Janecanal4: I am not sure you can be the principal applicant. You will have to go through AHPRA and ANMAC registration first, which is a long rope, before you can starts the process. |

stickaman04: DIBP might ask for your NYSC cert but it matters not. Your story is not cooked. I had a 2 months overlap changing from one job to the other because I used my leave arrears of about 2 months as my notice period. So I had already started working in my new organization before my official exit date from my previous job. Both EA and DIBP had no issues with this. State your case as it is. Some claim experience even before, during and after NYSC. |

Zianluv234: Read pages 0 to 5 at least, then ask your questions. Give more details about the other factors considered. Share your own qualification too. |

Omooloriredade: bro, i dnt understand wat u mean by my story is nt cooked. ok, this is it, i want to claim 3 yrs experience, some pipu r saying DIBP reduces yrs of work experience at dia own discretion. so i want to back date my experience to some months back. so i just want to knw if it is going to b a problem since de new date of starting work will b bfor my POP. just want to knw if DIBP will only consider work experience started only after passin out?pls clarify me on this |

stickaman04: Lol. English dribbling me since 1801. Not cooked up just to beat DIBP. It is verifiable. It actually happened. Have you completed assessment? Did your assessing authority reduce your years of experience? If not, you have nothing to worry about so long you have adequate and convincing documents to back up your experience claim. NYSC not the determinant or reference here. |

Omooloriredade: lol, thankss bro. i hv nt done assessment yet oooo, just scared from wat some pipu r saying, dat DIBP reduces ur experience for no reason. dat it is at dia discretion to do so. thanks all de way. |

Dear, Thank you for your application for Victorian Government nomination under the 190 - Skilled Nominated visa scheme. Following a review of your application, we regret to inform you that you have not been selected for visa nomination by the Victorian Government. . . . . . Moving on to giving IELTS another shot. Re: General Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa Through Skilled Migration. by trastar(f): 7:25am On Jan 22, 2018 |
stickaman04: It's not DIPB that reduces your years of experience. It's assessment bodies. Intact, if you can back it up, u can claim years of experience reduced with DIPB according to recent news. Also, nothing concern DIPB with NYSC. People claim points sef for work done during NYSC. No one is asking you for NYSC certificate. |

BTW, has anyone on this forum been able to get nominated by the Tasmania Government? How much of financial asset did such declare? How much was the liquid cash savings? They don't have any leads on this on their site. Can one apply cash requirements of other states, say QLD to TAS? |

Hello everyone, I will really appreciate if i can be guided on the next step to take. I am currently studying Master of Professional Accounting @ ECU, Perth at the moment, so i decided to take another IELTS in order to change my course and i got 8.5 with minimum band 8.0 ( that's 20points) giving me a total point of 65 with my age and degree. This prompted me to try my luck with PR and all my research has even confused me further. My challenge is this: i don't know the appropriate occupation to nominate because i currently have BSc Geography from OAU and the only experience i have is in Banking (3yrs). The only related course to Geography on the list is "Cartographer" however VETASSES website states that atleast one year experience is required. Please, i am open to any suggestion. Thank you |

koleefem05: Bro why waste time on IELTS when you see alot of persons smashing PTE? People hardly get 8 across all bands in IELTS. If you must try again, pls go for PTE. Don't waste your time on IELTS. |
Re: General Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa Through Skilled Migration. by Nobody: 9:22am On Jan 22, 2018 |
Mcslize:Lols...thanks man. Appreciate your concern. I’m doing both Canny and Aussie PR...so IELTS is cost effective for me. I already have 10 points with IELTS and 0 points with PTE. I guess I’ll do better in IELTS than PTE. |

koleefem05: I see.. For reasons I don't know, for some occupations, Victoria will not issue nomination with anyone having experience less than 5yrs. I want to believe it is the reason for the rejection. |
Re: General Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa Through Skilled Migration. by Nobody: 10:24am On Jan 22, 2018 |
bellong:I don’t think so Sir. My friend we applied together has been requested to send a commitment letter. Although he has been to Queensland and some other states in Australia. The reasons they gave are as follows: “Your application for Victorian Government state nomination was reviewed individually and assessed with a focus on your ability to address a number of criteria, including: your ability to meet the minimum eligibility criteria, the demand for your particular skills and expertise, and your ability to find work in Victoria, the suitability and transferability of your qualifications, skills and experience – including any specialist capabilities – to the needs of Victoria’s labour market, your ability and commitment to establishing yourself, and any dependents, in Victoria the number of nomination applications received relative to the number of nomination places available for your occupation.” I also know of someone who got their nomination with the same years of experience last year when all was well. Thanks for your concern boss. Appreciate you always. |
