There is the small issue of what constitutes bias in your opinion
I based my comment on what I read from Lucque post on three factions we have when it comes to Iheanacho issue.

Kog45, everyone have their limits, even you.
This is not the the first time I am having a debate with someone here. Have you seen me go personal or attack anyone's personality even in the face of provocation? I have always laughed and kept my cool.
The personal attacks yesterday was something that would have looked foolish if I walked away from.
Even while I was discussing football, that boy and his girlfriend took it personal. Can you imagine that brat asking my place on the food chain in comparison with my mates. A girl I can cloth and shelter asking a question she dare not ask if she met me face to face.
She made that statement and not even a a single soul called her to order.
It's all good anyway.

Baba goldfish80..no talk say not a single soul caution oda erring monikers,no smiley kog45 and oda monikers caution erring monikrrs into order but it seems, peeps don't heed to our call

Looollll..... I love Chief Icon4s' views myself because he is more conservative than I am.... smiley He knows when to criticise and when to acknowledge. His is the best in terms of balance no doubt.

But uhmmm... I saw your option A in my mention as TheGoodJoe first.... seems you just changed it to TheSupernerd now... cheesy Elder Kog45.... I catch you... scared of TheGoodJoe's legendary karate kick? grin

Anyway, What I presented yesterday were simple and undeniable facts on Nacho as a top 9 in a 4-2-3-1.... facts which some people found difficult to swallow because of pride and arrogance. What does it profit a man to stand by a defeated opinion? Why lie that Leicester didn't play 4-2-3-1 on Saturday? undecided

Why also lie that I agreed to Nacho not being a striker? Why dodge revealing the truth of what or who an SS is?

He left my football questions and tactical arguments on the truth of Nacho's role on Saturday and was taking subtle routes of insults attacking my person, my intelligence (they always do that because it bites them so much), and wait for it... my mother.

He categorically said that PietroRico was right after all to do what he did to me.... which is insulting my mother. I guess Goldfish80 is not the gentleman he portrayed himself to be after all.... sh*t happens... people's true nature are eventually revealed... and his is of cowardice for evading a simple question on what or who an SS is...and also of Lies for stating that Nacho was not the lone striker/Top 9 up top in a 4-2-3-1... he said it was a two-pronged attack with Diabate who actually played all game from the right.... Whoscored, Squawks, Goal com, FourFourTwoStats, and many more certified the fact and rebuked Goldfish80's nonsensical lie... How can we go on tolerating such lies on a football thread? Dont you know we are here to educate as well?

Many may see me as Pro-Nacho... but the truth remains that Nacho floored the "nacho is useless as a top9/Lone striker/CF" with yet another fine display in same role. And Leicester played in a 4-2-3-1 with Nacho up top... These are the simple truths that made Goldfish resort to insults and lame words trying to shift attention from football to discrediting my person... he even attacked my stand as a growing psychologist using glowing sarcastically childish terms to shift the balance of the discussion... so who started it? me? Naaahhhh... it is actually Goldfish80... he could not take it anymore... he was losing the argument and was caught in a corner but couldn't do one corner... so he had to react in the best and only way he could... Insults/Jabs... weak ones too... but then he mentioned That Insulting my mother was right afterall... backing PietriRico's actions... Yep.. that is your Goldfish80, Elder Kog45...

Funny how it had to take me to burst his limits and bubble... he had it coming. He simply boxed himself into a wall with his lies and his refusal to own up to them.

HE LIED ABOUT NACHO'S POSITION ON SATURDAY, HE LIED ABOUT THE FORMATION ALL IN A BID TO DISCREDIT NACHO AND BACK HIS COMMENT/STAND ON NACHO BEING USELESS.

He also lied about me agreeing with him... The old dude has lost it. He cannot debate fairly... he debates to win even when he is f**king and obviously wrong.

It is well shaa.... But I will always stand up for the Truth concerning any of our Super Eagles stars... Lies and half-truths about them won't be tolerated. We have a fanbase out there viewing this thread and they need to be properly informed and not lied to. Thank you. smiley

Confirmed : Las Palmas, Racing Genk Do Battle Over Signing Of Nigeria Star Etebo

Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Belgian First Division A side Racing Genk are battling their Spanish counterparts Las Palmas over the signing of Oghenekaro Etebo.

Belgian newspaper Het Laatste Nieuws first reported that Genk are hoping to complete the signing of the Nigeria international before the close of the January transfer window.

This website has gathered that C.D. Feirense are studying an offer that was faxed by Genk on Sunday but an agreement is far from being reached.

There is a four-year deal on the table waiting for Etebo to append his signature to if there's no breakdown in talks.
Ahead of the 2018 World Cup, C.D. Feirense higher-ups are only interested in negotiating a loan deal with an interested club at this stage.

