I am referring to the home-based falcons

There are few homebased players on the pitch

Sebi I spoke about that very lean midfield.... Too easy to walk through.

France 5-0 up by the way.

Yes and people said we would make up for it because we have wingers and strikers. This is what happens when people think the rules of football changes just because it is women playing.

We both saw this coming naa.... From the list alone we knew we were gonna be overrun. Well, first real match (for rhe foriegn based as a group) after hibernating for a year plus now... So uhmmmm... Yeah... Let's just be done with this game and look forward.

May god judge Pinnick for this wickedness they have done to these girls. They have been delivered for slaughter.

This loss pains me bad, this is the first time I have ever stopped watching a match Nigeria is playing out of disgust. If I was a crier I would be crying right now because this hurts. We are much better than this.

The only error so far to me is playing France or any of these big names first. It was unwise.. you're just regrouping and the first game to play is a French side that has a vibrant league with their girls playing week in and out.

Pinnick is to be blamed here.

Certainly we are much better than this and that partly explains why we are not executing this game with some of our main star ladies... Oshoala, Ayinde, Oluehi, Alaba Jonathan, Rasheedat Ajibade, Igbinovia, Onome Ebi, Sarah Michael, just to mention a few would have made this team look much better....

But let this game be over shaa... We know we were fielding a super depleted team against The French's Olympique Lyonnais-inspired juggernauts....

This loss does not really leave me so sad because I know this is not the true might of the Super Falcons....

Meanwhile it is 8-0 now....

We would never learn, like l said before immediately l heard the news of the friendly last year, playing Frances or Germany at this stage doesn't help our national team in any way. The Alanya(turkish) cup would have been perfect.

The last time we suffered this kinda defeat was on 25.11.2010 when Germany walloped us by the same goal margin...I thought I will never experience such an embarrassing moment with this team again...too bad it's happening 8 years later.

It's a good thing they lost; it will make their handlers know they have no team yet and has alot to work on...Plus these people should pls work on the Women's league; it's killing female football in the country.

Please don't even start making up bogus excuses. How did he know to pick the one's that he picked? Are u saying the he didn't assess the team before he took the job? Lets get real. Against one of the most potent offenses in the world we played with 4 defenders and 6 attackers, that is just ridiculous and u know it. If this was Okon or Dedevbo people would be calling for heads.

These girls play in league all around the world. It is not the league that should sit up but the NFF and coach.

Oshoala was a big miss today, I know even with our coach's poor tactics she still would have got the ball and made something out of nothing. She is very much our Messi and it showed today.

I am totally sure that she would have made a difference because she can create a moment out of nothing. With all the offensive players we had our attack had no bite. We had enough of the ball but we just could not make any end road, that is where Super Zee comes in. There is no player that has her size and athleticism, I personal think she is fast enough to run track for Nigeria. She is one the best players Africa has ever produced and yet she has so much more room for improvement. I have utmost trust in this player.
