The opposition was not very good so i was surprised that Enyimba conceded 2 at home... Maybe they fielded a weaker team but i am interested in Ezenwa performance since he is world cup bound.
I will always opine this: Ezwnwa is not better than Akpeyi. Confidence is the latter's only disadvantage.

That Ezenwa guy na big gamble for our team... That God Rohr knows this already.

Liverpool Fans Are All Saying The Same Thing About Ndidi After Brilliant Display Vs Chelsea

Liverpool fans have urged the club to make a move for Wilfred Ndidi following his excellent performance in Leicester City's 2-1 loss to Chelsea in the quarterfinals of the Emirates FA Cup on Sunday evening.

The Nigeria international was earlier linked with a switch to the Reds but it is understood that they have not officially contacted Leicester City over signing the midfielder.

With Naby Keita set to join from Bundesliga club RB Leipzig at the end of the season, the fans of Liverpool reckon that they would have a world class midfield if Ndidi is added to their ranks.

Against Chelsea, the Super Eagles star outshone Chelsea's destroyer N'Golo Kante, making a game-high ten tackles compared to the Frenchman's 1; he made three interceptions and two clearances according to stats provided by OPTA.

Here are some of the best tweets from Liverpool fans:

@NabyKeitaBaby : ''Ndidi was class tonight vs Chelsea. Really hope we get him for that 6 ''

@Ipisciotti : ''Imagine if we get Ndidi and Draxler too... What a Team!''

@Ajaxin : ''Jorginho and Ndidi rumors clearly suggest we want a DM. Adios Henderson.''

@AasimMo_LFC : ''Agree 100%, except I wouldn't want can/gini/hendo alongside keita Would prefer jorginho/ndidi , keita and lemar''

@ThisMerv : ''Ndidi would be a welcomed addition.''

@jaedontaylor07 : ''Would be unreal even though Lemar has been really quiet this season tbh...heard Ndidi is on our radar aswell''

@Egz1_ : ''Ndidi & Naby Keita > Xavi & Iniesta''

@ForzaRobertson : ''Ndidi-Keita and Draxler or Jorginho is actually such a good midfield, can’t have Jorginho-Keita-Draxler though because it’s unbalanced and weak''

@FalseFirmino : ''Ndidi links. Brilliant.''

@FutbolRob__ : '' Wilfred Ndidi// Without a doubt has been Leicester’s best player in his breakthrough season. Would be immense in a holding Midfield spot along side Naby Keita or even in a box-to-box role. His energy in Midfield would bring a lot to Liverpool and would be a great signing imo ''

I like Kelechi a lot but i think, some people over praise him.

A honest analysis of Kelechi performance can not be done without argument. For some, he can do little wrong.. Some are sometimes over-critical.

It is like criticizing the NPFL. Some do not want to hear one critical word..
Critics with great mind no issue but critics with bitterness should not be encouraged.

Make una chillax... Friday is just days away.... A fine opposition in Poland awaits us. They are currently no.6 in the world I think... And their coach (Adam Nawalka) na big fan of Nigerian football sef as seen from the completeSports news article I shared (written BG a polish journo) so he will field his finest against us.

That will be a good place to start to look again at Uzoho because na him Rohr go likely throw into that game as we have only seen 45 mins of him in the GWG.

The others like Akpeyi and Ezenwa may be tried in the Serbia game (or Uzoho again perhaps) or Maybe just maybe Akpeyi will get a shot with the Poland game sharing halves with Uzoho.... Well I don't know for sure but I do know that Uzoho will be most tried because he had only been seen for 45 mins in the GWG and Rohr seems to rate him highly and may be looking to make him no.1 (Chief Icon4s won't like this grin ) if he does well against Poland or Serbia.

I don hear you TheSuperNerd but i think we should balance things up here,Uzoho get reviews, Akpeyi too,MFM keeper got his own,Olorunleke Ojo too but remain Ajiboye and Ezenwa and they are in action yesterday especially Ezenwa.

someone said akpeyi's issue is confidence..well i am not sure it is confidence that made him pick the ball outside the 18yard box that led to that banega free kick against argentina

I think I like the review on Olorunleke Ojo... smiley Saving three pks is not beans mehn... The last time that happened on the continental stage for club or country was with Enyeama I think at Afcon 2006 against Tunisia (He saved one during regulation time and saved three during PSO).

He is one for the future if he keeps this up. He was part of Manu Garba's squad to the 2015 AYC (U-20 Afcon) am I right? I hope I am oooo... I think there was him and Enaholo (went on to be no.1 at the worlds with Alampasu and Ojo on the bench I think).

On the other reviews that directly affect our GK choices for the WC, well... So far na so so discouraging and mixed reviews. Akpeyi have been keeping clean sheets in SA. Just hope his GWG maniac attack won't strike again.

Ajiboye, we know his quality. He was in goal for plateau and did well. He didn't concede even tho his team mates couldn't get that one more goal.

Alampasu, well he hasn't been in action but his quality is very good but that won't serve for now because he is still a young goalie. Hope he gets more action at club level ahead of Afcon 2019. We need him to grow more and fight for a place like Uzoho is doing with the experienced hands of Akpeyi and Ezenwa.

See ehn Elder Sir.... With respect to the WC, our focus are on Akpeyi, Ezenwa and the prodigy, Uzoho. And so far, the reviews have been mixed and sometimes discouraging, so I say we wait till friday to start on a clean slate again and start looking at the goalies one by one... But mind you, Rohr seems to be drifting towards Uzoho according to my friend and contact in Abuja who had a one-on-one with Rohr not so long ago during the NFF awards and world cup tour experience.

According to him, Rohr rates this kid Uzoho so highly and we will see him in the friendlies against Poland or Serbia for sure. But he also said that according to Rohr, Ezenwa has earned his place already in the team based on his heroics and overall displays during the WC qualifiers not to even mention the CHAN. But Rohr never talk who go be no.1... Lolll

So biko.... These reviews for balance are all fine and good ooo.. But we go still find big big loopholes wey go make us weak... We are in a code red in our goalkeeping dept but shaa I think we should stick to hope's lane via the use of the friendlies to re-assess their readiness or near readiness for the mundial... Rookie or experienced, we just need the best risk.

This issue of our goalkeeper crisis can be equivalenced to a prestigious and respected individual being tormented by a deadly and embarrassing cancer/ulcer on a part of the body and having to conceal it from the public to ward off a potentially abject disgrace.

Imagine an Ezenwa or Akpeyi against the deadly and ruthless Lewandowski.

Better to not imagine but see them live against Lewandowski or a Mitrovic rather than to avoid the nightmares of a lewanGOALSKi only to be faced with the worst realities of facing Messi, Higuian, Mandzukic, Perisic, Gudmunsson or Sigurdsson at the WC...

The time is now to face those demons and have them exorcised before the mundial. We cannot live in fear for long in this dept if we must excel in Russia. Let Poland come quickly abeg.... I cannot wait.
