To be honest, i don't think so. I just feel like he has not shown up to half of what he can do. I was one of those who called for Joel's invitation and also called for him to be dropped. I have no permanent loyalty.

Well on a second thought, Rohr said they had all discussed what the players could bring to the team while pruning down the list. We don't really know how the discussions went.. It's not like anyone imposed any player on him. Players may have made the list based on specific qualities, not just based on stats. At the end of the day let's have the best 23 players.. Hopefully more deserving players will be giving a chance after Russia 2018 regardless of who is the coach then.

Not based on merit again! I thought people claimed that Rohr choosed Simy because his recent stats was in the Seria A? shocked

I am confused. undecided sad

Mujtahida:

I don't want to talk about this again but let me tell you how I understand his points: he wants the same unit of measurement to be applied and for us to be consistent. If we say club form then let it be club form for all players.

It's okay Bro. Let's move on. I appreciate your intervention. We desire the best for our team.

Casual - that's the word that came to my mind ever since Aina played against Algeria and that's the word popping up in almost all accounts of his game yesterday. Does he really want to play for Nigeria? The passion seems not to be there.
@bolded, true, especially as a newcomer to the team.
Its the first time i'm ever watching him though, maybe those that have been watching him has different view but i doubt thats how he plays for his club,i heard he amassed a lot of caps this concluded season.

Without a full strength Ndidi playing for us we have a big gulf that nobody can fill at this moment.

That leaves us vulnerable to the losing dominance in the midfield and getting over run. I deh fear Oh.

Oga mujtahida what point is your forgiveness making,i have been watching you stylishly supporting forgiveness.

A coach said he had someone on his 35 man list and also said he selected his players with his crew in his house.

is the boy is the 25 man list??
do you know the other 4 players??
what is forgievness problem with Nwakali??
is Nwakali not a Nigerian??
is Nwakali a bad footballer??
why do we pay the coach and his assistant if they cant have a say in the coach selections??

is anyone in the 25 man list that is not supoose to be there?

oga you ans your man forgiveness need to answer those questions

You were not asking these questions when Kayode was dropped. All you said was 'deal with it' Rohr has chosen based on pedigree of club and performance.. Why the sudden change of mouth? shocked

K. Nwakali's invitation was a blessing in disguise no doubt. I say that because his stats don't look relatively good. But like I already said in my afterthought, he may have made the cut because they saw some qualities in his play they were looking for. He was tested and he did pretty well.

The question I keep asking myself is, why did he not perform in the Eredivise before he was sent back to the second division?

How do we know those who performed in the top league in Europe wouldn't have done better if given the chance?

Croatia coach comments on our friendly match with Dr Congo

''There was a mixed team, Simon Moses was injured. They are terribly strong out of the box, in the launching of the attack, fast, but their weak point is the defense phase. We'll see what we can do about it,'' Dalic said to Sportske Novosti.

''Surely they are not better than us, in any case, we just have to prepare well.''

''We will score a goal, but we must be very careful and keep the defensive shape. The Nigerians are dangerous from the position and punish you if you are weakly closed and go away with a lot of players ahead,'' he concluded.
Sounds like a general assessing his enemies. WC is war!

Sir, I understand that Onazi is a core member of this team.
But he is loosing his touch and fast becoming the shadow of his old self.

Dude looks overweight and does not look like someone ready to lay claim to his starting shirt anytime soon.

So for now. I'll rather/prefer to pair Ogu and Ndidi as our double pivot In a 4-2-3-1 formation than having Onazi and Ndidi's partnership.

Onazi has really regressed and the fact that Rohr is still depending on him is a source of concern for me. Onazi shouldn't be starting games anymore when we have Ogu, Joel and Agu. His leadership qualities and fighting spirit are commendable but he doesn't bring much to the team anymore, especially, since he went to Turkey.

FIFA should allow Nigeria to go with 30 players. Nigeria should be allowed to field 12 men against Croatia and Argentina but that wont stop the massacre that will happen.

Can Mikel and any of those wack midfielders match Modric and Rakitic in the midfield? Can your full backs stop Perisic? Can your central defenders stop Manzukic?

Nigeria dont know what awaits them in Russia. You people have been mouthing off against England. On 2nd of june, you arrogant ignoramuses will be shut up.

Rashford, Sterling and Kane will eat you for dinner.

Are you a Nigerian?

I'm not supporting him stylishly. There's no need to be covert. If I support him I will do so openly and there's no rule against that is there?

Read carefully and don't jump into hasty conclusions. Didn't you read my response to realpoacher?

Forgiveness has facts to support his allegations. Did you read me say he is right or wrong in his allegations? All I'm saying is that instead of attacking his person rebut his claims with facts. How has that become stylish support. Make una dey read carefully abeg.

And did you not read me telling him to rest the point regardless of whatever the facts are? While I tell forgiveness to quit it, you too should quit this gang mentality cos if it were not gang mentality how can you come up and say I'm supporting him stylishly. No wonder he's accused of being tribalist when many read and conclude superficially. Didn't you read Joebie bending towards forgiveness? Why? Because of the Facts (interpretation of those facts might differ but you have no monopoly on how to interprete it and that's why I say answer his claims!!!)

Disprove his case has become stylish support. Na wa for you

Simple and short. GBAM
