It was started during the last administration. I believe it for Massive water tank that will supply pipe borne water to the new "Ochudo" city. I remember that previous administration planned a large market and industrial zone in that area.

what is Ochudo City?

Ochudo city was a new city project that was started by the previous Ebonyi state governor, Martin Elechi. The end goal was to modernize Abakaliki by building a new city within it with planned housing estates, industrial zones, mall, markets, government house and secretariat. But I don't know if this current administration is continuing with the project or just doing his own thing.

I think Umahi has retained the plan, while adding his own ideas of what he thinks an ideal city should look like.

I hope so my brother. I hate abandoned Projects. Especially the ones that can potentially be an eyesore because you cant avoid seeing them.

Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu state, Abia and Imo are all artificial creations.. Lets never forget that. Its a fellow human being in POWER that drew those lines NOT GOD.
Keep deceiving yourself. Anambra and enugu/ebonyi have nothing in common. We are worlds apart. The anambra indigene is uniquely superior to our neighbours by light years. Imo people trail behind a distant second.

Abia state self. Ikpeazu is jst looting away abia money. What he does is to collect levies from keke napep drivers. The worst part of it is that the deputy governor is from my hometown but two of them ave nothing to show for it
. The nkporo/Abriba road i don't knw if they ave completed or not

I quite agree. The problem of Aba on Nairaland is that the parts of the city that we see pictures of is like only 2-3% of the city. And to make it worse, its the busiest and dirtiest parts of the city..

I remember when in the past, when the only pictures of Onitsha that we used to see was the dirty and crowded head bridge and upper Iweka areas.

What Aba needs is a good image more than anything else. We need people to take good quality pictures of the developing parts of the city. This will encourage more investors to come and invest.

I will get to Abia later, there has been no business activity that has taken me there since this year. I was once working in Aba, Umuahia and Mbaise in Imo at once in 2016. One day I will go to Aba on a one day holiday on a weekend when I have the time.

Enugu has about 10 flyovers.
bridges you call flyover? they should renew the city master plan, and initiate construction of flyover, to give the city a diff look..

before we tag it an abandoned project, do you know whether the past governor set out land to build the city because it may have just been a proposed project without anything done to achieve the project. A new city in Ebonyi like the one being built in Enugu will definitely be good for Ebonyi and with someone like umahi handling the project, it will be the most beautiful in igboland.
