Kelechi from Arsenal fan tv also visited the camp.

It's been a nice read up to this point. The arguments and counter arguments make this thread worthwhile. Without them, this thread would be as dry as the Chelsea thread.

had it been kelechi have a British passport probably he would have been in championship playing.

and relating to kelechi nwakali invitation...that should be after the world cup because I see him as one who will eventually take over from mikel....I even told safarigirl the possibility of onomah stepping in should him accept play fr nigeria.

mind you if nwakali gets invited now...I don't mind...but I don't think that is possible.

if you've have a problem with that...that's shouldn't be my concern......you can keep chanting for Abdul ajagun, Martins and aluko invitation....but i am free to state my view...and I have reasons to back it up....

the difference between me...and you and also your British mate...is that even when the player I craved for is never invited I don't blame anyone for that...not even the coach, I don't go blame the nff politics or call the super eagles a cult group...
i support the team regardless of who gets invited....I get to know about players...prior i start call for reason for their invitation...and lots more...

so I am not an hypocrite...
if you must define who an hypocrite is...you will know better from the bolded.

I can say conclusively from the past that there was a culture of settlement and appeasement to retain your position in the NFF.

I even know a player who was captain of the national team expected to pay appeasement to show his gratitude.

Obagoal and Aluko refused to understand how things are done and where simply excluded.

so sorry if my words sounds harsh...

You have used your own yardstick to condemn yourself.

Did you or did you not say I am only interested in English born players YES OR NO

I have talked about Etebo but then you will say I am tribalistic.

You are so emotively prejudiced you forgot to talk about all the Nigerian origin players from the UK that I said are not good enough.

To substantiate your position why not state all the UK players I have talked about in the context of the SE

You may then find yourself learning about yourself and your inability to be objective. It take humility to learn not pride.

If you think championship is better than Turkish league then I don't think I can continue this argument, Omeruo plays against players like pepe, quaresma, robihno, gomis and turan etc

Onazi wanted to move to Birmingham because of some factors which might not be footballing factor and as for Omeruo I dont see how he failed in Middlesbrough after making 33 appearances and helping them to promotion

When Tega ripped the championship last season, how many EPL teams were queuing up to sign him.

Is that not an indictment you helped a club to get to the EPL and they didn't break the bank to sign you but let you go. How many EPL clubs were waiting to sign him after his outstanding performance.

How many MOTM awards did he win in the Championship

I do not know Onazi but do you And is that what he told you You are being presumptuous to a fault

These are old players on the wrong side of 30 you and have seen thier best days behind them taking an easy ride in a far less competitive league that you have in Turkey.

This is laughable Pepe is 35 so also or thereabouts are Robihno and Quaresma or maybe you deh joke.

Omeruo went to Turkey for Money not because he could not get to a better league..,

Tell me one club in the EPL or Championship in England that offered him a contract

So playing in Kasimpasa will pay more than the championship Do you really think so

How much is the highest player in Kasimpasa on annually. There are a lot of championship players on over £50k a week.

The reality is he knows he will not be able to get a club to pay him big bucks in the championship sadly true, he simply is not rated highly. For him Turkey was probably a better option maybe. Than testing himself against better players and getting a move to the EPL.

Tosin Kehinde's parents took him to meet Gernot Rohr. This is a player directly indicating his interest to play for Nigeria to the coach. No drama, no months of thinking about it..

If i was Rohr, i will invite him for the last training session for him to get a feel of the camp...

I don't like to get into long arguments but I just want to point out something I keep noticing. I've been following this thread for a long time now, and I see the patterns that play out in discussions here. Double standards!

You keep telling people not to believe everything they read, yet you quote articles and comments that support your argument and present them as fact that should be accepted. Apparently, whatever you say is true, is true and people are supposed to just take it?

People here defended Kelechi when he was having difficulty and suggested the coach was not fair to him and the system did not favour him. Whether that was true or not is another matter. However, according to you, he was not good enough and thus his predicament. Those making 'excuses' for him were just sentimental and it was all 'emotive bias', etc. Now you are making excuses for Iorfa, his coach had an agenda and some conspiracy theory brouhaha. Even if he was that good, why did he leave for the lowly 'kick and follow' (i believe in your words) Ipswich? Why didn't another premier league team or at least a better championship side snap him up?

I'm not trying to downplay Iorfa's quality. Just trying to point the flaw in your stance. Like I said earlier, I'm not one to get into any back and forth so quotes may not necessarily be replied. I'll just leave it at that.

Fellow eagulians, I hail. Over and out!

Wolves has a new Portuguese Manager Nuno Santos heavily linked with super Agent Mendes.

Players from the top level of Portuguese football and proven international players. Have been drafted in more than 6 players.

Dominic Iorfa was simply in the way of themanagers preference for Portuguese players. He had to go on loan otherwise he would be surplus to requirements.

Please tell me where I said that KC was simply not good enough without qualifying it.

I am familiar with Leicester and a few of the coaching staff. This is club built on hard work and endeavour.

But let's face the cold facts. KC was bought to lead the line not just support it, there were huge expectations. KC has scored one goal in the EPL what does that tell you.

He just hasn't been able to adapt his game to suit Leicester city. Playing in a top team like City will make a very good player become like world class.

KC is undoubtedly a very good player. But his advisors looked at the money and didn't look at his competencies and match them to the clubs expectations and playing style.

Help me tell that guy that onazi wanted to move to the championship for money issues,How much is trabzonspor paying onazi? Not more than 20k euros per week and Birmingham will offer more than that.

Ruben Neves leave FC porto to join wolverhampton a record fee of 20 million pounds the highest ever paid for a player in the championship,That does not mean championship is better than portugal league okay,Ruben neves join them for the money and more better salary, many championship club are rich.Anybody who know football well will never say chamoionship is better than the turkey league.

Your propositions are seemingly confusing you contradict yourself.

The Turkish league is rated 10 and below by UEFA the EPL is near 10 places above. So is it unreasonable to say that the second tier of English football is better than the retirement league of Turkey.

What does the higher Portuguese league have to do with this comparison.

What makes a league better ❓

common sense is truly not common this days...

Don't think Onyedinma merits it anymore he is off the boil, needs to get a better club or improve from kick and rush football.

Aluko has already been capped and did very well but did not agree to settle. His quality is known and his intention to play for Nigeria is also known.

Not Rohr but some officials have excluded him.

They told the NFF when he was a teenager that he will commit at the age of 23.

He made the commitment 2 years earlier last year Summer spoke with Rohr and he is still waiting.

The right back position is filled up and the players there are young too.

I doubt that Komekn is a different person from Forgiveness. I took time to read their messages, they have one common interest no matter how much they try to cover it. The tone of their messages and argument is the same. Always on opposition side of every single topic. Always expressing a mindset of insecurity and inferiority complex. Always presenting statistics to pull one player down in promotion of another. Always responding to every comment with questions like " where did u hear me say.....? Answer me this that YES or NO? All these similarities cant be coincidence. But it will be a big shame if its actually one person that is misusing his talent and time to cause nuisance on this beautiful thread.
We should not over emphasize on the importance of comments on nairaland. If Rohr have time to read all these comments, l can bet u that he can never be successful (Those that make news dont really have time to read news)
We have a foreign coach that is giving us good results, lets all support this team and enjoy it while it lasts. If d sentiment of not having your favourite player overshadows d joy of d team victories, what will happen when d team looses?
Taking some issues personal, arguing from morning till night and starting all over again tomorrow might indirectly affect our reasoning and emotional life for nothing. Too much of anything is bad.
Happy new week to everyone.
