We still have aniocha LGA in Anambra so be specific
Of course I know Anaocha LGA in Anambra under which you find towns like Neni,Agulu,Agulu-Uzigbo,Agulu-Ezechukwu,Agukwu-Nri,Adazi-Nnukwu etc. I challenged him to mention his town in Aniocha and I will burst his seams.

Bros, igbo people are being marginalized politically but we should not downplay the fact that there are more level playing ground given to the igbos in some places in the country. Infact, many places in the north were ceded to the igbos just allow them have places to stay and do business. Paniso in kano is one of them, while we keep building our minds that we cant move because of northerners, they are not as strong as we place them. Just do your thing and stop thinking even the hausa beggars are the ones holding us too.
Bros, there is no level playing field or father Xmas gestures dashed to any Igbo in the North. Every single piece of land occupied by Igbos in the north,at least in Kaduna,Kano and Jos where I know are all fully paid for. You mentioned Paniso in Kano. Then there is an area called Apata in Jos. It is a miniature Onitsha and every single piece of land there was paid for. In same Jos there are other Igbo "colonised" areas like Farin Gada,Gada-Biu and West of Mines. Fact is Igbos are a dispersive and venturing/industrious lot. All they ever acquired, they worked for them and are fully deserving of such. The popular ultra-modern Jos main market(Terminus) bombed by Jihardists in the year 1999 was fully occupied and sustained by the Igbos. I can go on and on. In all these areas, our people are taking full advantage of the opportunities and are even creating more for themselves. The councillors representing these areas are Igbos and it was purely not given but a factor of demography and higher consciousness to utilise dominated advantages. This also applies to Honourable Tony Nwulu who represent Oshodi/Isolo in Lagos House of Assembly. Same as Mrs Rose Orji who represent Ifelodun in the Federal House of Reps.Quota systen,Federal character,ELDAs,Land Use Act,Indigenisation Decree,Petroluem Equalisation Act,Boundary adjustments in the old Eastern Region,Centralization of Economic Laws and Statutes,Centralization of Police,Para-Military and Military statutes and all manner of Centrist laws prevalent in our Constitution all took effect after the war in 1970 to curtail and whittle down Igbo push for sovereignty and keep them perpetually subjugated. I can equally mention many critical infrastructure cited in other regions purely against every modicum of economic rationality without an equivalent in Igboland where it is even more economically and socially rational to cite them. This is certainly a body of discussion on its own.

I know you're not Igbo because you seem to believe the most common way for someone to acquire land is the government dashing it to them lol.

we should stop this idea of calling people with opposing views as non igbos.

Simply come up with a superior argument if u dont think his own can work.

Let me explain something to you. If you had come out with your true identity as a Yoruba man and contributed constructively to this forum while disagreeing respectfully on some issues, I don't think anyone should have problem with that. The problem everyone has with you is the fact that you decided to contribute with a false Identity. Pretending to be Igbo when you are not is the main problem. All of us are extremely sick and tired of yorubas especially and some hausa-fulanis playing that game.

Create another moniker and come back as a Yoruba man that you are. Contribute constructively and no one will have problem with you. After all this thread is not secret. Its can be easily accessed by all Nairaland members.

even within a family of same mum and dad, opinions must differ. But when you get a brother who will always give bad advice to all the family and support strangers against his family every time, even when his family is right, better send him to do a new DNA, he may have been switched with another newborn unknowingly in the maternity ward when he was born.

Our major problem in Igboland is illiteracy. I cannot for the life of me understand why people will rather question someone's Igboness than actually present a superior argument to counter theirs no matter how ludicrous their assertions are. I don't have to conform with a universally accepted idea to be Igbo. We need to do away with this disgusting attitude.

The problem with you guys is that you keep replying these miscreants and giving them the attention they desperately want. The easiest way to kill an animal is to stop feeding it. Stop feeding the idiots with attention (is this so hard?). When you notice someone is on this thread for an idiotic purpose stop replying to that person. I don't think this is so difficult.

I am very shocked this is coming from you considering that you have been on Nairaland for years and have witnessed the proliferation of monikers pretending to be igbo and causing havoc amongst our conversations. The moment any character is found to be claiming what they are not, their opinions become very suspicious from that moment. If someone has integrity, why do they need to carry a false identity.

I will fully embrace a non Igbo person participating in these conversations with us than one found to be pretending to be Igbo.

Are you Igbo? prove to me that you're Igbo.

I could care less who is Igbo or who is not. As long as we cannot prove our Igboness on an anonymous forum, we have no right to determine who is or who is not Igbo just because their thoughts don't align with ours.

Forget the aerial views, these are what I saw in Owerri, Imo state.

Someone has the most recent pictures and are exactly as depicted:

https://www.nairaland.com/4693174/imo-lg-election-hold-saturday

As I stated before, it is better witnessed than told. Okorocha is the worst thing that happened to Imo State.

By the grace of God, nothing will ever take me to Owerri again.

Okorocha has his shortcomings. But when someone like Abagworo comes online to lie about the rot in Imo state,
it leaves much to be desired and gives credence to the saying that blacks are their worst enemies.

if you're willing to breathe and think you'll know that allocation is a very common means of distributing land in the north, and a non-existent one in the east. So when someone speaks from the perspective of how a group of people collect land and starts showing their cultural understanding, it's safe to make an educated guess

Not everybody must reason like you. Igbo people are not homogenous in their thinking. So, calling someone awusa or on-Igbo because of their opinion, reinforces our behavior towards people who hold a seperate view. Ot's for the same reason that people were insulted for not supporting IPOB. Our growth and development depends greatly on our willingness to be liberal and accomodating.
