eterisan:Tackles don't win u championship? Ok score 3 goals and leave your defence open if you won't concede 4. Chelsea defence during José mourinho first reign mainly won titles because of their brutal tackles cos they mainly won games 1-0. Remove Kante's tackles from Leicester title winning side and u will see that they would have battled relegation that year. A single tackle can be the difference between a win, draw or loss. Please sir, don't say tackles doesn't win u championship again. It surely does and we pray Ndidi tackles wins us enough points at the world cup to go far...Amen |

Sainty92: Tackles truly don't win titles, you can argue that interceptions do but definetly not tackles. The blocks were exactly that, blocks and not tackles. When you intercept a pass before it gets to the player, you have a quicker possibility of a counter attack, but tackles, that's another thing. Anyways all these things are important thoug |

the road to insulting and fuming and defaming all of you that were against our own @Ndidi. Perhaps yesternight's performance will shut you lots up till after the world cup. He bested Kante in all ramifications of the same position and to a flawless level that now, the world is now screaming his hype. Continue to hate on your own o. He lost to a better team that cos of him, game was dragged to extra time. Please what else do you need? 1 Like |

tbaba1234: Sadly his service was still executed poorly.... He didn't screenshot my original comment.... If we wanna do something, then let us do it wholly... Lol It is easy to say I find no wrong in Nacho when I actually do. It is just that ehen I do speak on Nacho's shortcomings, the rest act blind and do not see it. Lol... They only raise alarms when I balance it beautifully by speaking on Nacho's good and strengths which people are quick to call hypes. Against South Africa, I lashed Nacho for not doing enough and not having enough fire in him that day even when I blamed the midfielders for not doing their job especially the one who played AM that day. Believe it or not, but the Truth will always be twisted to and for some and they start crying that Supernerd sees no wrong in Nacho... A stand they take to make their own points look so valid and sound like the Truth when it is a fat lie. Now let us analyse this one more time..... Iheanacho hit a misplaced pass... No one said he didn't. I even called it a slightly hit-behind-the player pass... It was poorly placed by Nacho. He should have hit it a bit further forward for Mahrez.... Buutttttt He had just exerted energy winning the ball cleanly off two tussles before he broke free on that attack.... He then hit a not so perfect pass to mahrez which is true... But bottom line, Mahrez brought the ball under control... Mahrez even executed a feigning dribble easily with his left foot... Then he broke free and had a choive to go wide right but he decided to move central into trouble grounds of three Chelsea markers and lost the damn ball.... How Nacho takes the blame for this in any way is totally beyond me! Not even one top pundit called out Nacho but na some people here wey go only come out when Kelechi is concerned as if their reason for being here is just Kelechi... They don't comment until it is about Kelechi... Smh... Abeg... It is Mahrez's fault. Simple and plain. Go take it up with the matchday commentators and analysts because they also agree with me. That is calling a spade a spade and not defending a player. When Nacho does wrong, I talk about it but when Nacho does right... Some people here just grow silent and say nothing.... Okay, against Bournemouth... When Mahrez hit that freekick goal that earned Leicester a point in the dying seconds, no one emphatically pointed out that it was Nacho who drew that foul and won that freekick in the first place. No one pointed out that when he came in, Leicester were beginning to look more dangerous with Nacho sending Vardy thru on a few occasions and keeping the passing flowing... But when Nacho caused a freekick sometime ago earlier this season against Leicester which led to a goal against Leicester, these same set of people were quick to come out and lash Nacho for conceding that freekick and blaming him for everything. It is becoming a bad habit on this thread and balance must be restored. You blame Nacho for a freekick scored against Leicester. Then plsss praise him too for a freekick won and scored by Leicester. And when Mahrez stupidly tries to run into trouble even after Nacho ran in behind the players facing Mahrez and positioned himself on the shoulder of one of the last defenders and did open up keeping himself onside..( if only mahrez had gone wide right ) then plssss let us just blame mahrez and leave Nacho alone. He is NOT the reason Mahrez acted silly in that instance. Nacho this, Nacho that... Did he give a misplaced pass? Yes he did. Did it still reach its destination? Oh hell yeah.. It did. Did the receiver of the misplaced pass manage to bring it under control and balance? Yes he did... With so much time sef. Did he beat his first marker with a feigned dribble? Yes he did so easily.... Further establishing the fact that he was in control of the situation and the ball. Did he have a choice to go wide right and try to pull out for nacho who was positioned waiting for such a pass? Yes he did but he lost it in his decision making and decided to go play "maradona" in the face of three walls in his way... He forgot he is not HOUDINI!!!! Thank you... Now that is much better service delivered... De rien... 7 Likes

Danielnino00:whats fair about criticisms that disregards facts that are seen with the eyes? pls school me what sort of criticism that doesn't just wanna respect efforts that are made individually without Tryna bring down someone? I should grow up, sure I do every day. But the good Lord knows that all who hating on Ndidi are just true haters that have no valid point or reason for hating other than that he is just a Nigerian. that's the reason some peeps bring up stupid comparisons like Modric Vs Onazi just to bring down his hardworking that the world whole, except Nigerian critics, are now applauding him for. What is that called? Grow up please. Does he need to play a game Vs Busquets before he can be classed? He played against the same guy that the whole Epl were making to look like a god(a black for that matter), and he bested him all round. pls what's the criticisms that is very valid about the fact that is better than Kante, and several others across Europe's top 5 leagues? You told me to grow up, please do grow up geometrically. I'll take up growing arithmetrically. criticisms my foot. What are they even criticising sef? what? what are they criticising for God's sake? Icon4s:the only reason I believed this is because of what you guys said. I did not watch the game , so, how can I start saying what I don't know? I was led to believe he was at fault, by what i read, not what i saw, so, I cannot talk as if I know anything. And the same way you owe no in anything., that is how KC's fans are. Nobody owes anybody anything here, so, if they want to be blind supporters, no wahala. Las las, even you, mentioned that KC made a bad pass, but you didn't exaggerate it the way Dede did, so, why you would support such a strongly-worded writing against KC's supporters is beyond me. Nobody exonerated Kelechi totally, so, why did he come here, vituperating as if someone said Kelechi's pass was Pirlo-esque We have been on this for over two years and nobody has changed. We still know who is talking by their words, so, why don't we all stop instigating each other by accusing people of over loving a player It is starting to look like some people just say stuff to get at others |

Mickael2:For God sake, how do tackles not win championship. If an argument can be made for interceptions, then why not tackles. A good tackle would have prevented a good interception. It also returns possession to your team to do whatever you like with the ball... Though na scores we dey count at the end of the game but all these contributes to the final scoreline at the end of the day jo. 4 Likes |

Morning guys/ladies. On this issue of hating on players as perceived from d criticism dat some give. D only thing I can say is dat some of us go abt our criticism d wrong way. Wen u want to criticize a player dat u genuinely love ND want to get beta u start from a good point ND den d bad, unless d player was piss poor on d day. Some of us here have kids in sch. Wen they bring home their report card u dnt go criticizing d c's before complimenting d A's... Ndidi was massive, but he needs to up his game wen it comes to passing.... Dats how u criticize.. Iheanacho was very tactically disciplined, but his pass to mahrez was not gud and dat made it easier for mahrez to lose possession leading to d goal... Dats constructive criticism. Alot of us kept mentioning his poor first touch... ND seeing how it's not be mentioned in d last 20pages at least m assuming he has worked on it, but Av not seen anyone come to compliment him for dat.. Please let's all be constructive in d way we criticize... Have a lovely day everyone. 8 Likes |