And that has put Las Palmas in pole position for the services of Etebo, the Spanish club have offered him 'crazy wages' to join the club on loan until the end of the 2017-2018 season.

The 22-year-old's performance on the pitch in the first half of the season was impressive, having scored 4 goals in 17 matches in the Primeira Liga.

Chai, see as multiple pages waste on the back and forth about Iheanacho.

Chai chai chai.

BTW, the 2 names people insulted yesterday ended up scoring for us.

One more thing, imagine Salisu not picking Okpotu in the CHAN team and we end up playing the same way we have played so far, the same set of people insulting Salisu right now would still come for his head with statements like "why leave out the league's goalscorer"?

He must have collected bribe or he's tribalistic bla bla bla.

This thread has opened my eyes to how most Nigerians reason. (A good place to sample why we are who we are as Nigerians).

Well, Okpotu has already shown his weaknesses in previous games. By now, the coach should have replaced him if he had a better player

His profligacy in front of goal on another day could easily have cost us.

Why CSKA Must Complete Signing Of Musa In Next 48 Hours Despite Window Closing Feb 22

CSKA Moscow are racing against the clock to complete the signing of Leicester City striker Ahmed Musa before the close of the transfer window in England.

The Muscovites face Red Star Belgrade in the round of 32 of the Europa League, with the first leg scheduled to take place at Stadion Rajko Mitić (Beograd) on February 13.

The Nigeria international can participate in that match but his name must be added to CSKA Moscow's roster by midnight on February 1, 2018, meaning the Russian club have around two days to get the paperwork in place.

Musa's intermediary Tony Harris recently stated that he expects his client to undergo a medical today, Monday, ahead of a loan move.

The Russian transfer window 2 will remain open for business until February 22 after the UEFA deadline.
Musa played two matches for CSKA Moscow in the Europa League in his first spell with the capital outfit, against AIK Solna back in the 2012-2013 season.
The Super Eagles star has made only one appearance for the first team of Leicester City this term.

My comment is to spite you and goldfish80 and am very happy it touched you which show that you are very intelligent.

I know you are a great analyst but you need to take it softly cos your profession is for noble people and i remember in the 80s and 90s seeing a medical student is awesome just to tell you how i value you and Michael2 though football is crazy but always remember you are very important personality in the society and take it cool no matter the provocation cos there are younger ones over there looking up to you especially those who wish to become a doctor in the future.

On your mother, pls forgive and forget and move on,no need dwelling on the past, pls i beg you cos as a Christian you just don't need it.

Pls try and read Luque post that said we have three factions when it comes to Iheanacho issue but do we need to have factions when analysing our players,No but we can have different opinions which must be respected.

Nigerian Passport Stops Jerry Mbakogu From Joining Leeds, Pledges Future To Super Eagles

The proposed move of Carpi striker Jerry Mbakogu to EFL Championship outfit Leeds United will not happen in the January transfer window.
Transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio writes on his website that the Lagos-born striker is not in the possession of an Italian passport, a prerequisite for him to play in the United Kingdom.

Thus, Leeds United can only sign Mbakogu in the summer transfer window, or have to increase the transfer fee to around 12 million euros before acquiring him this month, which is not the case now.

Meanwhile, the 25-year-old earlier informed allnigeriasoccer.com that his international future lies with the Super Eagles despite the fact he would become eligible to represent the Italian national team in the near future.

''I am 100 percent Nigerian, though I have been in Italy for long now and my life is here,'' said Jerry Mbakogu to allnigeriasoccer.com .

''Sincerely, I have not been thinking much on the national team, I have been working hard to make my future.

''As a Nigerian though, I'd like to play for my country, I grew up in Lagos and left when I was 12.''

Mbakogu tallied his eighth goal of the season across all competitions in front of Leeds United scouts on Saturday, January 27.

True... entertainment. I enjoy that side of the beautiful game too but to some also it is inspiration, to some more it is like a medicine to heal their doubts... and yet to some others it is a soothing balm to make them forget their struggles and sorrows... that pride in seeing one's country win and triumph. You understand what I am saying Sir...

Also... Football is big big business... surely must be serious too.

As for Personal insults, well they are begat when and by people (who) no longer see the validity of their stand. People who are scared to lose arguments for reasons best known to them and known by some outside them too. They always start to throw tantrums... in subtle and apparent forms. That is what played out here not long ago when I presented a simple fact to one of us. smiley

Football is indeed a serious sport for many reasons. Not only footballers make money out of it. Football employs all kinds of professionals like IT analysts, Doctors, Financial accountants, Counsellors, Physiotherapists and many many more... It is serious. Very serious in fact. wink

Sunday Faleye out of 2018 CHAN, elbow injury sidelines him for 4 weeks

Sunday Faleye has told SCORENigeria he will play no more part in the 2018 CHAN in Morocco after he dislocated his elbow against Angola and has been ruled out of action for 4 weeks.
Faleye landed badly on his hand and was later forced out of the CHAN quarterfinal against Angola in the 59th minute yesterday in Tangier.

