No, what it reeks of is sarcasm.
well that doesn’t sound like sarcasm to me, it is more of negative emotive prejudice Cos I don’t see the reason why he said ebuehi is weak. He think say na by to get muscle and short for ground naim be strong? Ebuehi get balance for ground, you think say if you jam
Body with his body he go fall?

Shehu has not been good against European Opposition, It is not one game. He was caught out several times against poland and serbia.

I'm not a shehu advocate, his a good player but not a right back, we can't have a world-class right back in ebuehi and start him.

Ebuehi reminds of Bale when he plays in the left back position, Ebuehi is GOLD

The last player is between Joel Obi and Agu
he still has future in super eagles but for now i will go with Echiejile

Ogu has been a good player, you guys just realizing it now, he was dropped in 2014 unfairly...he played our game against italy in england and was our best but was still dropped
I'm not sure though but I heard he had some problems then with his club or something like that.

I will support Nigeria henceforth.

Simi Nwankwo will be Nigeria's joker in the world cup. I believe he will do well for the team. Onazi killed Nigeria yesterday. I have watched that match again. Shehu was not very composed, i think he should start again for Nigeria. Nigeria should keep possession like they have always done during the African qualifying. Keep the passes short if possible, most of the long passes were intercepted. Onazi is strong but very poor concentration in yesterday's match cost Nigeria a lot. He was not moving or positioning himself well. His awkward and pass pass resulted in the free kick which Uzoho parried to corner, the resultant corner kick was badly defended by Ekong and Mikel gifting Cahill the liberty to nod home.

I pray Ndidi recovers soon enough. Overall it was not a bad game for Nigeria. It would have been very disastrous in the first half. Etebo did well linking up the midfield with his tackles, runs and short beautiful passes. They need to work on their shooting as well. Coordination, cohesion, communication especially in the midfield are vital. They were lacking in the first half.

I think Nigeria will surprise the world.

And also the coner kick issue is always our problem, Rohr need to do something on that, England could have scored more corner.

On his good day, he tackles well. He is strong, it is hard to bully him off the ball. Loftus Cheek would not have done to him what he did to the likes of Musa in the second half. Only Ogu could match that strength but he loses concentration.

you have eye, i was disappointed by Onazi today, maybe he was on pressure to impress scout and all that, but on his day he is very physical imposing and match opposition players strength to strength.

Ebuehi has for me put Shehu into retirement NUFF said.

Joel Obi and Onazi have lost thier with Onazi carrying way too much weight.

Ogu did not stabilise the midfield, we were playing 3-5-2. He was left sided CB his lack of pace and recovery opened the door for Welbeck you almost have an open road to score goal if not for Ekong.

Etebo brought much needed invention, stability, mobility, attack and much needed defensive backtracking.

Musa gave Walker a lesson in sprinting.

With the work they did as a collective Mikel was unleashed with licence to roam. Iwobi is fast growing up and running tings.

When will Aina get a game at RB or LB we really have not tested him properly.

Idowu has given Echiejile is pension, nuttin more to say.

Finally, football brought the Naija community out in full force LONDON shake no be small.

Met old classmates I hadn't seen for years and some Naija celebrity musicians.

GR8 Day in the end after causing cardiac arrest to the nation the revived themselves in the second half.

Choi Southgate, honestly this is the first time u ever made sense to me especially with the bolded. Let's not get carried away, Ogu lacks pace, hence, gave welbeck a field day, thanks to Welbeck's mumurity he should have struck that ball before Ekong came to the rescue, forcing him to pass back and in the next calling, winning a sliding tackle.

About Onazi, Shehu and Joel I have always pointed that out that those guys are pretenders.

Lol most young players worse pass etebo own.
Problem is he raises the bar so high, so when he loses form it would be very glaring because he’s a player that has the potential to impact games for any team.
But forgiveness let me ask you a question would you drop etebo for aluko after all qualifying series ad friendlies? It would help understand why you are always so passionate about Yoruba players.
I’m Yoruba, love Hausas the most, most of my trusted friends are Igbo and I feel better when i see a Nigerian young talent is Igbo because they bring that assurance of quality over time atleast most of them, with th northern unique talents like musa, sadiq, Nura sheue etc and the Yorubas intelligent players like balogun, idowu, aina, kehinde, that’s what makes the team special so Why must you try and sow a seed of discomfort in matters of tribe, if you do not see all in naija has one then your no much better than these called rasicts. We are one ad that’s what makes naija giants, this your tribal conflict insistence is troubling especially on a soccer forum.
You do not want to be a troll trust me, because when you bring good analysis people will ignore thinking you’ve started another tribe war, your a man and reputation matters a lot.
✌.
this post is very unnecessary. Please don’t start another meltdown.

I don't agree with the first point, His high praise for Ebuehi's performance suggests otherwise. He made excuses for Shehu. Infact, i think he is beginning to concede.

I won't be surprised if Ebuehi starts the first game.

I like your last sentence.

Drogba used power against any team - Europe, Africa - getting good goal returns in clubs and national team, where he scored more than 50 goals in CIV jersey, although his WC performances were not flattering.

Same with Yakubu. Good scoring ratio for club and country.

If you are a power playing striker, use it anywhere.

When you are easily caught up in simple caging of your midfielders, there s a problem.

As bad as Yakubu was, he sometimes temporarily changed to the wings to get better supplies if supplies were not coming from middle and he cut one or two defenders to score goals.

Drogba even sometimes dropped deeper into his own half.

Ighalo should learn to do more too.

Power is an asset to him, but he could do better. The era of standing 9 is gradually fading.

PS: The coach, based on post-match press conference, was satisfied with his performance. He might have ayed strictly to instruction

the coach needs to instruct him to do more. the simple fact if the matter is that Ighalo is probably our best bet, we haven't tried Simy enough and only God knows why but when compared with Nacho Ighalo is the better choice by a mile

now mikel don't have energy to play AM, where will he play, will his energy be enough to play DM.

stop making excuse for him, why didnt you say moses was tired too.

The truth is football is a team sport, you need somepeople to rise to the occasion when others are underperforming, iwobi proved to us he should be starting and mikel needs him around but if we go about judging players after each match then iwobi should have been dropped after Poland and serbia game because he was very poor.

Today i see people praising Etebo and now should be in the plane ahead of Onazi, this same people were complaining and predicting that he will be dropped.

make una take I'm easy on una analysis

I am going to guess you haven't played much football in your life so I will explain.

As an AMF you are a striker yet you are a midfielder. AMF is quite different from SS and rightly so. When you are playing as the AMF you need to defend when the team is defending and still be the first one to move the attack, that requires a huge amount of energy. When Mikel was playing the DMF position during the AFCON in 2013 he was hardly ever subbed, recently in all the games he has played as an AMF he always gasses out, that should tell you how tasking that role is for him and without proper rest his effectiveness will diminish.

Playing a standing four in a double pivot does not require much energy and that's why he can still perform there till now. The coach however needs to decide if he will be the standing DMF or the roaming DMF because I totally so not believe that Ndidi can be the standing DMF ever.

For the record I have always told everybody that Etebo is good, always has been. And I have always said that Onazi is past his prime, I have always said that. so next time before you make that kinda reference, please check the moniker well

I have always stood up for Uzoho. I just did not believe, he was ready for the WC based on what i saw in his club. That does not mean, i do not believe in his potential. In fact, if you go back to my posts on the Poland and Serbia games, you will see that i spoke highly of his potential.

My worry has never been his potential, it is whether, he is ready NOW. Based on what i saw for his club, i was not sure.

By the way, a few weeks back, i did post a man of the match performance from him.
