All media outlets throw rumors around and even BBC at some point towed the line of Mkhitaryan + cash offer as did skysports.com however, one thing they make known to readers is that it is rumors or they quote the source...

I only know it's serious when they quote sky sources...

That a news site post a rumor doesn't in anyway communicate their position.
Couple of days ago someone dropped a post here from BBC and they explicitly stated it was a rumor...Don't believe everything you read, sometimes they quote dailies, like Mirror, daily mail, Independent etc

It could've made more sense if you called out journalist (s) who have been unfair in their reportage of this whole transfer saga rather can try to drag Skysports to the mud. Di Marzio works for Sky as does Balaque. It's down to the journo involved.
