haha they are implying Moses Simon but also giving other information pointing elsewhere.. I guess trying to be careful, but at the same planning to be the first to break the news.. stupid reporting.. Anyway, it's April Fools Day lol
Very stupid...I don't like guy at all. Thinks he's the best thing since sliced bread

Abeg we don't need hype or Ibe whatever his name is..he is just an average player, I don see the guy finish.. Nothing special he is gonna offer the SE...most of his direct running have no end product(Moses Simon 2.0) we don't need another one in the team..

Let him keep waiting for the queens call, he would surely get it when he is 40..

You call it hype, nobody is hyping him.

He is just an average player I wouldn't disagree but if he is just average what then is Musa, Nwakali, Nwakaeme, Ajayi, etc

I actually do not think he will come to the SE.

However, put him in the SE playing a more technical based ball on the deck and you will see a completely different player. Playing 40 ➕ games for Liverpool Fc is not ewah and dodo.

Kelechi is very lethal but he doesn't know how to hold up play nor free himself from defenders. That's what makes him struggle as a CF

What you are saying diplomatically is the attributes required to make you a true striker he only has one. Lethal finishing with one foot the left.

They are arguing it ooo. They say it can never happen. That once you are declared fit it means you are absolutely fit. One moniker even went as far as saying Rohr must be an idiot, a fool, a stupid man to play a possibly not fully fit Ebuehi.

Thank you for reminding me of the bandage on Zidane's knee. I vividly recall.

Even our own Keshi played matches with injury not to talk of fitness. Oliseh came from hospital to play in our Afcon match in 2000 against Senegal.

These things happen regularly.

In Ebuehi's case though Rohr should be blamed cos it was just a friendly and Aina was on the bench.
I think Rohr invited Aina for the LB position, from the Serbian friendly you can deduce that Ebuehi and Shehu are our RBs.

Well I had to concede that point to my interlocutors cos it's obvious he wants Aina on the left but since it was a friendly I don't think it would have been a bad idea to try Aina on the right at half time.

Don't forget Cyril DESSERS!!!
How can we have a bench warmer as our 9 to the WC ?

Rohr said no playing time,no world cup.

Our first-choice 9 must be on hot form with regular playing time, keeping in mind that Iheanacho is a back-up.

For someone with pace, I find it odd and to be honest - frustrating at times.
It's something he should be working on...

If he does very well be it a friendly or not Nigerians will insist that he bcoms our RB.
Leaving only Echiejile and Idowu for the LB.

Let me give you another instance here. Ronaldo whilst playing as a 7 usually operates as a 9, some coaches ended up playing him as a 9 but he never performs as a 9, but when he is playing as a 7 he can operate very well through the middle.

There are other examples like this too but I believe you should get my point, he may be best suited as a winger drifting in unmarked, but when you are the AMF, the DMF is always on you and disrupts your flow, that is my point. Besides why try Iwobi there when we have good players we can invite there? Al Hassan has been clocking up minutes in Austria as an AMF, Aluko plays as a psuedo-AMF and probably if we look closer we will see other people. High time we play our players in their positions
Simple question: where has Iwobi been effective from in the Gwg. Wing or from the middle?

for those of you clamouring for Sadiq Umar , i have taken my time to watch majority of all his highlights and contributions to his team , he is far from been the striker we need ... he may grow to become one if he works towards it .... presently its A BIG RISK FOR ROHR . to take the lad to the world cup ... out of every 3 attacks he has initiated he has fallen twice or 3 of every 3 times he tends to take on a defender ... every Sadiq Umar 's supporters on this forum .... look at yourself in the mirror and tell your self the truth . presently that kind of player will not gel in that team .. until he grows into that strong and energetic striker ... come 2022.

I have never said, Umar Sadiq should be invited to the team.. He is already a strong, energetic striker.. He needs to add finishing and final ball to his attributes.

I have however said that he is quality... For his limited time in the eredivise, he has made team of the week a number of times already. It is not as if we are overflowing with great strikers. He will cause more trouble for defenders than some of our strikers with his directness.

