Thought he played that position while on loan last season. Either way, if he's to play in the midfield, then Fred or Herrera would have to sit on the bench and I highly doubt if that's possible. As good as Andreas is, he'll have to settle for less because of Pogba, Matic and Fred, even Lingard or he plays on the right wing.

I expected Sanchez to be the solution to the RW but judging from how he was deployed and the damage caused just to play him on the LW, Andreas might have to move there.

Won't be so quick to write the team of based on one preseason game. The essence of preseason is not to go on a winning spree---you could get key players injured if you play too competitively.

Preseason matches are organised to calibrate fitness levels and fine tune tactical maneuvers.

While the performance was largely non-descript, you'd have to be Graeme Souness to not notice some youth stars shining. Tahith Chong was fuchën awesome I think, keeping track of his touches, he only lost possession of the ball twice and that's exceptional for a talent his age. I also like the fact that he's left-footed while retaining decent use of his right leg. The sense of urgency in his approach to the game was also commendable, at least he is not a "wan kona merchant" like some. That cross though...was a relief to see good crossing from the right after having to seat through the shite-fest served by Sir Antonio last season

Decent player. I feel he'll settle to a position soon as it seems he's taking the Ramos route. After all, Sergio Ramos started as a 9, got converted to a right wing back and subsequently found his sweet spot as a center back. We'll see how it goes

u look at the player's age first of all.....can he deliver for me season in season out, can he stay injury free??

Then u will now start considering all other bonuses like
Money being paid to the club if he scores a certain amount of goals
Money being paid to the club if his appearance that season is top notch

Me too. Preseason never determines how a team will fare in the league. It's just a money making avenue and training to prepare players ahead of the coming season. If we perform badly next season, it had nothing to do with our preseason.
