I don't know of any whatsapp group. I'll advise you to relax. From the time of submission of eAPR to PPR ought to be six months maximum. You're still well within time. Just use the time to plan your landing. It will surely end in praise. SkyWalk12: 3 Likes |

Saintp: Means she should add spouse as a joint signatory to the account (after which they get a signature confirmation showing signatories to the account)and write a letter to CIC stating spouse is authorised to use funds for migration purposes(this they add to proof of funds documents) |

I know one thing for sure: admissions can be deferred. my OPINION is that you can get in as a permanent resident and leverage the lower fees you will pay in school that way. I dont think I am wrong, because I have seen this done severally, but in the end, its all up to you. I guess others can say if my opinion is wrong or not. fancydiamonds17: |

fancydiamonds17: I understand your situation. Deferring admission is an option but some people don't really like it as one will lose a year or half. Besides, you may have a funding that is not guaranteed with deferral. If you have the resources, I read somewhere that "Applying for a Canada study permit and Canadian permanent resident status at the same time is referred to as “dual intent”, and such practice is common and accepted by Canadian immigration law." Modified: It is clearly stated here and I don't think you have any problem at all. https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/temporary-residents/visitors/dual-intent-applicants.html |

Saintp:She should go to her bank and tell them she wants to add her spouse to her account. They will give her forms and things to bring, things like passport photos, BVNs, passport biodata pages and utility bill etc. She makes herself the A and her husband the B... I. e signature mandate. Then she acknowledges it on the letter she will write and notarize which says he has access to the settlement funds. I get a sample if u wld like one. 1 Like 1 Share |

Hello from the other side.... Sorry I have been away so long... Sorry I have a very long gist for u guys.... Congrats to every ITA/PPR/VOH/Landing gist/New jobs gusts that came in in my absence. God bless us all and may it end in praise. LANDING GIST I have nothing to say but that I am so grateful to God. My story isn't complete even at today but soon and very soon, it shall be. The call to migrate to Canada started from ma mum in 2013.... The vision to migrate to Canada started following a reminder by my mum in june 2015. The works started when we began studying d entire EE system/process in July 2015. The race started when we took the first leap by paying for ECA by WES(for DH) and MCC(for me) Wrote first IELTS may 2016...L7.5/R8/S7.5/W7 CRS 382. Wrote 2nd IELTS August 2016 L9/R7.5/S7/W6.5 I didn't bother checking d CRS . I immediately requested a remark(EOR for reading, listening and speaking.) on 13sept 2016.... It took approx 14weeks .. I was able to calmly wait it out cos draw cut off was in d high 460s.... I got an EOR upgrade on 28th Dec 2016. Speaking increased to 7.5, writing increased to 7 ....reading unchanged. Now time to swim....I made some mistakes while changing d IELTS scores... Next thing I got a mail dat my profile had become ineligible.... I just tire. I abandoned d profile as crs was still too high. I considered waiting for its to add his masters...it will only add 2 marks and still keep us below 450. Late January 2017 crs started falling and I quickly created another profile and entered pool 24th January 2017 February 8 2017 crs crashed to 447....I was near. Nearly cannot kill a bird. February 22 cut off was 441. I got in on 443. document gathering, submission, anxiety in d waiting time...etc. all those are now history . PPR came 103 days later on July 24th. Visa came in August I think 28th. Tickets bought October 10... Preparations, resignations, clearance sales, severance, etc wasn't just easy. Why Saskatoon? I honestly can't say but I know God has gone ahead of us. So 28th march came, my family members took us to d airport....nnamdi azikiwe . I am not so emotional but I lost some tears when my househelp broke down wailing... First at d entrance, my bottles of oil. The officer argued with me about my oil fried egusi...well her oga allowed it pass. Some guys claiming agriculture tried to corner us dat our bags were too many and looked like we are exporting. Nothing for them. We passed without dropping. We had 8 heavy bags. Total overweight was by 27kg. We reached and paid for 1 extra luggage We were almost d last to enter d plane. The kids slept more than 80% of d entire journey.... I didn't have to give them any help with that o.♀♀ I was exhausted and sleep a lot too. We got to Pearson Intl airport Toronto at 8am and immigration was a breeze. But we were asked to show d balance POF. ( so guys always be ready) We showed an updated Tbill cert. She did say d magic "welkom to canada" We proceeded to Service Canada and got d SIN done too. We got another welkom to Canada smile. Went to cbsa and gave d goods to follow list.....I sensed we were going to be searched and I was getting worried we will miss our flight( because a friend was waiting at saskatoon) Miraculously, my 4yr old broke into a frenzy .....she wanted to poo "Mummy I need to use d toilet right now pls" "Mummy plsss...I don't want to poo on my body" "Mummy remember u forgot to put extra jeans for me" Mummy I can't hold it ooo. She was crying seriously and all of us were confused. Na so cbsa officer look me again and said. Madam do u have meat,? No sir. Dairy? No sir, I knw d law..what of vegetables? Dried onugbu, okazi, uziza and utazi.. Ok ok ma'am, d exit is thru that door, ask for directions to d convenience....♀♀♀♀ We got outside and ma dauta was thrilled by d sight and when I asked her about pooing she said "eehhmm mummy I think it's gone. I don't want to poo again.♀♀ We checked into AIR Canada just on tym and boarding started shortly.... At d entrance to d craft, I realized we forgot our stroller. It was checked in frm Abuja. We didn't claim it at baggage. It was too late and too far to go back...I was too tired to care. We all slept soundly thru the 3.30hrs flight from toronto to saskatoon. No one asked me for food among my kids. My friend and an Anglican priest were waiting for us. So was d cold. Temperature was about -17°. I was super excited to find my stroller right beside other luggage... they had tracked it to us....if it were naija We drove frm airport to our apartment... We were welkom with a week supply of cooked stew, soup and groceries. Courtesy of my friend. We went to get a line few hrs later....my dual sim samsung fone worked!!!! I got A virgin mobile byod for 58/mnth 5g free txt n call canadawide. We got home about 10pm Saskatoon time and all slept. Friday we went to buy more stuff needed around d house... It's a gradual process and we are getting there. We have schl appointment for d kids on 9th April...my son is 3 and would be in preschl for 100$ a mnth ...4hrs a day, 3x a week. My dauta is 4+and will be in senior kindergarten for free. We chose to do Catholic schl. It's public holiday today n monday so we 've got to rest until Tuesday. That's part of our story...it's incomplete...the rest parts on jobs and etc is loading... UNTO THE IMMORTAL KING BE BLESSING AND GLORY & HONOR FOR EVER AND EVER.... AMEN. Thanks to everyone here who was part of ma journey. Vcole, 40man, Esosa, zandora,Jesusdway, dupysho, etc... May God bless us all. Cheers. 107 Likes 12 Shares |
