I ain't convinced we are ready yet for the Mundial. The Team-play ain't convincing enough that we can make it pass the Group Stage.

I'm gonna pass my Verdict and made up my Expectation on the Team after the England and Czech Republic Matches respectively. But so far, except maybe the Argentina Match, I ain't convinced we've a ready Squad for the World Cup.

There are things I'm hoping to see from the Team-play, Individual performances as well as how tactically Sound is Rohr on a World Stage. I wanna see Eagles that gonna lighten up the World, that their Style of Play gonna be a Joy to watch.

Though nothing is impossible, but we shouldn't raise our Expectations too high on the Team, rather ready to support the Team regardless to the outcome of their Performance in Russia - cos the Team is a Work in Progress.
my dear, there is something I always say- You never know how ready you are for an exam, until you see the questions.

Sometimes, you don't give your all in a test, but when the exam comes, it's a different ball game

Rohr himself have always said the team has no star and they are ranked lowest in the group. Almost like he is giving excuse for failure in view ....

Some optimistic view point.

Nigeria progressed from group stage in 1994 and 1998 respectively,

Nigeria once again progressed from group stage in 2014....so, we will most likely progress to the KO Rounds again in 2018.

94-14, 98-18

See as I dey give myself hope grin grin

You are crashing out !!! Face it

i am currently watching nigeria v poland friendly. defense seem to be the thing that characterizes our game now. we are described as the counter attacking team. the ball is played in our pitch. we dont control the game. when did we start playing this kind of football?
If counter attacking football is what's going to make us go pass round of 16 or even win the world Cup, so be it.

The times we've been playing attacking football, we must wait for what our opponents play in their last matches to know if we'll qualify for world Cup or even go beyond group stage in the Cup world.

Now that we are playing counter attacking football, we qualify with a game to spare.

If that's what going to get the job done, let's play it.

Croatia coach comments on our friendly match with Dr Congo

''There was a mixed team, Simon Moses was injured. They are terribly strong out of the box, in the launching of the attack, fast, but their weak point is the defense phase. We'll see what we can do about it,'' Dalic said to Sportske Novosti.

''Surely they are not better than us, in any case, we just have to prepare well.''

''We will score a goal, but we must be very careful and keep the defensive shape. The Nigerians are dangerous from the position and punish you if you are weakly closed and go away with a lot of players ahead,'' he concluded.

The Lineup and the Formation. If it's left for me, I will rather prefer we play 3 - 5 - 2 Formation - that's playing to the Team's Strength.

Against England, I will prefer to go with the below Lineup;

------------------- Akpeyi--------------------

Omeruo---------- Balogun ----------- Ekong

Tyrone-------- Ogu ----- Agu ---------- Aina

-------------------- Mikel ---------------------

----------- Iwobi

------------------- Iheanacho -----------------

Then in the 2nd Half I will replace Iwobi with Moses (if he's fit) or Musa and Ighalo for Iheanacho. Also Shehu will come in Tyrone, while Idowu replaces Aina. Awaziem will replace Omeruo, Onazi and Joel will replace Ogu and Agu respectively. Finally Uzoho comes in Akpeyi to show more of his Capabilities.
against England? I can't laugh. Without Mike and Ndidi no middle

Since 1966, the most dribbles completed in a World Cup match is 15, by Jay Jay Okocha for Nigeria against Italy in July 1994. Showboat. #OptaWCCountdown

It's really a dangerous thing this reliance on Mikel. Mikel's presence is not about the position he plays for us as such, it's his presence. Something comes alive. This guys must have studied us and let's see how Mikel will survive their clamp down.
Exactly. That is why I'm even more worried about this our two destroyer thing. Can Ndidi - Onazi handle the ball when being pressed?? Best believe Croatia will press us hard

Rest. Rest. Be still. You don't have an idea how corrupt Nigeria is and that is why when I see you crying I get angry at your naivety. I don't even have problem with corruption in Nigeria. My problem is our hypocrisy. If I have my way the first institution I will disband is EFCC.

How can we claim to be fighting corruption when the instruments with which we are fighting corruption are themselves corrupt.

Police thief prosecuting ordinary thief. Guy go and rest. You will hit your head against this wall, you will bleed. Go to some ministries and don't offer bribe and see if your work will get done.

we should not be talking about players in the 35 man sqaud, who knows Rohr mentioned Nwakali name because of the current pressure from the fans to call him up.

Make una leave this man make he work

Why not?

Is he the only AMF we have in Europe?

Did he even perform better than those in a better league than him?

Well, what else do I expect from someone who told me performance in a top league earned Simy a place in Russia ahead of Kayode and suddenly turned around to tell me he doesn't see anything wrong with picking a division 2 player ahead of a player that did well in division 1?

Double standard, isn't it?

you are very manipulative, can you bring out where i told you that performance in a bigger league earn him a place instead of kayode.

better go and pay back money you collected from those players
