Jordan is currently at peace, Nigeria is currently at war and you leave Nigeria to learn how to fight in Jordan!

who taught the Jordanians hijacking training??

all those people you're going to learn from, who taught them? who built their"quality training facility" for them??

Jordanians saw a problem, they went to their drawing board and they proffered a solution.

now other people are coming to learn from them.

Nobody taught anybody anything.

Knowledge, learning and training is a continuous process. That's why we have exercises constantly, no nation on earth, not even North Korea conducts military exercises entirely on it's own.

You really need to stop this your rant.

Shall I dumb down for you?
The NAF SF team are in KASOTC,Jordan to get anti hijack skills( rescuing hostage in train,planes etc). In this same place do US army SF ODA's train, Pakistani SSG Zarrar company.

We do not have this capability and we have Jordan ready to show us (you kuku "smartly" typed that Jordan uses NATO doctrine). So we should have turned it down & watched YouTube videos?

Throwing plenty words around does not mean you are making sense.

Jordan has one of the best Special Forces training facilities in the world. Jordan is also at war with the Islamic State.

Jordan does not fight like NATO, Jordan and NATO do not necessarily share the same type of threats.

Nigeria fights like Nigeria, that's what TRADOC is there for. Sending a couple officers around the world to gain extra skill doesn't and will never negate the fact Nigeria conducts military operations with a Nigerian military doctrine.

According to the link you provided.

While British forces regularly conduct exercises in Jordan, establishing a permanent military base would be a win-win for the UK, and not just in the diplomatic sense. It would allow the British military to play a stabilizing role, rather like the current activity in Bahrain. ”

The key word there is exercise not training.

cancelling out people's posts does not mean you have a better thing to say.

as usual inaccuracies.. your last paragraph reeks of contradictions.
.
Jordan ceased all anti-Isis operations, they were scared shitless when Isis beheaded their golden pilot.

--------------
But while Western allies have increased their military campaigns against the terrorist group, those in neighbouring Arab nations, seemingly better-placed to weed them out, appear to have dialled down their efforts.

Countries such as Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, on the other hand, have launched just one mission a month against IS targets, »»» while Bahrain and Jordan ««« have completely stopped, according to CNN.

The US has trained in the Artic North ( NORWAY) Nato ally
Ghana saw fit to ask the Nigerian Government to train their SF ( Ecowas)
Gambia saw fit to ask for our SFs
The US has trained in the Niger Delta with Nigeria and Thailand ( Non NATO allies)
Egypt and Russia will be conducting Extensive Military exercises this month not sure whether SFs are involved but Egypt sure as heck needs some of this stuff ( Not knocking EGYPT just stating facts)
Jordan is STILL at War with ISIS and didn't chicken out sorry to break it to you the day after their PILOT was horribly executed, they executed Six known ISIS terrorists and bombed known strongholds of ISIS in SYRIA
Britain of the famed SAS has trained with their American Counterparts and their is evidence of their footprints in Nigeria, Unlike your POV that I do respect I believe Nigerian SF are the richer for it knowledge wise it does not detract from their training afterall coming from 2009 , NIGERIA now has in place the infrastructure for SFs
for NA, NN AND NAF and they will continue to evolve.

DSS Apprehend Basalube Kidnap Gang

In keeping with its commitment and pledge to ensure the safety of citizens and residents in the country, the Department of State Services (DSS), in collaboration with sister security agencies, has further sustained its counter operations to degrade and contain the activities of unscrupulous elements, including kidnappers and insurgents in parts of the country.

2. On 23rd March, 2018, at Japama in Obajana LGA, Kogi State, Lawal MOHAMMED (aka Buba), a major financier and armourer of the dreaded BASALUBE kidnap gang was apprehended by a joint team of the Service and the Military. Two (2) other members of the gang namely – Mohammed TUKUR and Abubakar IBRAHIM were also arrested in the operation. TUKUR was identified as the Chief surveillance officer of the gang as he coordinated the gang’s movement across the various States of Rivers, Edo, Delta, Kebbi, Zamfara, Kaduna, Kogi and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja preparatory to the execution of their operations. Three (3) GSM phones and twenty Five (25) bottles of psychotropic inducers were recovered from the suspects.

3. Relatedly, on the same date, at Lower Afesere, Ughelli North LGA, Delta State, Ali ABUBAKAR, a notorious kidnapper and top ranking member of the same BASULUBE gang was also arrested. This arrest was effectted while he was perfecting plans to carry out kidnap operations in Obajana, Kogi State. The following members of his gang were subsequently arrested:
i. Abubakareem IDRISA;
ii. Bashir Uban Dawaki TSOHO;
iii. Sanusi ABUBAKAR;
iv. Nuhu MUHAMMAD; and
v. Abubakar ABDULHAMEED

4. In its determination to decimate the BASALUBE group, the Service on 26th March, 2018, at Dikko area of Niger State, arrested Abubakar DANLANSU, driver and weapon courier of the group. The suspect was arrested enroute Edo state from where he was to convey weapons to Obajana, Kogi State for the gang’s planned kidnap operations.

5. In another development, on 23rd March, 2018, at Skippers Fast Food, along Sani Abacha Express Way, Yenagoa, the Service arrested Mathew EKAM over his complicity in the kidnap of Obianuju ONYEMA, earlier abducted on 12th March 2018 and later released on 18th March, 2018. The 39 year old suspect is a native of Ogoja, Cross River State and a driver of a heavy duty truck operating between Bayelsa and Rivers States.

6. Also, on 24th March, 2018, at the outskirts of Wudil town, Wudil LGA, the Service arrested a suspected Boko Haram element, Sanusi Mohammed BELLO, believed to be carrying out surveillance activities for the extremist group in the area. At the point of his arrest, several handsets, multiple identity cards including those of a Police Constable and neighbourhood vigilante member and the sum of thirty seven thousand, eight hundred and fifty five naira (N37,857.00) were recovered from him.

7. The arrests of these suspects hold major significance for law and order and safety of persons. It is instructive to note that the activities of kidnappers and armed robbers on the Lokoja-Okene and Abuja-Kaduna corridors have relatively reduced as a result of sustained counter operations of the Service and sister security agencies. It is believed that the recent apprehension of Ali ABUBAKAR and other members of the dreaded BASALUBE kidnap gang led by Ibrahim BASALUBE and Abubakar SIDDI as well as the disruption of the group’s network will ostensibly result in the complete elimination of violent and other allied crimes in those regions.

8. The successes so far recorded by the Service are geared towards providing a safe and peaceful environment for law abiding citizens to pursue their legitimate endeavours. We wish to reassure the public that the tempo of these operations will be continually reviewed, strengthened and sustained. The Service, therefore, wishes to reiterate its stance that all perpetrators of violence and criminality against the Nigerian State and its law-abiding citizens will be made to face the full course of law no matter how long it takes.

National Headquarters,
