Sir, check what I just posted.
tbaba1234:

All those that named 23 had players also named as standby. I understand they can only pick from that list.

Well read what the regulation says.

tbaba1234:

My understanding is that your choices will be limited to the provisional list except for special circumstances.

Some teams choose 23 and standby... The replacement for the 23 comes from the standby.

The Belgium league is not covered on whoscored.com so the stats are incomplete. It is not one of the leagues on that platform.

Simon Moses started several games on the bench, same did Kalu and Esiti.

He is important to their team but so his Kalu. Your initial statement is inaccurate as they are not in direct competition with each other.

This information is false.

Simon Moses started only one game from the bench throughout the whole season and it was because he just came back from injury while Samuel Kalu started 8 matches on the bench.

It is not the same. Thank you

How many wingers do we have more in the team? Just Musa and Moses.. and maybe Iwobi. Rohr had said he picked 2 players in each position first before a meeting with all the rest of the staff to decide the remaining players to make the 30 man list. I want to guess that there might be a call up to replace Moses Simon. Success, Onyekuru? Have your guess.. unless Rohr is satisfied with Lokosa as a winger. Just thinking.

Ighalo can play from the wing but that will eliminate the only top 9 we have....Rohr should have considered a 35 man list.

That Simon Moses didn't start from the bench several times but only once when available and it was because he can back from injury?

That Samuel Kalu started 8 times from the bench eventhough he was available?

If this was the conclusion after the issue has been resolved, no wahala besides this na false information.

E Don be for Simon Moses

JUST IN: Moses ruled out of World Cup

Only 29 players are left in the race to represent Nigeria at the World Cup in Russia.

Moses Simon, one of the players in the 30-man shortlist, has been ruled out the World Cup.

Simon who plays for Belgian Jupiler League side, Gent, will not be making the trip to London for the friendly against England, let alone the World Cup in Russia.

Rohr confirned to PREMIUM TIMES in Port Harcourt that Simon’s World Cup dreams is over

“It is unfortunate Moses Simon will not be travelling with the team on Tuesday because he is down with an injury,” Rohr said on Sunday

“The nature of his injury is such that he won’t be recovering quickly enough to make the World Cup,” he added.

The German tacticician is expected to drop four more players after Monday’s friendly game against DR Congo.

But Ighalo may only play on the wings if any two Of Moses, Iwobi and Musa are not on the pitch.Which is not very likely.

I will if he proves that the goals and assists that earned him a place in the List wasn't a fluke or flash in the pan. The coaching crew are not foolish for inviting him. You talking as if home based players haven't been to the World Cup and performed in the past. Go check history.

The dude should be given a fair chance in the subsequent in training and the friendlies to allow him prove himself. Who knows. He could be the genius we've been hoping for. 18 goals in 21 appearances have you ever heard that happen before in the Nigerian league? Even in Europe it's not common.
Come on.

Well, I agree with you on your second paragraph. He should be given a fair chance but I doubt he can be what we are waiting for.

That won't stop the player from getting injured and sometimes won't even get the other player booked.
