Frankrobbn1: I sent an urgent request for it to the London email immediately I picked up my passport yesterday, I received an automated response, and nothing else yet. I sent the same urgent request to the Lagos email this morning too, no reply yet. Can I still go ahead and use the CSE web form or will this be an overkill? |

Segunagagu: Someone here promised to assist you. Let him guide you through the admission process. I believe you will get the admission on your own. I'm not going to dissuade you from using EWC because I won't be happy if someone does that to my Client. Read the thread and decide how you want to proceed. Rest assured, a lot of people here are willing to assist 24hrs of the day as they are in different time zones for free. Hell, someone may even walk to the international office and get you information. I guess they promised to refund because they are 99% sure of securing admission. If you go through the thread even on this page or one page behind you will notice that folks have secured multiple admission on their own and even have challenges deciding which one to take. |

realshifu: I hope they work over the weekend. Seems Monday is Bank Holiday in Canada and UK. Have I not read of someone who travelled without it and it was printed in Canada from the system at the Immigration counter? Can someone confirm if my recollection is in order or if it was in my dream? The information will help @realshifu . Thanks. |

Nogen:Ma Nogen, With all due respect Ma, before I lay a comment on this reputable thread, I must have underwent series of research and gotten a solid information about a particular case. It may interest you to know that I have also enjoyed experiences similar to that of the applicant. A clear example is an applicant who is a very close friend of mine. He returned from US to apply for a Canada study permit and haven't stayed up to 6 months in Nigeria. He thought that he won't be called for medicals, since he once lived in the US. Surprisingly, before his application was approved, he was sent a medical request. To be honest with you, the law was only emphasizing on applicants in England and not those who are applying from Nigeria. I hope the applicant MrsDaniel will be here to share her story on the success of her application. 2 Likes |

realshifu: Are you requesting for your correspondence letter too? Yes you're absolutely free to send them a CSE through the web form. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by realshifu: 9:49am On Sep 01, 2018 |
galala123: Thank you for the response. I really hope your recollection is not in your dreams. I will fund such information very very useful. Truly, Monday is Labour day in Canada and US (First Monday in September), and I am afraid too they don't work on weekends. |

papijulah: For paper route, the correspondence letter comes along with your passport in a sealed envelope. A correspondence letter is a letter which you're ought to show to the immigration officials at the POE when you arrive in Canada to get your study permit and SIN (work permit). A copy of a typical correspondence letter is attached herewith.

Good day to the Gurus in the house and distinguished Nairalanders. My Study permit application was refused for the second time. I was initially refused in London on the ground of purpose of visit. I put up a strong SOP to convince the VO why I would return to Nigeria after my studies. Provided evidence of personal investments, bequeathed building from my late Father, included my admission letter which stated that payment of school fee can only be done after receiving study permit and other strong points which I did not include in my first application, but after notifying IRCC of changes in my status that my wife put to bed and stated that I have made adequate provisions for their up keep I was slapped with a refusal by nairobi in two hours after sending the message. This time nairobi stated four reasons for refusal even though I took my time to prepare a very strong SOP. I do not know whether I did wrong by informing IRCC of changes in status cos I know it is mandatory to reveal such changes to IRCC so as to update your profile. I AM NOT GIVING UP YET.

Hi Joe, I am so sorry about your refusal but I am surprised you didn't consult the house when u decided to send an update to IRCC on your change in status. I have observed you are an active member of this forum and your contributions has been very meaningful. The gurus might have suggested how u can approach it joe10: |
