I would say that all this PGD applicants wasting money and applying to Canada and always getting refused visa should embrace Germany as their study destination. Germany is 3rd ranked globally in their educational system. Embrace this country as an alternative choice of study destination and mend your heart broken years of Canada refusals in applying for visa with PGD programs especially. you guys already know that the chances of visa approval is slim with PGD. If you are a 2.2 class of degree with a reasonable CGPA, you can comfortably do your M,Sc in Germany and forget about all this PGD programs in the name of migrating to Canada. Think twice or you go tey for naija dashing the Canadian embassy/VFS Canada your money. Spread your tentacles................ 6 Likes |

MICHV1: Is this the sacrificial lamb speaking who announced only a few days ago that he has come back to give hope to the hopeless and convert minds and souls? Is this the blueprint for your conversion program? I never know you to speak so harshly and uncouth. So true though, every candidate not only PGD, should embrace Germany as plan B. Stop dashing ACRRA your money. After second and third try at most and no success, just move on. Germany is just as good as Canada and offers foreign students the same opportunities. Why endless camping in the wilderness in the name of Canada? Yes, spread your tentacles, when God closes a door, he opens a window. Ask Noah. Best wishes. 1 Like |

jnyuwa02:I am not harsh, don't get it twisted but it is bitter to see people heart-broken just because they are ignorant that other good countries exist. When I was very active on this thread, i know many who took into consideration when I preached about Germany, they embraced the opportunity, worked toward it and they are happy studying and making euros there. if Canada isn't giving people what they wished for, please spread your tentacles. I know many who have made it to Australia, USA and Germany that are from this Canada thread then which is where they started this journey. Don't get blind-folded |

mcobex: Hello House, please I will like to find out how a school or embassy which requests bank statement is able to verify? Is it just by placing a call to confirm what is infront of them? How are they able to know that the financial institution dosnt in actual fact have that money but just coniving with its client by building statements for them. If a school doesnt detect when it asks for statement, at least the embassy should have a way to really know that the document infront of them is good or bad without those in those financial institutions? I need an advice for a friend... Thank you. |

shaddy1k: I have answered this question severally on this thread. HOW DO CANADIAN EMBASSY VERIFY BANK STATEMENT I will answer this question again to help provide clarity and also deter those who might want to involve themselves in sharp practices. YES ! Canadian embassies verifies bank statements that are sent in with applications. Some AGENTS might make you believe that the bank statements are only checked if the account numbers are valid. So they go ahead to ask you for your normal bank details and BVN details. They now use this genuine information to produce a fake bank account statement for your application. In many of the cases i have heard about, AGENTS convince the applicants that they have used it in the past for applicants and their visas was successfully approved. Please, don’t be fooled, because these visa agents are really slowly digging your “visas approval grave” The truth is that the banks are not meant to reveal your account balance, but there are many ways they can find out the genuineity of the account without knowing exactly how much you have in your account. The request sent to the banks are coded in a way that the bank just needs to respond “Yes” or “No”. Most time they verify the transcations carried out on the given bank statement. (this is all i can say about this topic because this is highly classified information). So in conclusion, don’t try to forge a bank statement, because the Canadian embassy will surely find out. Newbies learn from this and If you or anyone close to you has this fraudulent intention kindly abstain from it. All the best! 16 Likes |

Hello House, I like to ask this quickly. Firstly, since the NASU strike is still on and school transcript can't be processed. Is it okay to use a copy of WES evaluated transcript for CIC study permit application?? Secondly, which is preferable to submit as part of application document, bank statement with a closing balance less than 20k or a fixed deposit certificate of that same account showing above 1M rolled over every month? Lastly, can anyone here take through the steps involved in commencing paper application. Thank you for all your contributions so far. Cc: frankrobbn1 |

Frankrobbn1: Thank you Frankrobbn1 for the response, please I was rather asking of the instance where the issuer of the bank statement are the agents and at the same time the bank officials working in the department of the financial firm where the school may call or send query to verify. Shouldn't they have other means to verify since those people will just answer those query to agree with the statement they have given to their clients?. Thank you. |

Hello guys, I have applied to a school in Canada and have completed my application but having my MBA transcript outstanding as the school is currently on strike and am currently not sure if it has been sent. I am a married with two kids, one has the blue passport while the other has the green passport. My sponsor is my dad and the bank statement shows over 25k dollars. I have applied to a school in Canada as well as 3 schools in USA. My question is if I am eventually given the visa, when do i get to apply for my kids / husband since I didn't include them in the form as accompanying me. I felt, I should apply first before applying for my husband and kid. Do I need to also apply for the child with the blue passport. My husband and other kid also have 2yrs US visa. Please advise me on both instances, Canadian Students Visa and US Students visa. Kindly advise me. I have typed my questions several times but. I end up deleting it because am confused on what and how to ask the question. I wouldn't want anyone to shut me down. I have. Read so many things on this platform. And I have also made others join for more knowledge and contribution. Thank you. |

shaddy1k: As said earlier by My Oga, embassy will surely verify your statement account.Every details related to the statement will also be verified. If an agent issued a statement IFO you or in your assistance, believe me, they are using another person's clone statement for you which will surely backfire. |

Nogen: Your testimonies don't seize to quench. It all started by granting you visa and then to your husband whose visa was approved under a day(I think), it jumped into your parents this time and finally now your school have drastically reduced your tuition fees to that of Canadian student. Wow! Congratulations. Your God is indeed Alive. All the best in your endeavours. 5 Likes |

shaddy1k: Even good agents stay away from issuing fake statements when they know is Canadian embassy you are submitting it to. They freely issue fake bank statements when it has to do with USA embassy because USA embassy doesn't verify anything. Your interview happens within 3 minutes, you know your fate within 3 minutes of interview with the USA embassy. The 4, 5 months and up to a year that your application is pending with the Canadian embassy, what do you think they are doing? Sleeping? The truth is that nobody knows the true details of how they go about verifying SOA, but the truth is that they do. If the way is divulged, trust Nigerians, they will find a way to circumvent it. What I have heard is that the Canadian embassy enjoys a special privilege with the Nigerian Banks and there is a special office dedicated to authenticating bank statements submitted to it. You cannot collude with a bank official to circumvent this department. If you have genuine money with a bank and not looking to falsify stuff, whether the embassy verifies or does not do so, should be the least of your concerns. Note: schools rarely verify SOA submitted to them as this is the work of an embassy official in the host country before a visa is issued. In fact I don't know of any Canadian school that requests SOA. Schools lack the modalities and capacities for verification. This is the work of an embassy. 1 Like |
