Same way Messi scored his free kick against Etebor's Las palmas few days ago. He put it where the keeper was initially standing.

Did you see the velocity and placement of Messi's shot

Note: I called it very poor goalkeeping from Akpeyi. For Uzoho I would have also said same or even less.

But what I am trying to point is the exaggeration given to it by Tbaba

that don't he exaggerated it...
such an error in the world cup may prove too costly for the team.....
this goal keeping issues is a serious mess..
we really need to seek God's face

That's a good one.

I was not happy he was going to leave Girona-fc for a French struggling team.

Now, I can see this move really shocked those who mocked him here. They thought all was over for him because he was leaving la Liga for a struggling club in France. Chai! grin

Now, Kayode Olanrewaju is in the best position to go to the world Cup if he does well with Shakhtar Donetsk in the league and UEFA Champions League. grin

I can say he is the only Nigerian striker in a better club. The club wey flog Manchester City wey dey flog Arsenal, Leicester City, and all the EPL teams save Chelsea. grin dey even flog Roma wey flog Chelsea. grin

Hahahahahah! Can we say Girona-fc is better than Shakhtar Donetsk, or Malaga and Leicester City better than Shakhtar Donetsk? Bhuuuhahaha!

No wonder dem say he who laughs last laughs best. Make I laugh again. Bhuuuhahaha... Bhuuuhahaha.. Kkkkkkkkkkk.... Hohohohohohohihih! grin

I know some people will be wishing him and Shakhtar Donetsk bad luck for UEFA Champions League but una know.

Anyway, he will not make my list until he proves himself though he did proved himself in Girona-fc and la Liga but I want to raise the bar for him hoping he breaks it.

Meaning his importance is not on the level of Messi or Hazard for Gent..

I leave it... I watch the games enough to know that assertion is false. The stats do not back it.

Are you in the same club with him? How can you know better than his teammate who declared he is the Messi of Gent?

All you have is your own personal opinion while the fact still remains the same that Simon Moses is the Messi of Gent. Stop the false assertions.

I wish the dude picks up in Ukraine

The boy refused to be used as second choice and he doesn't like the selfishness of their players hence the need to protest by not returning to Girona-fc after break was over.

. In short, he demanded for loan move away from there. He didn't fall out of the team based on performance ground. He requested he has to move on.

Uzoho was the third choice for Depor.. He is still a rookie

Martinez is the third choice for Arsenal, he is still a rookie.

The difference with this two is that they are still playing games for the youth teams and reserve sides.

Musa was playing with the under 23 instead of staying idle. Rohr specifically asked Leicester to allow Musa play for the under 23s instead of being idle.

With Musa he simply was not able to adapt to the EPL. Musa played a good number of games for the U23, was he the stand out player and how many goals did he score to make a claim for first team football.

I suspect he didn't give his all in the U23's I may be wrong, but he didn't put in the performances to be considered.

Jay Jay was a real gem as at 94,rookie who had everything to become the best in the world but guess what,Okocha then was just having fun.

Pls go and watch Jay Jay against Italy at US 94 or against England at Wembley, there you see very unserious Okocha with his magic foot dribbling who care to see him.

I remember against Italy it reached a point Yekini and Finidi looked at Okocha in dismayed cos the two are free and expecting a pass but Okocha was to himself and telling the Italians with his displayed that i sabi play ball not knowing football is about result and we later paid for it when Italy equalized.

Okocha of post US 94 would have taken the team to final cos at later stage of his career (98-2004)Jay Jay see football as a serious business.During this period we saw Okocha that don't laugh when he balloon free kick into the air like he normally did at Atlanta 96

I know a lot would be surprised that a real talented player like Okocha couldn't win Africa footballer of the year even a serious minded Okocha should have won world player of the year cos he got the potential.

Mikel of 2018 is better than Okocha of 1994.

Okocha took too long to mature and understand that football is not just about playing for the gallery and show boating.

In this regard Mikel brings more value to the team dynamics and delivery.

There were times I preferred a disciplined and delivery focused Oruma to Okocha some may find that notion crazy. But I am unapologetic.

Highly depleted bench. If we had gone with a strong bench who knows perhaps we would have gone far because tactically Keshi knew his onions but personnel wise he didn't get it right. Even with that team Argentina scraped a victory against us.

then sha we really didn't have as much quality players as we do now but Keshi drove past the junction in taking the likes of Uchebo and Ruben Gabriel to the WC.

He even gambled with Oshaniwa and Babatunde but at least those ones put up some acceptable level of performance.

The latter two were just OK but showed promise however career wise after a decent world cup. These players career have literally nose dived into obscurity.

Why I am at loss to explain

Was watching Poland games during their world cup qualifiers early this morning. Be it Shehu or Ebuehi, whoever has work to do. Kamil of Poland loves to cut inside and cross to Lewandoski. They are very good at set pieces. For some reason they got a lot of penalties in their favor during the qualifiers. Poland also has a good winger on the right Lucasz. They revert to long balls when midfield is choked. Lewandoski is gonna be a handful.

You call that a routine free-kick from that distance. Have you not seen goalkeepers conceding free-kicks from even a further distance than that?

Did you notice the change in trajectory of the ball?

You would rather down play the quality of the free-kick.

How is this different from the one Enyeama conceded against Messi?

Oga you are a big disappointment to the word experience!... Look at how you are defending a big blunder made by an Experienced Goalkeeper at a shot from 25 yards. Your defense of this ineptitude speaks volumes about your knowledge about football.

If you were a coach, your team will be terrible. I will simply tell my players to keep taking direct shots at your keeper because he will fumble at it and he will concede 6.

A keeper that cannot see the flight of the ball from 25 yards out both from open play and from set-piece, is that one a keeper?... SMH

thanks for this.

This friendly will be a good test for our team. It will help expose some of our weaknesses and give us time and opportunity to fix it proper before the mundial.

I'll love to see how our team will fair/respond once again to a better side that plays long balls. The Zambia second leg game gave us a taste of longballs and we didn't do well...

Akpeyi is not a good goalkeeper and can never give what he dont have. Siasia brought him as one of d overaged players in Olympic and d poor Emmanuel Daniel still benched him. I watched d match against Colombia live in sao paulo and I can say that Akpeyi's performance affected d whole team because everybody panics whenever ball is coming towards our post.
He has been given enough time to redeem his image but its obvious he has nothing better to offer. I thought they said he's very solid GK for his club but all I see is d same Akpeyi. His continuous invitation is actually injustice to many other Goalkeepers who are praying for an opportunity.
