Pls disregard any rumour making the rounds about Sallah being ruled out of the World Cup. I had to stay awake to follow Skysports report on his shoulder development. Preliminary tests shows its not severe. Their report suggests he could be out for a fortnight not missing the World Cup. This is a confirmed report from the hospital now, I started with Supersports 3 when Klopp said he doesn't know his situation at the time but he knows he was taken to the hospital. I had to switch to Skysports cos they had a reporter monitoring proceedings. Pls Seun and his moderators should confirm news stories first before pushing it to Frontpage. Good morning!

Better than our keepers because he has the opportunity. That is why I will keep calling for us to do more to give our talents exposure.

I'm so much disappointed as you are. I supported Liverpool through out the match.

It is a bitter and very sad moment seeing your best player been injured intentionally. But you need to look at the larger picture. Teams do a lot of things that might not be fair to the opponent to edge their opponents. This is not the first time it will happen and it won't be the last.
Italy took out Henry and Zidane in 2006 before they could win the WORLD CUP. France took out Onazi so as to get edge over us. Neymar, and so on.

We have seen so many cases where players are brought on to draw foul off their opponents, diving etc. These things might be wrong but they are part of the BIGGER PLAN

Yesterday's game was just too painful... Ramos really planned it well... I really hope Salah will b fit before the world cup otherwise, the Egyptians and their Arab friends won't take it easy o...

As for Karius, mehn I was so mad at him for those two errors... If Uzoho make that kind of mistake at the world cup, then his football career might just be over for good.. Karius is receiving serious threats from Liverpool fans right now.. Uzoho is still very young, it will b terrible for him to go through that route now .

And then I'm being told it's part of the game. Dislocating someone's hand. Matuidi taking out Onazi is part of the game. It would be part of the game when somebody gets killed too abi
what's even more painful is how Ramos was trying to exonerate himself by saying Salah was at fault for everything. Imagine having a fellow sports man's hand firmly turked into yours and executing your KO then coming out to blame him for it. He has literally squashed the guy's hope of appearing in the biggest football stage there is. A feat the country never achieved in over 20yrs.

Now champions league he no see, world cup he no go see.... It's definitely going to affect M.Salah psychologically

Dislocation is usually short term... It depend on how bad though.
I wish it wasn't a serious injury, but here is what klopp had to say

“Salah’s shoulder injury seems very serious. His shoulder or his clavicles is broken. He is likely to miss the World Cup”

Egypt will take him regardless but he may not play a single game.

Arabs are just like the Fulanis. They don't forgive.

Should Mohammed Salah miss this WC Sergio Ramos and Spain as a whole should better watch it. Football is more than a game in Egypt.

Salah is like a God to the Egyptians. They have toiled for 28 years without going to the WC. Mohammed Salah helped them qualify. But one wicket Sergio Ramos dislocated his shoulder blade. And if Salah misses the WC..... truly it can soil diplomatic relationship between Egypt And Spain. I won't be surprised to wake up tomorrow morning to hear that the Spanish embassy in Cairo has been burnt down.
your head dey there

I can bet about 80% of people do not want Akpeyi in goal for us despite all his experience. Emma Daniel was a better option to Akpeyi despite Akpeyi's experience. Ederson is a better choice to Claudio Bravo despite Bravo's experience and multiple titles. Joe Hart despite his limited experience was a preferred choice to Shay Given despite all the experience of Shay Given.

Experience is not a guarantee.

Definitely experience is never a guarantee. Just like talent alone is never a guarantee but it is always better when you have a goalkeeper you have seen perform over and over and you can trust he is relatively reliable.

You cannot go and pick a rookie and put in goal and be comfortable and say experience doesn't matter.

And the truth is the goalkeeping department is where experience matters most

And also note that for the WC Akpeyi does not fall into the category of experienced goalies.

But abeg answer Petrobros' question, can you hire an inexperienced driver for yourself or for your company?

Did the NFF carry out an inspection visit to this venue before they agreed to have the game there?

This kind of pitch can even cause injuries.