I have watched him several times he is tall but he does fall over very easily. I didnt want to say anything because I have only seen clips.

He is tall but not strong.

I asked why for someone who is supposed to have so much potential why has he not broken into the first team of Roma. A total of 18 career games at the age of 21 is to be honest very poor.

He is not a replacement or even contender for the no.9 in the SE. He has a long way to go.

Can someone please help me with Philip Anyanwu Billing's starts because I'm tired of seeing only defensive midfielders in Eagles that's why we ain't creative enough.

Besides I read he has Nigerian passport and will jump at the opportunity to represent the GWG to honour the Anyanwu family of Ngor okpala, Imo State.

We dont need Ibe,Yes Musa is an Average player but we dont need ibe,if he played 40 games for liverpool and so what? forget about nwakali nwakaeme and ajayi, they are not going to the world cup.

Musa is not that bad its just that he drop his form since his arrival at leichester,Mind you Musa cost more than Ibe to Leicester city.

How many goals does Ibe scores how many assist does ibe give? go and check stats

In 93 permier league games ibe has only 3 goals, you think Musa will play 93 premier league and have 3 goals? In Musa 21 premier league games with less playing time and bad form,He has 2 goals.

Stop following name, you just believe any player who is an halfcast should just be slot into the super eagles,After the world cup Ibe should come for the nations cup qualifier if he want to play for nigeria

Wilfred Zaha did not wait for Ivory coast to qualify for the world cup before he joined them,he even played afcon with them,he played in the world cup qualifier which they fail to qualify, wilfred zaha will go to the world cup with england if he did not change to ivory coast,He is england best winger this season after raheem sterling.

Arsenal Join Liverpool, Man United In Three-way Race For Ndidi

 0 April 1, 2018 2:20 pm

Arsenal have joined the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United in the race to sign Super Eagles and Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi.

According to Daily Mail, a source close to Ndidi revealed this to English newspaper The Sun.

Ndidi, 21, has been impressive since joining Leicester in a £15million deal from Belgian side Genk in January 2017.

He has featured 36 times for Leicester this season in all competitions including Saturday’s 2-0 win at Brighton – a game in which he was sent off, the second time this season.

“There has been so much interest in him. He is going to be a top player and Arsenal have been in contact,” the source told The Sun.

“They want to sign him this summer.
“Arsene Wenger is a manager he admires a lot and his friend Alex Iwobi has told him lots of great things about the club.
“But there is no shortage of offers. Liverpool have shown strong interest and [Manchester] United.”

Ndidi was in action for the Super Eagles in their two friendlies against Poland and Serbia.

Rohr Comments On Performance of Super Eagles Fans Favorite Joel Obi & Iheanacho

Gernot Rohr has commented on the performance of Leicester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho for the Super Eagles during the last international break of the 2017-2018 season.

Against Poland, Rohr deployed a 4-4-1-1 formation with Iheanacho playing behind top striker Odion Ighalo, and the German thinks the Foxes number eight and another left-footed player Joel Obi did well.

''I know my players, Kelechi is running so much and fighting for his starting place, it is very important that we have this competition, he is a left footer and we don’t have so many left footers,'' Rohr said to
Omasports.

''We also tried Joel Obi for the first time since I have been the coach of the Super Eagles.

''He is a left footer, we need some left footers in the team and he did well, Iheanacho also, he is fighting and pressing hard, he is able to score.''

Iheanacho was not in Nigeria's match day squad against Serbia on March 27 due to injury and will undergo a late fitness test before Leicester City's Premier League clash at Brighton.

On the other hand, Torino midfielder Joel Obi put his injury worries behind him and was named in the starting line-up in the two international friendlies.

I saw how this boy bullied PSG defenders in preseason. I have little doubt, he will be one of the super eagles strikers soon.

Jordan Ibe has had several caps but he is still average. Bony was more experienced than Kelechi in Mancity but was less effective..

If Sadiq was Belgium or Holland, he would have had several first team caps. It is not always easy for young players at big clubs.