“I have been ruled out of the rest of the tournament because of
my injury,” he told SCORENigeria

“The doctor said I will be out for a month.”
The 19-year-old winger started the Eagles first four matches and was the match winner against Libya in a crucial group game.

How far can CHAN Eagles wobble and fumble?

The flaws in this CHAN Eagles are alarming. A lot of questions hanging on the competence of the coaches. I don’t want to dwell on the players’ shortcomings. Much said already. But those who file them out should get some knocks.

I was utterly embarrassed seeing Mano carve our defence open at will. I studied this team during the group stage and identified him as their go-to guy, alongside Job. I expected Salisu Yusuf and his assitants to do the needful and keep him quiet.

But there was no conscious effort to stop him. There was no perceived effort to detail specific players with that assignment. Even if no particular player was put on him, there should have been a ploy to stiffen him by, perhaps having more personnel in middle of the park to starve the opposition of possession and cut his supplier.

I just get this feeling that these boys were just pushed out there. No effort to do things differently. I get the impression of a poorly guided team.

*What Angola will bring against Eagles

I knew the Angolans are profligate in front of goal. If you read my scouting report again, you will observe I pointed out that their conversion rate is low compared to their possession-based game. They didn’t disappoint me. They should have taken that game far beyond the Eagles long before the equaliser came. Va isn’t just potent enough.

Then we had an inspired goalkeeper who kept us in the game. This result is flattering.

You remember when Thijs Libregts was sent on a rescue mission to the U20 team at Nigeria 99? After the wobbling and fumbling team was bundled out by Mali in the quarter-final, Libtegts had exclaimed; “the disease killed the patient”.

This team is ill. We hope the disease doesn’t ultimately kill it. If this patient dies, some of us won’t be surprised. We are merely praying for some form of miraculous healing.

Let’s be FRANK…This team hasn’t shown what it takes to weather the storms now that the jungle has really matured.

Sudan is waiting just as a potential final against the hosts.
It takes more than trial and error to nick the ultimate prize. Those boys need proper GUIDANCE…

Friday Elaho came into well recognised limelight during afcon 90,very skillful and wonderful winger who fall out with Westerhoff cos of contract issue and Amuneke seized the opportunity.

He played together with Uche Okechukwu at Brondby in Denmark but did not have it smooth after Brondby. Now retired and run his things around Lagos axis.

You still don't get, that Okpotu hasnt been scoring as expected doesn't change the fact that he's last season's HGS, so how do you expect the coach to replace him?

Secondly, who's the "better" player on the team list he should be replaced with?

tbaba1234:

Well, Okpotu has already shown his weaknesses in previous games. By now, the coach should have replaced him if he had a better player

His profligacy in front of goal on another day could easily have cost us.

Done Deal – Leeds United Snap Up Super Eagles Hopeful Jerry Mbakogu From Italian Side Carpi

According to respected football transfer guru Gianluca Di Marzio, Leeds United have reached an agreement with Serie B side Carpi for the signing of Nigerian forward Jerry Mbakogu.
Leeds United reportedly paid £3.5m for the service of the forward who had an unhappy loan spell in Russia last season with Russian side Krylia Sovetov, before returning to Carpi this season.
This season he has found the back of the net five time in 17 games, and overall he has 36 goals for Carpi in 124 games since joining the team in 2013 from Padova. He is presently contracted to Carpi till 2020.

The issue of work permit won’t pose any difficulties as he presently holds an Italian passport , and according to Di Marzio, a medical would be done in few days time.

Three years ago, he was linked with a possible call up to the senior national team of Nigeria after his goals lifted Serie B side Carpi to promotion to the Serie A.

The 19-year-old winger started the Eagles first four matches and was the match winner against Libya in a crucial group game.

when i saw the fall, i thot he had broken his arm. Then the medics bound up the hand and sent him back into the fray. i was like....can anyone play with a broken hand... Even with a dislocation, i dont think it was right to keep playing him.

Ok. That was a winger. He could run with the ball on the line without conceding a throw in.

Leonardo Ulloa have joined Brighton on loan... that leaves Nacho with one less competition at Leicester. There is still Slimani, Okazaki and Vardy.

This season, the Nigerian has so far distinguished himself for Feirense woth four goals to his name from 18 games , and presently the top scorer for his team.
