Slik07: Yes your supervisor is just a click away. I sent a mail to a potential supervisor before submitting my application and there was no response. I sent a generic mail to about 6 supervisors four weeks after i submitted my application and only one responded. His response was so uplifting, he said is willing to work with me as also looking forward to my application. The school got in touch with me after a week to ask for proof of change of name that they are now shortlisting candidates. Halleluyah. Continue dear, it;s just a click away!!1 5 Likes |

Good day Gurus in the house... Please I need a candid advice. I was denied US B1/B2 visa few months ago and presently I am making plans to apply for the Canadian student visa with the aim of going for a two year post graduate diploma in Engineering, I have HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (Distinction). In my US application I claimed the status of being married, so as to be granted the visa but in real sense I am still single. I don't know if such could affect my visa for a Canadian student visa, since I don't wish to claim the status quo of being married. Please kindly advice me. |

Good day Gurus in the house. If one is accepted in Express Entry Pool and Job Bank, would it affect the approval of the Study Permit Visa? Thanks |

Topsonhandsome: Bruh, kindly declare you're single when applying for a Canadian visa, trust me ..when your name is cross matched with other countries' embassy, what's gonna pop out is you bn denied visa, but other details and information won't reflect. because if u have to lie that you're married, that means u will have to forge marriage certificate, and do fake photos, which I feel ain't worth it( trust me CIC are gonna find out that it's fake) God forbid, you may then be look @ 5 years ban |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by maziude: 5:49pm On Feb 28, 2018 |
Topsonhandsome: Hello boss, You just have to tell the truth and face the consequences. Whether you will get approved or not, no one knows. All I know is that the US and Canada share information, so I am pretty sure when they inquire from their US counterpart, your info will show up (Again, nobody knows the extent of information they share whether it includes your entire bio or not). PS: To every other applicants, we should all be mindful of what we fill in our applications. Misrepresentation is one factor that has placed every potential applicant (especially the genuine ones) under the radar of the embassy officials. And we wonder why background checks or visa approvals take longer time on the average. If you are not married, you are not married. Being married or single really has no effect on whether your visa will be approved or denied. Remember visa application is dependent on so many important factors all bordering on the "purpose of visit". Please be guided. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Hello bosses, please I will like to kindly find out if a school in the USA which requests for your bank statement before admission intends to verify your statement even before you go to their embassy after admission. Thank you. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by jnyuwa02: 8:34pm On Feb 28, 2018 |
shaddy1k: Hope you are not trying to do what I am suspecting? Submit only genuine stuff, honesty is the best policy. Schools don't verify bank statements until they notice something amiss. The same applies to embassies. But better to be safe than sorry and incur a 5 year ban. 1 Like |

maziude: If you search online for the bio data booklet governing the sharing of information between Canada and USA, you will know the level of the information been shared. Especially if you have lived in the USA or Canada m before, they share an astonishing depth of information about you. Practically everything. Even your visa application form at USA embassy they can request. They have the capacity to query each other's system and request specific forms manually if they are not satisfied with the result of automated query which only gives them only general bio data info. I don't know if this booklet is still online, but I downloaded it a year ago and have a hard copy. Say the truth and let the truth set you free. |

Bosses, with this Nasu strike, getting unofficial transcript is proving difficult. Is there any alternative to getting or generating one that's OK as an unofficial transcript to be used for online application. |

Hello everyone, I'm starting plans for my visit to Canada, now that tickets are cheap. I'm finding it difficult booking tickets for egyptair online. The Arrival and departure column just doesn't function! Is the website broken? |

Good morning everyone, I recently got admission from McGill University to study Bioresource Engineering (MSc Non-thesis option). I am yet to send my official transcript and proof of graduation across to them due to the ongoing strike but I have decided to go ahead with the Visa application. Does anyone in the house have a clue about CAQ application, what it entails and how to successfully apply? I was told it precedes application for a study permit. |

Hi good morning, please I need your help. I graduated with a 2.1 (3.69 Cgpa) I applied for masters in three different universities, last two years I wasn't given so I tried conestoga college. I was given. I went ahead to use maple education agency and I was denied visa on October 2017 for the lack of funds reason. I decided to apply for fall 2018 in three universities; Saskatchewan, Guelph and McGill ( for the second time). I got denied admission for Saskatchewan and Guelph and I've already lost hope for McGill. My question is, do I just apply with my college admission and state I didn't get into university that's why I'm ping for PGD? Cause I don't have much fight left in me. I anticipate your reply. Thank you Frankrobbn1: |
