You shouldn't be posting this because it contains very vital information of your profile with IRCC(Your UCI and application number). Remove the picture or better still you can crop out those information. They are strictly confidentiality and for you only.

Regards.

Hello House..I have been denied twice sometime in 2013 paper route and online..But I got a job and I didn't bother applying again.5years later I intend to go back to school and apply for study permit..please how do I link my old application with my current application so they know I have applied before? Will they create a new UCI number for me ? Or is my old UCI number for the previous online application still valid? Your quick response would appreciated.
Just apply when you are ready and worry less about linking the new application with the old. They already have it and will definitely check through your previous record with them and will still reassign the UCI of previous to the new application. That's their job. Yours is to apply with matching details of the previous.

Good evening great mind,

I have a big issue that needs to be tackle now.
We have exactly what we need to do to re-aply and we have submitted a week ago. But I noticed that she went and Old cv which carry her MBA program(certificate not even yet Collected) In her first application it was not mention in the CV. And was rejected on financial ground. Now we paid full tuition and funds available just she has went to use old cv that has MBA mentioned.

Please I want to get various comment on this. Does it pose a bad signal to her application. Do they even need Cv in this application?

Can we recall

Please Frank, juwon and other great people please comment

Good evening everyone,

I submitted my Canada Study Permit Application sometime last week. I received a mail from VFS that my application has been submitted. However, I have been trying to link my application online to no avail. I also noticed my application was forwarded to the Lagos Visa Office and not Accra. My VFS tracking also starts with CALA rather than the usal GHAN. Do the Canada Visa Office in Nigeria now process Study Permits? Someone help, please.

Thank you.

I didn't do police character certificate. Its not compulsory. As for the better route, i cant really say. Though i did online route but paper route is cheaper because u will pay the application fee at vfs when u go and submit, so no bank charge. I realised this when i was given receipt for the the online payment at vfs when i went for biometrics. The amount on the receipt they wrote was not same with what gtb charged me. So it means the rest cash went to gtb.
Thanks alot. Any other information you think I might need? Please I really need info and advise. I paid Activity fee on Friday and it is non refundable and will pay tution fee on monday. so I want to get it right to avoid loss of money. Please assist me (vizzle4sure@gmail.com)

I beg again

Please ooooooooo.......does anyone know if it is possible to apply for masters with a 2.2 after the completion of PDG in a canadian college?

Cc Austinpee4 Justwise yemdogg Osemigho

Hello bro, your question caught my interest. I also intend to study for my masters abroad. In my own case i graduated with a third class degree in elect/elect engineering. So i guess i have to also do a PGD before i will be allowed to do my masters. From what you said i believe you have finished your PGD in Canada. I would like to know more details about the PGD, how much it cost you, the duration, the conditions and requirements etc. Please any other person with knowledge about what I'm asking for can also help me. Thank you.

Biakwa,

Yes! Visa officers goes through CV's once attached with applicant application, as it provides clarity to the visa officer on her expertise, but stating she has an MBA (certificate not yet collected) won't be a reason for a refusal. It pose to be a problem only if she is going for an MBA program in Canada. If not, I don't see any problem here.
You can as well acquire this MBA certificate and send it directly to CIC via email and it will be quickly attached with her ongoing processing application.

All the best!

Look for an airline that will not ask for fit to fly e.g. delta. Air France will take you up to 36 weeks for singleton and no stress pregnancy.
Go with fit to fly from your doctor not later than 3 days from date of travel and back it up with port health fit
To fly on date of travel.
With all these she is good to go

Evening Guys - appreciate a breakdown of the structure of an SOP. Thanks.

A sound SOP must be well paragraphed and each must serve a purpose. It must contain the following:

Brief introduction of yourself, your academic background and work experience.

Your intending program, school, start date and duration.

Reasons for choosing the program. Reasons for choosing the school. Reasons for choosing Canada instead of doing the program in Nigeria. How will the program benefit you? Narrow the benefits to economic, academic or career.

Is your undergrad degree related to the intending program or your work experience? This must be addressed.

What are your goals? Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?

Have your traveled out of Nigeria before? If no, why?

How do you intend to finance your studies in Canada? Scholarship? Self-sponsor? This must be stated with proof (SOA or sponsorship letter) shown.

Make a checklist of all the documents you're submitting with your application.

A well written SOP addresses all the denial reasons: purpose of visit, travel history, insufficient fund, home tie, asset & current employment situation etc.

Best of luck.

Travel history 4 years bachelors program in Cyprus finished and came back last year October. 10 days tourist visa to The Republic of Georgia, 3 days transit visa turkey , entered the country.

Please guys is having a travel history a good thing or does it equally delay your application cos of background checks, cos I’ve seen people with no travel history get medical call or TRV faster between this March and April , I did Mum Biometrics on 1st March btw

Image shows my current state. Have deferred my May admission to September however.

It won’t fly with CIC. You have to find someone to say they will support you and show evidence of money in their bank available. It’s worth a try finding someone and applying. When you reach Canada the “other sources” unconfirmed by the school might materialize.

HI jnyuwa02
Should the "someone" be a relative.
If no how can the person convince the vo that he/her would Co sponsor. Because I'm in a similar situation

Thanks

No the person doesn’t have to be a relative, although close relatives sponsors are more credible to the VO as means of support. Why is this third person sponsor interested in sponsoring you? Has there been credible evidence of past support from this person or he just came out of the woodworks having a moment of revelation to sponsor you? You have to be ready to defend adequately these questions.
