Fair enough, but what states are more developed in Nigeria? Are the Northern states more developed than the Southern states, hence why they keep winning the presidential elections?
so southern States are more developed than southern States now? Kontinu

The best thing is give them their Biafra, so they can stay in their states, but so far as everyone is a Nigerian, they are free to settle in any state.

All states belong to all Nigerians.

Do they really want BIAFRA?

Politically, Igbos don't matter in this country. Last elections, they supported Jimi Agbaje in Lagos and he lost. They supported GEJ and he lost. They don't vote but only make noise online.

Until you sit down and develop your states, other Nigerians will not respect igbos or give them the opportunity to lead the country.

As for Biafra, consistent, effective and strategic planning will get igbos Biafra if they really want it. The fact is that igbos are not ready for Biafra yet. It is only a tool to secure political mileage and interest in Nigeria.

We can’t keep coaching you on how to get Biafra.

U said it all

Nothing is happening down there. I've been to all Igbo states apart from Ebonyi.

Can you compare the development in Ogun State to any of the SE states?

Election is approaching! So the opposition will cook up any story to grab Igbo votes while the incumbent govt will do anything to secure Igbo votes!

I know if not for the fast for the fast approaching election next years Ambode will not be 'romancing' the Igbos and other non indigines!!
igbo votes didn't bring him, I doubt he has any romancing to do.

But then, I expect igbos to fall for a new pdp tribal disgusting politics again and throw brain in the bin while they embrace emotions.

Talk to your brothers to sit down at home and develop the place. The igbos are an enterprising and energetic tribe. Politicians should not leverage the fact that igbos are economic migrants to rile up ethnic sentiments to harvest igbo votes.

A word is enough for the wise.

I neither belong to these ethnic groups

But I think Lagos was a former capital of Nigeria and owes much of its success to the efforts of others.

Lagos has the major sea ports in Nigeria, and thus has an unfair advantage over other parts of the countries.

Most of the major airports, and international consulates are located in Lagos, so the unfair economic advantage over other parts of the country.

A majority of the real estate development and property in Nigeria are based in Lagos, and these things are owned by foreigners and other ethnic groups in the country.

Lagos may be working because these people still stay and invest their lives there.

There is no theory that says that when they pull out, they would never succeed in another territory.

Ukraine, even Singapore are all examples of these.

So I think it is quite stupid and petty-thinking to condemn the rest of the country who have come together to pool their resources so that life would be better for a lot of people, just because they threaten your political significance.

As far as I know, the governor of Lagos would never have made such Xenophobic comments

So what...
Is it a crime for Ambode to discriminate against Ibo? If Ibo didnt want discrimination he would have stayed back in his autonomous community...

Shut up, Lagos was a federal capital territory, don't even deceive yourself thinking the minor development you have in lagos today was funded by state government, it was done using the collective efforts of various ethical groups in Nigeria especially with the resources from the North and Niger Delta.
South East can boast of many states booming extremely well, apart from your Lagos which other state do you have in SW.
It was this same tribalistic government that made Yoruba compulsory as a prerequisite for gaining admission in UNILAG in a secular, deversified nation with many ethnic groups like Nigeria.

Shame to you irrational people. That's why some Igbos don't want anything to do with one Nigeria.
It is only an Igbo man that possess this one Nigeria mind among all other ethical group because he would build his residence, establish his business for life in any part of Nigeria he sees himself unlike any other ethnic group.

Igbos wants to leave Nigeria, they are greedy
Igbos stay in other parts of Nigeria, they like dominating
Igbos talk about restructuring, they are confused.

Despite all the so much hate on the Igbo man yet they remain the most successful ethnic group in Nigeria even against all odds.

O.d.e same way you develop Osun, Ogun, Oyo, Ekiti and Ondo, Lagos was former colony, was developed by all tribes, belong to all tribes and some foreigners, all you can do to rant year to year online and offline. Just know Igbos and other tribes are now rooted in Lagos all you and your incoming generation will continue to say go back to your village which we are now familiar with.

Just develop the SE and inhabit it. Most Yorubas love igbos but igbos don’t reciprocate that love. We all know Ambode cannot discriminate igbos. It is only a machination of unscrupulous politicians.

If only you people would stop making noise and chest beating maybe, just maybe you won't be treated as irritants by other tribes. I've lived in the Niger delta the same distrust yoruba and hausa have for igbos is the same they have for igbos.
