Well, Well, Well, Enugu has been one place I've been wanting to visit for so long after the hype occasioned by sheer bigotry and sentiments by the Igbos. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement, I was raged filled at how people could celebrate mediocrity this far in the 21st century. Enugu was just an average city filled with annoying red earth and dusts all over. What's so special? nothing. Independence layout, new haven, trans ekulu, G.r.a, ziks avenue, okpara avenue, ogui road, emene, presidential road, all this places just seemed like what it's like in owerri, which I think the area around concord beats this places by far. Gosh, I couldn't wait to return back to Lagos. Almost every taxi is for hire, buses everywhere including 18th century lorries. Omo the only thing I enjoyed about the town is their shoprite, everything else was just annoying. how can a whole tribe be wrong? anybody that ever says Enugu is more developed than Ibadan or Port Harcourt is hereby declared a fool. Damn it!.

Seriously, why torture yourself instead of just running out of that hell hole?

Ibadan alone has several Cinemas and 2 Shoprites, including the largest Shoprite in Nigeria.

Poor backward and stone age Igbos

but why are you guys capitalizing on pictures? do you need pictures to show that there was no cinema to chill with popcorn? do you need pictures to show that there was no bridge or interchange to make someone feel like he's in a city? what if my camera was bad, what if I have reservations about taking shots in public? if you bring up the issues of pictures I'll just assume you're a sinking man and holding onto something for survival. it's that simple.

We don't need photos to prove anything, he made his claim, now, it's your turn to prove him wrong with your own claims and even sef, there are tons of pictures on google to cement what he asserted.

He said, they don't have a single Movie theater in Enugu, it's now your turn to prove him wrong by showing us any functioning Movie Theater in Enugu.

I'm sure the OP is most likely not from Ogbomosho, but even if he's from Ogbomosho, they do have a Movie Theater in Ogbomosho, a town in Oyo state, but you don't have 1 single Cinema in a whole state in the SE, a major SE state if I just add.

Jokes apart, that's very very sad.

Enugu remains our pride anytime anyday and nobody even from Enugu state can take it from any Igbo man irrespective of where he/she comes from in Igboland, choke on that revelation. It remains our eternal capital, spirit, body and soul.

LMAO. Delusions of a Yoruba moozlem headslammer who can't aford t-fare to move from his father's hut in Osobo to go and start hawking agbo jedi jedi and claiming he's from Lagos like his other brothers. cheesy cheesy cheesy

Enugu is by all standards, the most planed, peaceful, beautiful, organized and livable city in the zoo country.

Go back to your hut, poor yoromoozlem. wink

I'm a proud Nigerian despite that we have stupid, wicked, greedy and satanic leaders who are largely hausas, yorubas and igbos in top position (presidential, senatorial, ministerial) over the years in Nigeria. Every tribe is guilty! For me, I don't fancy anywhere else in 9ja compared to Lagos but calling Nigeria a zoo is what makes me reply you. You are a fool if you still carry that failed kanu-biafran mentality. I thought this has been put to bed? I'm not saying Nigeria is where we want it to be but I don't regret being a Nigerian. I didn't make myself.

Nigeria is not the problem but the people becos of tribalism, nepotism etc. Na here God create me and I can't change that because He has a reason. Once you have the Nigerian blood if you like go to America, you are a Nigerian. You cease to exist if you don't acknowledge where you ar from. All those French black footballer, Akon, Jidenna and so on, they all know where they are from. If you don't acknowledge it then you are stupid without a source or root. If you say where you come from is a zoo, then nothing stops you bro. You are likewise an animal!

Don't think you are dissing other Nigerians, that make you an animal too.

Anyways, I have a big news for you; only animals are kept or trappd in zoos. If you say Nigeria is a zoo then u are an animal becos you are trapped here in Nigeria since u claim not to be a Nigeria and as such you don't live freely.

I think the fact that Yorubas know nothing about that region gives them an edge

Stop crying, movie theaters are parts and signs of development and it depicrs development. Even disputing that fact says a lot about your own backwardness.

You are right about one thing though, a backward place like that will give me nightmares just like it did OP.
