Hahaha, I don't trust untested professionals. In any field of endeavor. And football is not an exception. Worse still the goal keeping position.

Would you be comfortable if a major surgical operation is to be carried out on you by a medical student?

TRUST is the key word here.
Of course Sir, in every field of endeavour experience is just too important. I know that too well. It's not for nothing that experience is said to be the best teacher.

But we should start giving our players who show ability the necessary exposure at a young age so that they can acquire experience while still young. Abi how do you see that?

I agree with this. This is why Maduka stands a better chance than Alampasu even in the realm of "outside chances".

tbaba1234:

Yes..

You can not beat playing regularly.

Maduka trains with the first team regularly. Infact, he was one of the keepers that went with the first team players to their winter camp. He has also made the bench for the team A.

The difference is that he is constantly playing, you can't beat that.

There are rumors Wanda cheated on him recently with an Inter player.

Oh God... What Icardi and Wanda first did was Crazy... But now this??
If this is true then Wanda is the real "MVP" and not Icardi... Sorry I guess that is my way of calling her actions gross and sick...

This kinda talk just gives one a headache...

OK sir you are on point at least Maduka is playing constantly with U 18 youth team and Alampasu is just training with team A.

It's a pity we find ourselves in this serious mess, considering very lower leagues keepers for Eagles.

I don't rate Uzoho, Alampasu and Maduka but what do we do when keeper like Akpeyi is not convincing.

Eagles don suffer regard goalkeeping.

Good luck to the team

So also do I like good football. I am an Arsenal and a Barcelona fan. You know what that implies. But I will never wish to see our opponent play good football if they are playing against us.

If our opponents play good football then our team should play better football and if our team plays bad football then our opponents should play worse football. That is always my wish.

Which Success was looking slim and fit?? I thought he was doing well till he was subbed. He should’ve gotten a penalty there. Malaga is a very horrible team. They are so incoherent and predicatable when they get the ball. Poor passes, lots of backward passes to the goal keeper due to pressure and lack of ideas and creativity...then gk kicks the ball high in the air back to the opponents and the cycle continues. Ideye lacks support.

Malaga team is very bad and yes Success was doing well. I wonder why he was subbed. He was the only one in the attack brave enough to take on the defenders but he need to work on himself. He fell too easily a number of times and he should be playing a lot better.

He had some poor first touches, passes and poor crosses.

Oga sir no vex.
But we are too fast to read meanings into people’s actions. You are speaking of “let be truth be told”, when you have not gotten all the information.
Truth cannot be told without full insight. You have to get the information first before u can make a clear judgement.

Rohr is the coach. Even at the moment he can rate some keepers higher than the others. It’s his job to make judgements like that.

Kog45:
How does forgiveness talk?

If i may ask are you saying it's good to send trainer to Maduka and leave Alampasu out,on what criteria.

Good that Rohr has finally come out to make it cleared that all his five keepers will have trainer attached to them.

But i hate it when people read meaning to a very clear and simple comment.

I think am one of the moniker including goldfish80 and icon4s who always question Alampasu inclusion in the team and i remember Thegoodjoe always defend Alampasu.

But when truth need to be told we must say it without fear cos attaching trainer to Uzoho and Maduka alone is unfair to other keepers and it can cause acrimony in the team, thank God Rohr has made a bold statement towards the issue.

Pls how does i sound like forgiveness or how does forgiveness talk, pls i want to know.....

It’s okay to question it, but not make a conclusion without getting all the info.

Modified
He had said it was unfair to Alampasu

Icon4s:

Not that I am pushing for Alampasu but one asking why he was initially left out in the assignment of a trainer is not out of place.

Thank God Rohr has cleared out that area.

Bros the way u talk am, it's like nothing de there being that you tagged it as GF. My guy that was a whole wife he snatched. That's big bro! And Maxi Lopez and Messi are super close from their days at Barca. Although Messi denies it, even the blind can tell that he's got a lot to do with Icardi's non-invites... Recently though, I dunno if Messi's mind has changed recently cos Icardi was invited for the recent Russia and Nigeria friendlies but Icardi pulled out for some reasons.

Danielnino00:

I don't think Icardi has been invited to d Argentina national team for 3 years now... Rumour has it that Messi is behind it.. Cus Icardi dated Maxi Lopez's ex girlfriend...

Onazi would not start from the bench in Russia. I don't care if they invite 2m Joel Obi's. The way we play with our quick transitions, Onazi is a big part cos he releases the ball very fast and with precision. Sometimes, the passes may not be accurate. But once he releases the ball accurately there's this kinda speed and transition everyone assumes with the exception of Mikel. I'm telling you guys to start eliminating these thoughts of Mikel to CM or DM and Iwobi to AM. It ain't happening. Mikel would AM and Ndidi and Onazi would DM and CM. Iwobi would be on the wings. I have already read Rohr's body language and game style and seen that Onazi is so key to how we play.

Icon79:
KPOM! Let's keep pushing the theory. I think that's what gives us the strongest line up, especially if Onazi is going to start on the bench. Another good news is that Alex Iwobi is improving his energy level and he fit well in AM role. This team is definitely coming together at the right time. I have not been this excited about the World Cup since 1994!

Icardi is viewed negatively by the Argentinian public, it is not just about messi. He slept with a teammate's wife, caused their divorce and married her after she was divorced.

Maxi Lopez has refused to shake hands with him in some Serie A games.

It will be good if he start from the bench, onazi is not making trabzonspor starting line up this days, trabzonspor is not up to a average team, even stoke city has better players than trabzonspor, that says a lot,but who am I to say that? Gernot rohr will decide

A lot of things can change between now and the WC. Look at how Rohr's team has evolved till now.

If Rohr's recent call-ups are anything to go by, the three goalkeepers he plans to take to the World Cup are Uzoho, Ezenwa and Akpeyi, who has been invited for the friendlies against Poland and Serbia next month.

I said it before that it will be harder for those not invited for March friendlies to gate crash.

Figurative it is. Influence and singlehandedly winning are 2 different words.

No matter how good or influential a person or player is, he can't on his own succeed in a team sport like football.

Why burst this bubble bro? Someone who claims he wants the best for the team wants us go with an inactive goalkeeper just because he trains with the first team once in a while, then we sideline those who train with the first team and at the same time, augment the training with playing for the team B consistently. I watched a documentary on the 1986 WC.. One of the widely held beliefs was that if you had put Maradona in any team in that WC, that team would have won the tournament. He was that good.

The argentina that won the WC in 1986 was an average team without Maradona.
