Abagworo has the pictures but getting him to view this trend and upload them is the problem. As for me, I don't have their pictures because I saw them on YouTube and I will have to go back to YouTube to screenshot some of them which will cost me much data. Give me your own facts on education and healthcare let me counter them and tell you guys that Anambra is not better than other eastern states in all sectors.

Just shut up because there is absolutely nothing to show anywhere in Imo state. The state is a cursed backward state. Leave out other state, this debate is between Anambr and Imo. Got it?

Guys please can you just stop this online hatred n fix yourself? Why is that we Igbo's are always quick at bashing each other online I hate it with all my blood anytime you guys make a mockery of each other, have u ever thought about wat other tribe will say? No, rather u foolishly come online to bash each other. No wonder they say we Igbo's are not united.
I weep for you guys .
@nnamdi and imo1stson

I seriously doubt these guys (or guy, as it maybe one person doing all this) are Igbo!

I think some people are not happy seeing how the Igbo threads have lasted this long, and want to set the cat amongst the pigeons, just to see if that would help derail proceedings!

lol. Private schools? Show me government schools abeg. If you don't have pics, I'm fine with that but at least, tell me how many standard schools Anambra currently has and their impacts. Let me also drop one more, Imo state secondary schools currently have the best equipped chemistry labs in the east while Imo and Enugu states are currently competing on the state with the best equipped computer labs in the east although, Enugu leads in this because Okorocha has not equipped 100% of the secondary schools with computer labs. How you also noticed that all government schools in IMO state are not bungalows?
Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by lmo1stson: 7:03pm On Jul 21, 2018
The point that you called it a private school speaks volume lol. that is how public schools in Anambra looks. Look closely again you will see school buses written Anambra state school cheesy

Here is the order of schools in the SE. Imo state is the last when it comes to that.

Anambra

Enugu

Ebonyi

Imo

Oga we all have seen all these pictures before. You keep showing us only 3 government schools located in Onitsha and one pink coloured school that is partly owned by the Catholic church. Imo state government renovated over 455 schools across the length and breath of the state and you are showing me only 3 schools in Anambra which you guys have shown us many times already. I laugh in German. Remember that Imo state is doing all these with free education policy. Okorocha is wonderful

You are just dumb, Anambra handed over schools to the church and went ahead to be sponsoring them. Anambra has the best public school system in Nigeria. Show us where Imo state has represented Nigeria before in international school debate. Imo state is the least when it comes to education in the SE. You don't have structures, you don't have quality. You have nothing. The few structures you had have all collapsed.

Wow. The hospital is beautiful but since we are on a comparison competition, I have to counter your post. Imo state government has constructed one of the most active emergency centres in Nigeria in Owerri with tens of ambulance vehicles, also constructed a specialist hospital that handles cases of heart problems, lever problems etc. The government also built 27 general hospitals, one in each LGA, of which each one has over 200 beds, x-ray machines, machines for eye treatment etc. One of the 27 hospitals has been handed over to the Nigerian Police for management, one has been handed over the Army, one to the airforce, one to the Navy, one to an American health organization while the remaining 22 are managed by the state government. Can Anambra beat that?

lol see painment. Just because a heavy storm blew off the roofs of a government school in Imo, that means all the schools in Imo also suffered same fate? Its just like saying that because one of the flyovers Obiano constructed that started cracking after only 1 year, then all other flyovers in Anambra have also started collapsing. Where are you facts young man? Let me drop another one, IMO state government has fully equipped all the 27 ICT training and learning centres in Imo state of which one is located in each LGA of the state, and were all constructed by the state government from scratch in order to boost ICT literacy in the state. Show me Anambra's own.

Ngũgĩ wa Thiong’o, Chimamanda Adichie and Nnedi Okorafor are the 3 African writers nominated for an alternative Nobel Prize for Literature.

Following the shocking cancellation of this year’s Nobel Prize for Literature on grounds of a sexual scandal, a group consisting of 100 Swedish cultural figures including writers, actors and a rapper have come together to create an Alternative award.

The Guardian reports that the New Academy opened the doors for Swedish Librarians to nominate authors from across the world who have “told the story of “humans in the world”. The 46 nominees consist of our very own Chimamanda Adichie, Kenyan writer Ngũgĩ wa Thiong’o and Nigerian/American SciFi writer Nnedi Okorafor.

Other nominees include Cormac McCarthy, Margaret Atwood, Amos Oz, Haruki Murakami, Sofi Oksanen, Olga Tokarczuk, J.K. Rowling singer Patti Smith and a strong list of other renowned writers.

Another intriguing part of the New Academy prize is people can actually vote for their favorite author! Voting opened this week on their website.

The New York Times is reporting that voting closes on August 14. After which three finalists will be selected from the votes and announced on the 14th of October. The librarians will also get the opportunity to select a fourth finalist.” A panel made up of a literature professor, two librarians and two literary editors will then choose the winner“ , The New York Times adds.

The winner will receive 1 Million Kronor which is about $112,000. A banquet will also be held in the winner’s owner.

Chino stop this madness biko. I understand you want to swell the pages of your thread as you have nothing to show but come out plain with your real moniker. Meanwhile mission schools are owned and run by religious organizations not Government. Every State has beautiful mission schools and private schools but you judge Governor's performance based on State schools.

If Covenant was in Anambra you would have claimed it as a State University.
