ChrisKels:all these pre-season games flatter to deceive. I did not mention a player, did I? You did not read where I mentioned Man City? You did not reason that maybe I meant the clubs games? And who is Achor? What brought him into the discussion? Pre-season games flatter to deceive, and a coach that will offload you will offload you, if you like kill yourself on the pitch. I'm sure you can think up examples about that as well |

andrew444:you assume all of us support a club in EPL? That is your first mistake. City will not win the league this time. I will not engage you further on this, because we have had this argument before and it turned ugly. I will not go down that path with you. 1 Like |

ChrisKels: How many goals did last year's waste man score, how many MOTM has he been awarded this pre- season. ❓ ❓ ❓ Link to match reports below. His name not even mentioned. https://www.football.london/watford-fc/news/brentford-vs-watford-player-ratings-14963284 So can you substantiate your view or is just HYPE of your favourite player ❓ |

komekn: This is from your link: Striker: Isaac Success Looked lively alongside Gray. Used his pace and power well as he ran at the heart of the defence time and time again. 7 That is the second highest ranking of any player for Watford. Isaac Success has had a great pre season, easily one of the shining lights of Watford. Hopefully, he turns it into a great season. And please, enough with the wasteman comment. It shows your bias. Players bounce back frompoor seasons all the time. 6 Likes 1 Share |

Nigerians should watch out for Luke Ayodele Amos. The boy is a baller. We should not sleep on the guy. If he makes his breakthrough for spurs this season then England will invite him. 1 Like 1 Share |

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino had nothing but praise for Nigerian midfielder Luke Amos following his man of the match display against mighty Barcelona in an International Champions Cup encounter held in Rose Bowl this morning. Despite Barcelona and Spurs permitted to make eleven changes each, Amos was one of six outfielders that played the full game, the others being Aurier, Davies, Carter-Vickers, Eriksen and Son Heung-Min. Based on Amos's performance in pre-season, including against Roma, everything is pointing to the fact he'll make his long awaited debut for the North London club in the new season if Spurs can resist the temptation of loaning him out to continue his development. Speaking post-match, Pochettino was quoted as saying by Spurs official website : ''We need to take positive things. Luke and Oliver are having time in competition with the first team and I think that is an amazing experience and it’s fantastic for our youngsters to live that experience. ''We need to take positive things in a negative period with some injuries to players.'' He continued : ''The reality is that they’ve played against Roma and again tonight, fantastic. ''Luke has played the most, Oliver, Cameron, Anthony… they now have the chance to show their quality. I’m so happy with them." The 21-year-old Luke Amos has been on the books of Tottenham Hotspur since the age of nine. Ifeanyi Emmanuel 1 Like |

safarigirl: You are on this occasion quite apt. Seyi Ojo scored in Liverpool pre season games. However, considering the world class top players he has to contend with in Liverpool. The possibility of him breaking into the Liverpool first team is very slim if not impossible. It looks likely he will be sold for £10 million plus. Could be the championship or some of the lesser teams in the EPL. 1 Like |

BascoVanVeli: I am on this occasion WRONG without question. Not afraid to say. I didn't look at the article in depth just scanned through it. And missed the comments about Success. That being the case it's Fabulous news. I have always said FAILURE is the beginning of success once it's accepted and learned from. He is now under no illusions, I hope about the mental tenacity, diligence and DISCIPLINE required to make it in the EPL. Talent alone is not enough. He needs consistency it's early days yet but signs of Promise. Every good player quite often proves pundits and even personal coaches wrong. I remember when I first met Raheem Sterling and seen how small and physically under developed. I concluded he would never make it. So let last year's Wasteman become this year's Best man. 4 Likes 1 Share |
