EdoNation: When we are done with your guys here you will begin to doubt your Edo roots. You need to go ahead and register a BiniNation before someone else gets it. We are going to separate the Bini from the Edo and demystify your hoax called Ekaladherwn. If you cant find Ekaladheran...your entire Edo story falls apart. You must explain with placements and history where he is. Im not letting any of youu off the hook till you locate the fugitive. 1 Like 2 Shares |

And you were there to witness it all (time travel much ?) FYI: you were also there to witness the emptyness of Lagos before awori arrival ? Also, you were there to witness the existance of oduduwa ? Obalufon: Yoruba low self esteem as usual, rewriting o history is yoruba national sports. It is very weird that the same yoruba who says a lot of things without proof also goes on to say that Edo need to prove their claims. Can any of you yoruba-centric foools prove that Omo n'Oba n'Edo originates from ife ? An other irony is that the fellow accusing Edo people of having a "story pregnant with fables" is the same who brings up a mythical figure "Oranmiyan" into a serious conversation. Let me repete this to you yoruba lots. You are highly misguided and your efforts to deny your history is pushing you into madness ! Nobody originates from ife. Ife is just one small village/kingdom which had a shrine and that is all. Don't take my word for it, look at the precolonial maps. Also stop talking about "Edo-story". The documents I keep bringing are historical documents (made in the same period as the events they describe). We Edo are being objective and proving each of our points. Yet you yoruba madmen are still tcalling this Edo-opinion while you keep telling stories with no proof and confusing fairytales with actual history. prolog2:Just imaging a childless thought with no value? Another lie about Bini standing Army? Which standing army that you couldn't even fight Herdsmen without guns in Bini, when Cattle overran some schools in Edo? So pathetic. Go do your research on how Yoruba have been dealing with them. Ask what Yoruba did to the non law abiding ones in Ile Ife, Akure ,Ekiti etc Yoruba don't need federal assistance on such issues because we can defend ourselves. Although, nobody really want war but if it happens, Yoruba will defend her country. Have you even seen Oduacoin? This is to show, the mindsets of average genuine Yorubas. It is you that rant online about Edo only and nothing to show for her growth. And here you are claiming what didn't happen in the past because Prince Henry of Portugal, the navigator, was the one that had to launch expeditions to sail beyond the West Coast of Africa to discover a new route to India. Aided by the Papal Bulls of the 1450s, which had secured their rights to the African Coasts, the Portuguese had by 1480, completed their exploration of the West Coast and were able to settle down to its fruits "mainly in gold from Mina and PEPPERS from BINI. You are a bloody peppers seller in 14–15 century. Yoruba nation far far ahead of You. This is another fit of Yorubas. We don't rant because we work. Behold ODUACOIN 1 Like 1 Share

To the guy posting precolonial maps, you are showing maps drawn by traders who were told by Benin how far their land extended and put it on map without verification or validation. This was in a time of pre-contact with the hinterlands and other coastal peoples. After contacts with all the lands and validations they realized you were nobody in the classical civilizations of African peoples pre colonial rules and subdivision of African lands. So they corrected the map and issued a true map of political realms of civilized Empires. Here is the true and validated version of civilizations in Africa. Please expand the map and find Edoland for us. If you cannot find Edoland, find Benin kingdom. If you cannot, explain why these places are not found in the list of civilized Africans, pre European contact. You can clearly see Ife is the ruling domain and center of civilization over the entire West Niger. 1 Like 2 Shares

And I suppose you were there to witness what you alledge ? I guess the people of Benin Kingdom were thinking (700 years ago) about how to fake precolonial maps so that when nigeria would be created, some Edo would be able to show those maps on nairaland. I also guess the traders and the map experts who came to establish trade routes and gather as much information as possible thought it were best to have blind trust on people whom they didn't even know and with whom conversation was difficult. Yeah just throw away proof by the wave of a hand and then provide a fake map to buttress your fake claims. Just take a look at your laughable map it is supposed to be showing the borders more than 200000 years ago ! ? How old is your silly map (I bet the guy who made it is still alive). Why must yoruba cover themselves with ridicule all the time ? History is not for 419. I have just noticed that your map was made with a computer. The irony: you try to rubbish authentic maps and then you proceed to replace them with fake maps which are more in accordance with your claims and beliefs. This is the yoruba attitude, you live in a fantastic world. You believe you can rewrite the passt by just refusing the truth and making up your own "truth". MetaPhysical: 2 Likes 1 Share |

I went into Nairaland archives to review debates on Ife-Benin heirarchy and surprised about two findings. 1. There are tons of aged threads and shows this issue has been going on for long time. I gave up the review at a point. 2. In everyone of them that I saw and scanned through, without a single exception, fatigued by the barrage of assaults and verbal attacks, Yorubas backed out and left the threads giving Edos the last word. This particular thread is different. Yorubas are on the assault and tenacious. Im sure Edos are shocked at the unexpected doggedness of the Yorubas on this thread. It's out of character for the Oduduwas to go this long in a verbal turf battle...but they are. I see the Edos showing fatigue on this thread. This goes to truth of the saying that Yorubas are laid back and quick to yield even when they stand on truth, however they can be unpredictable, when they charge forward...they come out for total demolition. |
