Tunde Bakare was called to the bar in 1981, he established his own law firm in 1984 and left to set up a church in 1989. So how come he could afford houses in the UK and the US within 5 years of setting up a law firm? What cases brought him so much fortune?

You don't know a single fact about Bakare. You claimed he was a rich man before becoming a pastor, that he owned a cargo airline.

Now read this... Bakare read law in Unilag between 1977 to 1980. He was called to bar in 1981, and went for NYSC afterward, and later joined Gani Fawehinmi Chambers. In 1984, he established his own chamber. In 1988, he was called into the ministry. In 1989, he founded the Latter Rain Assembly.

He never owned a large scale poultry farm, let alone a cargo airline.

Your excuse seems lame and senseless. Tunde bakare was called to the bar at the age of 27 in 1981, so how come he had a cargo airline in the 80s or even the 90s?
Did he inherit a fortune from his parents?
As somebody who knew little about him, please help us answer these questions;
How much was he worth when he started his ministry in 1989?

How much is he worth now?

What businesses is he involved with now?

Where did he get the N160million to borrow El -Rufai?

Where did he expect El-Rufai to get the money to pay back?

How would he have gotten back his money if El -Rufai had lost the election?

You don't have to defend him. I know much about Bakare, and used to respect him. But he lost my respect when he ventured into politics and became too desperate to hold a public office(for a man of God).


N160m is a lot of money. For a man to give out N160m, he definitely must have at least 6times more than that.
Bakare owns no cargo airline. He studied law in University of Lagos. He was a practising lawyer, and later established his own chamber(Tunde Bakare & Co). At the peak of his legal career, he was called into the ministry.


Like I asked earlier, where did a pastor like Bakare get N160m from?
