butch411:Just apply when you are ready and worry less about linking the new application with the old. They already have it and will definitely check through your previous record with them and will still reassign the UCI of previous to the new application. That's their job. Yours is to apply with matching details of the previous. |

Good evening everyone, I submitted my Canada Study Permit Application sometime last week. I received a mail from VFS that my application has been submitted. However, I have been trying to link my application online to no avail. I also noticed my application was forwarded to the Lagos Visa Office and not Accra. My VFS tracking also starts with CALA rather than the usal GHAN. Do the Canada Visa Office in Nigeria now process Study Permits? Someone help, please. Thank you. 1 Like |

hotcakept2: Hello bro, your question caught my interest. I also intend to study for my masters abroad. In my own case i graduated with a third class degree in elect/elect engineering. So i guess i have to also do a PGD before i will be allowed to do my masters. From what you said i believe you have finished your PGD in Canada. I would like to know more details about the PGD, how much it cost you, the duration, the conditions and requirements etc. Please any other person with knowledge about what I'm asking for can also help me. Thank you. |

Biakwa:Biakwa, Yes! Visa officers goes through CV's once attached with applicant application, as it provides clarity to the visa officer on her expertise, but stating she has an MBA (certificate not yet collected) won't be a reason for a refusal. It pose to be a problem only if she is going for an MBA program in Canada. If not, I don't see any problem here. You can as well acquire this MBA certificate and send it directly to CIC via email and it will be quickly attached with her ongoing processing application. All the best! |

Look for an airline that will not ask for fit to fly e.g. delta. Air France will take you up to 36 weeks for singleton and no stress pregnancy. Go with fit to fly from your doctor not later than 3 days from date of travel and back it up with port health fit To fly on date of travel. With all these she is good to go croyance: |

Aghatise: A sound SOP must be well paragraphed and each must serve a purpose. It must contain the following: Brief introduction of yourself, your academic background and work experience. Your intending program, school, start date and duration. Reasons for choosing the program. Reasons for choosing the school. Reasons for choosing Canada instead of doing the program in Nigeria. How will the program benefit you? Narrow the benefits to economic, academic or career. Is your undergrad degree related to the intending program or your work experience? This must be addressed. What are your goals? Where do you see yourself in 5 years time? Have your traveled out of Nigeria before? If no, why? How do you intend to finance your studies in Canada? Scholarship? Self-sponsor? This must be stated with proof (SOA or sponsorship letter) shown. Make a checklist of all the documents you're submitting with your application. A well written SOP addresses all the denial reasons: purpose of visit, travel history, insufficient fund, home tie, asset & current employment situation etc. Best of luck. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Travel history 4 years bachelors program in Cyprus finished and came back last year October. 10 days tourist visa to The Republic of Georgia, 3 days transit visa turkey , entered the country. Please guys is having a travel history a good thing or does it equally delay your application cos of background checks, cos I’ve seen people with no travel history get medical call or TRV faster between this March and April , I did Mum Biometrics on 1st March btw Image shows my current state. Have deferred my May admission to September however.

jnyuwa02: HI jnyuwa02 Should the "someone" be a relative. If no how can the person convince the vo that he/her would Co sponsor. Because I'm in a similar situation Thanks |

sogima: I think people with travel history , goes through a lot of scrutiny during processing. I applied for TRU kamloops BC , which school did you apply? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by jnyuwa02: 3:30pm On Apr 22, 2018 |
sheriff88: No the person doesn’t have to be a relative, although close relatives sponsors are more credible to the VO as means of support. Why is this third person sponsor interested in sponsoring you? Has there been credible evidence of past support from this person or he just came out of the woodworks having a moment of revelation to sponsor you? You have to be ready to defend adequately these questions. |
