nacho and make him look like a lost cause.

So this is the true angle. I do not support running down of any player to uplift another. Nooooooo.... but I pray that all desist from using a player to run down another. If you must castigate a player, then do so with care and love and not with pull down mentality.

Iheanacho, it is not his fault that he is well loved in Nigeria and as well have more critics. It is obvious... he is one of our golden boys. See the views this thread got just because Nacho was in action and reviews of his performance were coming left, right and centre... iwobi, moses, and even Ndidi have never garnered such views like Nacho on this thread. Only Mikel rivals Nacho for such views sef but Nacho still edges slightly.

You cannot accuse people who speak up for Nacho for tribalism becos from my observation, guys here who speak up for him and won't go down hard on him in a near destructive manner like The critics do cut across the length and breadth of Nigeria. All major tribes represented here have guys and laides who will speak up for Nacho. So the point of tribalism is absurd.

Like I said, there was never a debate on players comparison until Egbon Forgiveness brought that in. So when people speak up for Nacho, it is to counter what Forgiveness have said to rubbish Nacho and praise Kayode or Solanke. That is the gospel truth.
And it also leads to a psychological reaction to always praise Nacho's good moments in order to drown the earlier opinions of Nacho being trash and way below Kayode and Solanke.

Egbon Forgiveness started the comparison and players rubbishing. He started that and we all cannot deny it if we are truthful but then I feel he was just doing it in the way he understood. He may not change but I have learnt to avoid towing that line with him now coz I am focused on the bigger picture. But what I have outlined is the truth. Showing Love and support for Nacho is not a case of tribalism but rather a case of a psychological defensive reaction against repeated comments washing down Nacho and making Kayode and Solanke gods over him in terms of talent and potentials.

Biko... I know the tides here so I won't lie. Let us be careful and wish all our players well. But don't expect a handshake when you bash one of our best Players in the GWG in order to praise another GWG player who is still seen as a fringe player in the team. Kayode for now is a fringe player and one of our own. He is a very fine player but for the team's sake, he is behind Nacho in the pecking order. Bashing Nacho so that you can make a case for Kayode will only lead to people defending Nacho's relevance and pointing to Nacho's records for us and if you are not observant and careful, you will think it is tribalism.

I repeat, defending or being happy for Nacho is not tribalism. It is only because he has been much vilified and insulted here and overly castigated. Itz a simpu sturvs rily.... wink

You have stated the very obvious truth.

Good one.

It is not pessimism. I have followed the Nigerian league for almost 27 years. I have seen these things happen several times. Even last year, we saw a lot of dubious decisions.

The league has started relatively well, long may it continue.

Itz a simpu sturvs rily.... wink

It always starts well, home teams become desperate during the closing weeks, not this early.

Inexperienced clubsides misbehave in the early stages, the end up as scapegoats to the authority. If you've been following the league closely, you should have understood this pattern
tbaba1234:

It is not pessimism. I have followed the Nigerian league for almost 27 years. I have seen these things happen several times. Even last year, we saw a lot of dubious decisions.

The league has started relatively well, long may it continue.

Wait till the second half of the season to see real desperation by home teams!

Normally, if Musa status doesn't change at Leicester, he might not be at d world cup, though it would b a very diff decision
provided he keeps getting game time wit leicester under 23 team...I am okay wit him.

after all the reason we want him play is to keep fit...since he happen to be doing that wit the elite team I am okay....

he is someone we will need in Russia....
